The house is located on a small hill, with views in all directions – towards the sea, the mountains and the open landscape around. Here, it's a short distance to most places – museums, galleries, cafes and shops. Good starting point for swimming, short/long mountain trips, climbing and bouldering, as well as cross-country skiing and alpine skiing in winter.

Stamsund is located in the middle of Lofoten. Leknes is 10-15 minutes away. An hour's drive north is Svolvær, and an hour and a half south is Reine/Moskenes. Short distance to the popular beaches Haukland, Uttakleiv and Unstad.

The place is recommended for two people, or adults with children if you were to be four people. Stamsund is a perfect starting point for experiencing all of Lofoten! With an hour by car to both Svolvær one way and Å the other. Right outside the apartment, there are opportunities for nice mountain hikes or swimming trips. Stamsund also has both grocery stores, restaurant and cafe in walking distance.

The area is rich in sea eagles and there is a high probability that you will be able to spot one. You can also rent a boat for fishing in the fjord.
