Holiday rentals with a kayak in Logan

The exterior and outside grounds were nice but fairly rustic. It included an above ground pool, fire pit area and hot tub. The interior of the house was nice, updated, clean and very spacious. It included a gaming room, a poker table area and 2 dining areas in addition to the normal areas. The host was very quick to answer when we had a few questions/needs and we appreciated that very much.

Our family could not recommend this place enough. It was a perfect place for our family of 11 to stay! The kids were outside 95% of the time, whether they were in the pool or playing games in the yard, it was very kid friendly! You can tell that Tonya has high standards on who cleans her house and her swimming pool because they were immaculate. We had minor house issues (that come along with owning any property) and Tonya and her husband were very responsive and helpful! We will be back.

If you’re lucky enough to find an available slot, book it. Ideal location if you’re looking for a place to get a way with a group of your friends. Conveniently located near restaurants, grocery stores, and everything you else you may need, while also being secluded and totally private. Brent and Kelley go above and beyond to make the property feel like home. They are hospitable, friendly, and generous with their space.

Nice quaint spot pretty close to all the trails of hocking hills. Felt private enough despite having a few neighbors near bye. Great fishing spot just a walk away from the cottage. Only issue was that there is no air conditioning from what we saw. Tried lowering the thermostat but didn’t do anything. Couldn’t find any air vents for where an AC would come from. Recommend bringing fans for the hotter months but luckily it wasn’t too hot and opening the windows brought a good breeze in.

Ann is a great host, very responsive to any ?’s and even checked in to see how the first night went. Fire pit was perfect and the pond had a couple good sized fish in it that We could see from the edge of the pond even though the water was a bit murky/pond like. Location is Super accessible to all of Hocking Hills trails and sites!

We enjoyed our weekend getaway! The place was very clean and looked just like the pictures. The location was great, only 20-25 min away from all the hiking,adventures and stores if needed. Beautiful views and enjoyed the lake being right there. There were neighbors but they were a little distance away so that was nice as well! I would def recommend!

We wanted to find a place that wasn’t too far from home but would still be a little escape to take our boys to every year. This was our second year staying at this house. We could probably go later in the summer when it’s warmer and have more to do, but we like to go in the spring time. It’s secluded but not far from town or stores. Very private. Loved the paddle boat! We look forward to staying again next year!

Love this cabin! Our second stay here. Comfortable and roomy in a beautiful setting. We especially enjoy the electric fireplace, very cozy! 1st Choice Cabin Rentals hosts are helpful and quick to respond. Will definitely try to book this Airbnb next time.

I hate to give a such a glowing review because I don’t want to generate more competition to rent it in the future, but this venue was wonderful. We stayed this location for OU Mom’s Weekend & it was a fantastic choice! It was the perfect place to relax, connect and unwind when we weren’t in Athens. It had absolutely everything we could have wanted. It was a convenient Uber ride away & perfect for a group of moms. If you want a sweet place tucked away from the hustle with some cool country amenities, then this is the rental for you. It looks like they’re in the process of making improvements, but honestly the imperfections were part of its charm. Highly recommended!

Great location by Lake Logan and a nice setup inside with the sauna, hot tub and massage chair!

Our family and some friends had a lovely time in this peaceful ranch home on 85 acres with rolling hills and so clean! We cooked meals and enjoyed the hot tub! The hikes of Hocking hills were so cool!! The quiet rolling hills were beautiful.

we had a lot of fun in the kayaks. Clayton was extremely patient with several phone calls to confirm a few things and was quick to help. The pool looked amazing, but was unfortunately still closed during our stay, which we were aware of, but looked clean and fun! Next stay I would like to plan better to join more activities - the lazer tag looked SO cool, the lake was peaceful and inviting, and we saw seven red eared sliders sun basking! We didn't use the trails to their full advantage but kept stumbling on new things, like the cable bridge. everything was well kept up and accessible, and we caught several bluegill and saw bass in the lake. the biggest enjoyment was how safe we felt - it's a scary world with young kids, and I loved that I didn't feel the need to hover over them, and could let them enjoy themselves.

Phil is a great host, and the cabin was awesome. Off the grid, but easy access to Athens. Fun fishing spot, and a nice hot tub to relax in. Highly recommend.

This place was exactly what I needed! It was beautiful inside and out! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal and there were plenty of towels for showering and the hot tub. It was a great place to spend time hanging out with the family or enjoying some quite me time reading a book on the swing and listening to the sounds of nature. Kevin was an amazing host and always quick to respond to my questions. He was also helpful with suggestions on the best places to go for my long weekend. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Just make sure if you’re using navigation you put in where you want to go before you leave as cell service is definitely spotty once you leave the cabin!

Great place close to Hocking Hills. Our family really enjoyed our stay and the cabin/airbnb was very clean with many amenities. Very big and can accommodate easily the number advertised.

Bonnie's place was easy to find if you use the directions they suggested. Place was even more beautiful in person. Check in was easy the cabin was clean . The outdoor area was beautiful. The teenage girls loved the game room , swimming, and paddle boat. We loved feeding the fish. There was also o mommycat with kittens there. We went to Maxwell Pizza as suggested. Messaged Bonnie about the game room door , responded right away. No issues . We would love to come back make more memories. Thank you for sharing this space with us.
