Sleeping at the sheep & a whole herd of horses.

Wake up to the view of the dining room of a herd of horses that live in freedom, 2 pigs who make their bed every night in front of the window and sometimes a sheep walks by. Closer to the pure things in life. Therefore, there is no WiFi and no TV. However, there is a large table to play games with each other and a lovely sofa to have a glass of wine together. Making beautiful memories together together! Possibly tandem, boat and beautiful animal experiences to book!

The Waddendijk is within walking distance (1.5 km) and in the village (1 km) is the renowned Pizzeria Pingjum. Studio Pekelvisch consists of a simple space on the ground floor and a sleeping loft above. Compact, tough furnished with lots of old building materials. Don't expect lavish luxury, but authenticity, charm and soothing tranquility.

There were three of us staying with Bouwe and Julia for a long weekend. The location of the house is really perfect, very quiet and right between meadows and water. We could enjoy the sun on the two terraces and right in the water. It was really one of the best houses we've ever been to. In the house there was really everything you need, it was very clean and exactly as described. Check-in was flexible and easy and Bouwe is always available immediately for inquiries. We will be happy to come back!

We had wonderful week in the country. It was green and quiet, with a great play area for the children. Although the property includes a campground and a seniors’ centre, it’s so spacious that we felt totally private. Lenie couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful. Highly recommended!

Froukje is a very nice hostess. The cottage is tastefully and modernly decorated, very cozy. The cottage was very clean. There is a lovely garden. Panoramic view of the Frisian landscape. It is about a 10-minute walk to the village center with a supermarket and nice terrace.
