Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Loch Long

Wow! Wow! Wow! We were totally blown away by how amazing this place is. What a beautiful, characterful home. Very easy space to relax in, with everything you need and more. Stunning location. Sitting in the window or on the front porch the views were mesmerising. Half an hour to Loch Lomond and The Cobbler. Discovered the sailing club across the road and watched sailing races while enjoying a G&T. Brian the host is so helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again when we visit this part of Scotland. Thank you for a wonderful trip.

Beautiful location and property. Had every amenity that was needed. A blow dryer was included, which was nice that we did not have to travel with ours as the plugs are different from country to country. The yard was filled with plants and flowers and was extremely beautiful. Conveniently located to many popular attractions as well as Northern England. We would stay here again. The town of Killearn is so charming, and the shop owners are very nice and willing to help with anything that is needed.

This place was hands-down our favourite stay in Scotland! We had planned to use it as a base and explore Stirling, but we loved the surroundings of the farm so much that we stayed put! Two nights was not long enough! My husband and the kids did hikes up the hills around the farm. I enjoyed my book and a glass of wine while watching the ever changing scene of animals in the fields! Donkeys, horses, sheep, highland cows…it was a slice of paradise.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Perfect Stay! The house was absolutely perfect, peaceful, beautifully kept, and had everything we needed. It truly felt like a home away from home. We had such a relaxing time, and the surroundings were so serene. As expected in Scotland, the midges were definitely about, but our lovely host Angela recommended using Smidge, and it worked a treat! Angela was brilliant throughout, so helpful, responsive, and accommodating to all our needs and questions. We couldn’t have asked for a better host or place to stay. 100% recommend and would love to return!

We were impressed by the photos on the website but the cottage was even more impressive than the pictures suggested. A spotlessly clean cottage, warm and welcoming, with lots of spaces to relax from the comfortable bedroom, spacious lounge, dining kitchen, cosy nook, and porch area at the back of the property. The garden was magical too, and I found myself drawn to wander around it, seeing something new each time. We were VERY lucky with the weather & the lower patio area was a fabulous suntrap! We have a friend who lives on Bute and when we come back we will definitely look to book Hawthorn Cottage. Thank you Rosemary, we had a wonderful stay.

What an incredible place! Very spacious and immaculate inside. It has everything you need. The bed is so comfortable and the outside space is brilliant Just loved everything about and will be booking again very soon and can’t recommend it enough! Thank you Laura

We loved our stay at Scott’s place. Unlike anywhere we’ve been before with the RGB lights and black interior. It was very spacious and practical. Partner loved the walk in wardrobe! The bed and pillows were certainly comfortable, probably the most comfortable Airbnb I’ve stayed in. And the hot tub was bliss, very hot and jets were very powerful. Overall had everything you needed for a couple days stay and id definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay in this cosy, wee cottage that had everything we needed. Irene was very friendly and helpful and quick to answer any questions we had. We would be happy to return.

Went there for a weekend on motorcycle. Great place, safe parking for motorcycle, Perfectly clean property, fully equipped. on arrival there was waiting for me bottle of milk, butter, fresh eggs from Frances hens! so you can imagine that my breakfasts were eggcellent! thank you very much Frances! I highly recommend this place.

The flat is beautiful and spotless. plenty of atractions in a close proximity, lovely view from the bedroom window. Suz is a great host, very proactive, everything went really smoothly.

Emma’s apartment is such a great place to stay with the most amazing view out towards the islands and really modern, tasteful decor. It is light, bright and spacious offering an ideal place for both short or longer stays and it is an easy walk along the prom into Largs. I would love to stay there again.

Mandy is a great host always very quick to respond. We had a very comfortable stay in her spacious apartment. Everything you could want for a home from home. Position is ideal with Inverkip village a short walk away, with there local village hotel for something to eat and a few drinks. You can get the local bus from the village. There is also the Chartroom only a short stroll from apartment if you want somewhere closer to eat and drink. Inverkip train station is close to catch a train to Glasgow.

Hannah’s place is gorgeous. Very small kitchen, but well laid out and manageable, adequately stocked for our needs Hannah’s description and instructions are clear A lovely touch, a welcome basket of teas, coffee, milk and shortbread. Also shower gel in the bathroom

Highly enjoyable, but ideally it would have received 4.5 stars. The negative aspect of this apartment was the rather noisy boiler situated in the second bedroom.

We had a lovely stay at Margaret’s place! It was very tidy and homey, and had everything we needed. The parking was good and the location was very nice too. Would recommend to anyone!

We stayed as a group of 8 and could not rate our stay high enough! The area was stunning and private, the villa was spacious and comfortable and our host was attentive for the entire duration of the stay. We cannot wait to book our next stay and hope to make it an annual trip! 12 out of 10!

Fantastic house - we had a group of us stay over new year and it was perfect. Huge social areas with a perfect kitchen and dining area for entertaining. Alan was so helpful. Would recommend!

We were a family of 11 and 3 dogs and we were blown away by the villa. When we got inside we were walking from room to room saying wow at every new room. We cannot praise Nicola and James enough for their communication throughout keeping us informed. Everything was just perfect 👌 the extension with the dining room with the long table was our favourite room and the sofa positioned so you could look out over the loch was everyone’s favourite place to be ❤️ The villa is very well stocked with everything you could need and more. I had read about the welcome pack but didn’t dream it would be as lovely as it was (sadly it’s all gone now!) the hot tub was very welcome after a busy day. The scenery in Scotland is stunning. Three of our party climbed Ben Nevis and the drive to Fort William must be one of the most beautiful in Scotland/UK. We had a fantastic stay at this Air BnB – it truly felt like a home away from home. The house is beautiful, warm, and welcoming, with all the thoughtful touches that make a stay extra comfortable. The hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive, making everything seamless from start to finish. The location is perfect – nestled in a peaceful area but just a quick hop onto the motorway, giving you easy access to both Glasgow and Edinburgh. Philips home is beautiful, such a joy to stay there every window and door looked out to the garden across to the Firth of Clyde, amazing views watching the boats and birds, and ever changing sky's. I cannot eat Gluten and dairy, Philip provided his home made breakfast pots which were really delicious also bread milk biscuits, fruit, yoghurt and jams also sunflower spread, tea and coffee, orange juice he had made so much effort to ensure they were suitable for me. The bed was so comfortable and to wake up open the curtains to those views what a joy! I can highly recommend Philip and his airbnb home, truly wonderful Anne
