Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lofoten

The views for this place were even better than the pictures can portray! There was a view outside of every window! The host was easy to communicate with and made it feel so welcome! This cabin feels like it's loved and part of a family. Such an incredible spot!

The best airbnb we've stayed in! The pictures of the post don't do its justice for the breathtaking view that stunned us the moment we arrived. The house is beautifully decorated. Kitchen is well maintained and more than fully stocked. So perfect, that we could've stayed forever.:) I left my phone time-lapsed the midnight run's movement overnight in the living room. Couldn't think of anywhere else could offer such comfort. Marius was very responsive and considerate. The instruction to find the house is clear. Just pay attention to the house #. It will help in finding the way. Located conveniently close to Leknes which has everything. Minor notes: no microwave nor shampoo. But the place was so flawless that we didn't mind. A sidenote - Sorry I turned off the heater coz it's warm. I only learned later that in Norway it is probably more energy efficient to leave the main heater on all the time. I should have known better. A truly unforgettable experience-highly recommend!

Stein-Ove and Marita are the best possible hosts, as they do their ultimate best to make sure that their guests have a phenomenal experience, in their fabulous house, in the unique environment of Lofoten. What stands out the most, from my view, is that the guests get the real experience of real life in such remote area of the world. This was my and my wife's intention, totally fulfilled beyond expectations, and we will never forget what we saw and how we felt. The house is situated in a magnificent location, between splendid mountains and coastline, and still easily accessible via a road where there is very little traffic, which ensure total peace. We felt what it means to have a family life in Lofoten, basically the experience cannot be more authentic, truly. Needless to say, the house was spotlessly clean and had all facilities to feel at home, e.g. we could use the kitchen to have a peaceful dinner overlooking the ocean. In brief, if you want the real experience, do book this house!

Elin's house was very cozy and very clean, I totally recommend it, Hans greeted us with these words "Welcome to paradise", and the truth is that it was, a very quiet and cozy place, the house has a dock and we had a Kayak to use, thanks to Hans for the fish he gave us, it was very tasty.

Lisbeth is a very friendly hostess who greeted us personally and introduced us to the apartment. We immediately felt comfortable and really welcome. The apartment is cozy and has a wonderful location right on the water. You can use the sauna once and then refresh yourself directly in the cold water of the fjord, if you like.

Very nice cabin, with upgraded kitchen, living room and bathroom and nice bedrooms. The only thing we thought was a bit poor was the old kitchen equipment and service. Here, you should upgrade this. Otherwise, nice location.

Hilde‘s home is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed in. It’s elegant, cozy, warm, beautifully decorated, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make yourself feel completely at home. There are baskets of sweaters so you can sit warmly on the balcony and watch the water and the light change. She has thought of every detail you might want to be able to relax fully and enjoy this unusual island. She even has binoculars for you to use to watch the birds and any sea animals that might come by. She was helpful, kind and timely in every interaction I had with her. I could stay here happy for a month and perhaps I will another time!

Very large and comfortable flat, perfect to visit the area!

Perfect location, you can walk to the shops and from Leknes you can get to any place of interest in an hour. Despite the good location, it is a quiet and easily accessible place. The apartment is very modern, nice and comfortable and is well maintained. And the host gives you independence. To put a minimum, but they fall a little short in details such as gel (there was none), coffee and other kitchen accessories that are usually in other accommodations. In any case, I would return with my eyes closed.

If you’re looking for a place to relax with family, this is a perfect fit. The rental is spacious and well appointed. Everything you need for cooking is available as well as a grocery store just a few minutes away by car. Sven is helpful and responsive to questions. The environment is quiet, scenic, and peaceful.

We came to Norway to see how we like it. My wife and I have travel 11 months per year, and we started this almost 7 years ago. We enjoy warmth and hospitality of tentsl places of Croatia, Portugal or Greece. Our impressions here in Norway has not been great at all. However, Hege is an Exception. She's the only one who was generous and hospitable. If we came here again, she would be the one to contact. Others were so stingy that we decided not to return. Very lovely country, but rental owners' class does not match the magnificence of the spectacular land. Hege's place is clean, very well furnished, I could say exceptionally well. She offers lots of extras. She works hard for good reviews, which translates into better business opportunities. Other places similarly rated do not come even close. I think people are afraid to voice their true feelings so they give all star ratings to mediocre establishments. Hege, thank you and good luck!

Anne Lise is a wonderful, responsive and available host. He helped us with all the information we needed. Nusfjord is a paradise on earth. I couldn't recommend staying in Nusfjord and at Anne Lise's accommodation any more. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, we felt at home. The fact that there is a private parking space at the door is incredible. The local population in Nusfjord is very friendly and helpful. The bakery is wonderful, the best in Lofoten. We were also lucky enough to be visited by a friendly couple of rabbits, who happily hopped through the forest behind the house. Everything is wonderful there! I totally recommend it. Congrats on the layout! We loved staying at this apartment. Very well located for visiting Les Lofoten, close to shops for shopping. Very clean accommodation, very well furnished, very well equipped, connected tv. I don't even know which superlative to choose. Monica's apartment is just WOW!!!! Very large and incredibly stylish and high-quality furnishings. In the kitchen you will find everything you need to cook. The living room is incredibly beautiful. The beds are a dream. We slept wonderfully. We also used the washing machine in the bathroom. Detergent is available. The apartment is extremely well located, very quiet, but still close to Leknes and of course very close to Offersøykammen. Monica and her cousin were very friendly and helpful. We were also able to check in earlier. In conclusion, we have never stayed in such a good place on Airbnb. We highly recommend this place.

The accommodation is located outside of Svolvær. But it can be reached by car within a few minutes. The location is quiet and is adjacent to a forest and lake. The apartment is furnished with a lot of love and you feel very comfortable right away. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted by Peder and his cat. He took the time to show and explain everything to us. The apartment also has a terrace, incl. Grill. Top, we would definitely book this apartment again.

The apartment was super clean, we had all we need, the location is perfect! The host was super friendly, helped us to get to the accommodation from the ferry as there was no bus! Loved all the details! We had a great stay!

We had the pleasure of staying 8 days over Easter at Roger's apartment in Ballstad. We have traveled home incredibly happy and satisfied. The apartment is lovely and central with walking distance to everything from shopping to hiking routes to bus stop. Check-in was super easy and no problem. The apartment lived up to the photos. The bed and duvets were great. The bathroom had a great shower and was clean and tidy. The kitchen lacked nothing and the living room invited for coziness. Outside there was a table and bench we had lunch by and enjoyed the view. It was a great luxury that we didn't have to clean the head, just put the towels in the laundry basket. Thank you for that. All in all, we felt incredibly at home, and could have easily taken another week. We would recommend the place and Roger as a host to anyone who would like to visit Ballstad. Roger was a great host who helped us get home as no buses drove from Ballstad. 100% worth a visit and a place we want to come back to.

Practical and cosy stay in Henningsvær! Easy to find and self-check-in to. Compact yet well-designed apartment in a peaceful private area. The place was modern, sparkling clean, and had everything we needed for our short stay driving around in Lofoten (parking right outside, kitchen with dish washer and bathroom with laundry machine were especially appreciated). Would stay again and recommend to everyone. The host was also very kind, helpful and fast to respond when we booked at short notice. Thanks!

The space was perfect for a few days in Lofoten. Check-in was easy and flexible and everything was in excellent condition. The location of the accommodation is perfect to explore a lot of the Lofoten and still have a quiet retreat. Despite the fact that the apartment is in an annex to the residential building, you always have privacy and feel very comfortable. The view was unbeatable and delighted us every day. We would definitely visit again!
