Katherine was a fabulous host and greets us when we arrived, she also takes the time to stock some provisions when you arrive which we were not expecting. Our stay was truly lovely, peaceful and I slept so well. Thanks Katherine

Kite 2 at Lake Cottages at Cwm Chwefru

VinothRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We recently stayed at Lake View Cottage and had a truly relaxing experience. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, with stunning views of the lake and peaceful, natural scenery all around. The cottage had a lovely sense of privacy, making it feel like our own little retreat. The swimming pool was a big hit, especially with the kids—they had a blast! It was the perfect mix of comfort and tranquility. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy quality time with family.

Unique Railway Box Carriage

Great place to stay if you enjoy bird watching and nature, only a field away from the river. We saw Tree Creepers, Pied Flycatcher, Kingfishers, Dippers, Mistle Trush, Coal Tit, Red Kite and Brown Trout just a couple of minutes walk from the cabin door.

Set in AONB & 40 Acres of Private Countryside

JamesRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Just to echo what everyone else has said in there reviews, this place really is amazing. From the views out the window, the local countryside, the availability and friendliness of the hosts….its all 5*. Communication was excellent and Jem even arranged for us to borrow a bbq for our stay. Which along with the fire pit we used most nights around the occasional downpour! Can’t wait to come back and experience all the bits we didn’t get time to do.

The "Tranquil" Heart of Wales

ClareRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great stay at the barn; it was easy to find thanks to the directions provided by Kirstie & what 3 words. The accommodation felt luxurious & finished to a high standard. It was incredibly comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location is so peaceful, with wonderful views. We really appreciated having access to the farm land for walks - it was perfect for the dog as we could pop out into the fields whenever we liked. We really enjoyed meeting the donkeys and the horses, they were a particular highlight! Not an exaggeration to say it was the best Airbnb that I've stayed in & we'll definitely be back :)

Beautiful barn conversion in quiet rural location

JennyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We greatly enjoyed our stay in this beautifully restored ancient stone barn high up on a hill with great views of the surrounding pastures, meadows and hills. The accommodation was spacious and tastefully furnished, with comfortable beds, a huge bathroom and a nicely functional kitchen. The back garden was an oasis of flowers, birds and bees, where you could sit and drink your tea and relax after a long day of exploring the surrounding countryside. Jean-Marie was an excellent, friendly and responsive host who always replied within minutes to our queries. We spent one day trout fishing on the nearby Wye, and another cycling the Elan valley. Rhayader, just a few minutes' drive away, had great restaurants and cafés. For a small, outdoorsy family of three in need of a relaxing break in a serene and beautiful spot, you couldn't do much better.
