Holiday rentals with a balcony in Locarno

A beautiful view from the balcony and at the same time only 5 mins walk to the old town, another 2 mins walk to the promenade. Truly the best Airbnb you can find in Ascona!

We fully enjoyed our stay and will definitely come again. All emails were answered promptly, kindly and committed and the reception was just as friendly. The swimming beach and the old town of Ascona are within walking distance, as are the shopping facilities and the bus stop. Nevertheless, the apartment itself is pleasantly quiet.

We were very satisfied with the accommodation. A lot of attention has been paid to cleanliness. The location was also very great. Everything was easily reached on foot. Staff is very attentive and responds quickly to any questions. Parking is also available. Heartfelt to recommend.

A great place to stay that matches the pictures. If you like peace and nature around you, this is the place to be. The view over the lake is gigantic and Casa Il Nibio is well equipped. We were completely satisfied and would come back!

Great, clean and modern furnished apartment with everything you need and great view of the lake. The hosts welcomed us very nicely and were always available. You could also use the stand up paddle and canoes of the property. The apartment is located at the north end of the lake and we felt it was not quite as busy as in the more southern villages. Due to the location directly on the street, it is a bit louder, which did not bother us further. The direct access to the lake was always worth it and we would definitely go back.

Nice place with great atmosphere and brilliant views, not a lot of crowd and friendly people

Communication was great! The village and the property are in a very quiet location and invites you to relax with the large outdoor terrace. The pizzeria around the corner is definitely recommended. There were four of us in the accommodation, the sofa bed is unfortunately very uncomfortable, which is why a stay for two is better. Simone was very nice and also happy to help if you have any questions!

We had a pleasant stay at Casa Carmen. Since the beginning, carmen has been really helpful. she went far and beyond. Or flight got pushed back and we arrive really early in the morning (around 3am), and she waited for our arrival just to make sure we arrive safely. Her house is stunning! it's very spacious, we even have our own garden, and the kids really loved their room with a playing area in the attic. Superb hospitality and comfort. It's only 8 minutes drive to Luino and the view in Luino is just spectacle. Thank you for everything Carmen, your warmth and kindness made us feel very welcome and instantly at home! We'll definitely reccommend Casa Carmen to everyone!

Beautiful villa on the lake, exactly what we were after. Gianni was a great host, very responsive and everything with the check-in and house was very clear. Thanks for a great stay!

Enrica (AKA Kikka) is a delightful woman who cares about her guests and does everything to make them feel at home. She responded very quickly to any of our questions and needs. She had great suggestions for restaurants, activities and site seeing outings, all listed in an informative book on the kitchen table. The view from the room is magical, almost beyond description, as you look out on to Lake Como both day and especially night! My partner & I whole heartedly recommend you consider Enrica’s attic for you lodgings at Lake Como! Cameron June 2025

This place is so close to the ferry that it puts the entire lake at your disposal. The view from the room was beautiful. Very comfortable and accessible. And be sure to walk down to Villa Carlotta!

The accommodation was beautiful and very clean. The communication went smoothly and they responded quickly. It was easy to find a they had a parking spot on the property for us.
