Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Livingston County

The pictures do not do this place justice, Amazing. Setting outside on the beautiful deck looking over the lake is incredible. The home has everything you need to enjoy a long weekend or several months, this isn’t just a place to sleep, this place is part of your vacation. If you need to get away from everyday chaos and relax this is the perfect place. Our next trip to Michigan we will be staying here.

We stayed here while visiting family in Brighton for Christmas. It’s a great location near Grand River, not far from Downtown Brighton. There are many stores and restaurants around. The house was clean and cozy.

This was truly one of the best—if not the best—Airbnbs I’ve had the pleasure of staying in. Immaculately clean and thoughtfully stocked with everything you might need for a comfortable, relaxing getaway. The location is perfect, with easy access to the lake, making it even more enjoyable. Our stay was wonderful and absolutely worth the trip. Thank you for being such a great host!

We stayed here for a conference we attended at the town over. WIlliam is a great host! While there were a couple of items that we asked William to take care of, he was super responsive and handled it immediately. You will not be disappointed with this property!

The Lodge was everything we expected and more! The layout of the house was great and gave all of us room to space out! The morning sunrises and evening sunsets on the back porch overlooking the lake were the best! Thank you for being such a great host! And your neighbor Dan, he is the best! We can’t wait to come back!

My goodness, the pictures dont do this place justice. I think we underpaid! The house was beautiful, the surroundings were amazing, 10/10 highly recommend. Joseph was timely in his responses, we had no issues with entry or accommodations. A word of advice to future guests, carpool or travel in the least amount of vehicles possible, the parking is scarce and we would not want to impede on such a beautiful neighborhood with a procession of cars. Thank you Joseph 100%!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! D thought of every little thing, and then some, to make our experience more special. The home was gorgeous and had everything that you could possibly need. There were many games for everyone to have a great and entertaining time. It rained during our whole stay, but we all had a wonderful time anyway. I would highly recommend this home for your next getaway. The Dragonfly is a one of a kind beautiful experience.

Lisa was a wonderful host and even met us at the door when we arrived to make sure that we were settled in okay and knew how everything worked. She checked in throughout the stay just to make sure everything was okay which I appreciated. I would gladly stay here again as it was the perfect location for when we come to visit Lapeer. The place was very clean and lovely and the appliances were easy to use. Thanks again Lisa!

This was a lovely place to stay near campus with my three children! Clean and comfortable, and the host even had a small chest of toys for the kids. Highly recommended!

Looks exactly as listed! Great views from the balcony with nice natural light from inside. The evenings had plenty of relaxing fireplace heaters inside with dim light settings. Heated bathroom floor was my personal favorite. A great park to walk in nearby made it the perfect relaxing getaway we were hoping for!

This was my first Airbnb stay and it was great. The stairs are super steep, that’s my only concern because of my bad knee, but I’d still stay there again. The unit was very clean, organized and all the furniture was very comfortable. The location was great, the neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. The host was helpful and quickly responded. My flight was delayed almost 6 hours and he made sure the front light was on for me. 😊

We had a pleasant stay, just a couple small quirks to the place we didn't anticipate, maybe I didn't read the listing close enough, but host was responsive and friendly. Perks were it's a spacious stay and has a comfortable bed. TV and fireplace are nice. Quirks are is a first floor apartment complex with a tenant above and there were banging noises above that kept waking us up. Host responded they'd ask the neighbor to keep down the noise, a great option, however the noise kept happening seemingly every time we tried to sleep. Bath towels are located under the bed in a plastic drawer, which isn't correct from the description given "in dresser" and there were no towels in the bathroom initially, which really confused us. The shower is well water based and has a horrible odor, not much the host can do about this but it made showering quite uncomfortable. I still rated 5 stars due to these being minor quirks, overall the stay was peaceful.

Keri's place was very lovely! It was the perfect place for us to retreat to after our long days. The place was super clean — the bathroom was spotless, the kitchen was really clean (including the inside of the fridge!), and the bed linens and mattress were fresh and comfy. Everything we needed for our stay was available. We were grateful for the clear directions and expectations along with the recreational and dining suggestions. We also really appreciated how responsive and thoughtful Keri was — she went out of her way to accommodate our special situation and made sure we had everything we needed. The little welcoming touches were noticed and appreciated. We hope to stay there again! Thanks, Keri!
