Great place to stay with family and dogs for a couple of days while visiting people; lovely house and quiet neighbourhood.

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this beautiful home! The house is on a pretty street in the quiet, leafy area of Barnes. It's an easy & quick to walk to the overground station and to all the lovely cafes and restaurants nearby. The garden is pretty and a great retreat for a wine or breakfast & feels quite private - a rarity in London. The house has been refurbished & designed beautifully, it's a treat to return to after a day out in London. Sarah has thought of everything you may need & can even organise a parking permit if you have a car - we got a space right outside each day. If you're thinking about a stay around SW London I'd choose this one. We look forward to staying again.

Great place to stay. Easy walk to trains with plenty of great restaurants in Richmond. Christine was very responsive. Neighborhood was safe and very friendly. We would stay there again.

Eugenie’s house was absolutely beautiful. It really is vintage heaven & the beds were very comfortable. The neighbourhood was peaceful with great transport links. I would definitely stay there again!

Paul and Angela's cottage was perfect for our short stay. The location is in a very quiet location yet within walking distance of all the places we wanted to visit in Greenwich and near great transport links to Central London. The cottage itself has everything you need for a comfortable stay. As mentioned in other reviews there is a narrow spiral staircase as clearly shown in the pictures but our 6 year old managed this just fine and we were able to take our cases up. Paul and Angela answered any queries quickly and were kindly able to accommodate requests to leave luggage at the cottage pre/post check in/out times so we could make the most of our short stay. We would certainly stay again and recommend to others.

We lovely Rebecca place. Calming and airy decor made us feel relax and at home. We had everything we needed. It was a perfect fit for our group of three generations of women. Beautifully appointed rooms one for each of us and so many lovely spaces with room to relax as a group or have some personal space. The outdoor areas, especially on the riverside were magical watching the swans glide by. If you’re considering this accommodation, you won’t be disappointed. Communication was also fantastic :-)

I booked this stay for my husband's 70th birthday with our family. There was 10 in total. The greeting was lovely and David explained everything about his property with passion and warmth. Im not surprised the place has the 'wow' factor for myself and family. The converted narn had beautiful features very pretty but David has introduced some great electric blinds, lighting, modern kitchen but fits with the period property. Fab tennis court, David provided balls and bats for guests to to use. David then took us to the pool area and extra bedroom and we were blown away. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. Lovely towels at pool and bedrooms. Plenty of hot water. Pool warm, jacuzzi great. We absolutely loved our time at Davids property. Would defo recommend. Top class.

Hugh and Sally are fantastic hosts – very attentive and responsive. The flat is lovely and has everything you need, including a washer-dryer, which was super convenient. It’s in a great location, close to everything. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return!

Two night stay for a wedding in the local area. Shame we didn’t have enough time for some walks and to try out the fresh water swimming pool! Jenny was very helpful, especially sourcing a ironing board for my wife’s dress.

Lorraine is one of the nicest people you will meet! She couldn’t do more for us, super accommodating and very responsive. The bbq was playing up so a new one was ordered and set up on the day! The grounds are beautiful. The cabin is lovely, clean and cosy with great comfortable beds and amenities all provided. We were especially surprised with how big and deep the pool was! Phone signal and WiFi not the strongest, but that wouldn’t stop me recommending this place to everyone ☺️ Thank you Lorraine and Kenny xx

This was such a cute apartment in a very convenient location, we really enjoyed our stay. There were so many thoughtful personal touches, like fresh flowers, robes and slippers, and a special playlist, and those touches made the stay even better! There were four of us, and our two kids shared the front bedroom and were very comfortable. Bonus, there’s a coffee shop on the nearest corner, which was our first stop every morning. Thank you!!

The Island House is a beautiful, comfortable oasis surrounded by green space and with views of a branch of the Thames. It is private, quiet and light-filled, affording a view of the diverse birds in the trees and passing swans on the river, while also within 8 minutes drive of Hampton train station with easy links to central London. There are cute pubs and restaurants in the local town (about 15-20 min walk or 2 min drive) and nearby towns, and expansive Bushy Park and Hampton Court are just 15 minutes drive. If you don't fancy a walk and don't have a car, but want a quiet weekend away without cooking - many local restaurants and grocery stores deliver to the location. Lisa is friendly and responsive and welcomed me with coffee, tea, fresh bread, milk, butter and fresh pressed juice. Staying at the Island House was such a treat; exactly the restful spot I was looking for while in the greater London area. Thank you Lisa!

What a fabulous couple of days we have had at Aimee's place! Aimee was wonderful to deal with, answering any questions in super quick time and so very friendly on meeting us. Such a unique place to stay - absolutely love the way Aimee has done her beautiful home up - we felt so comfy and so enjoyed the boat trips, visits from the gorgeous geese and swans, cats and meeting lovely Bob next door. We felt gutted that we only had a couple of days of our trip left - as would have loved to stay longer and explore more of the area. How lucky are we that Aimee shares her adorable place with us!!! What a find! Staying here felt like we were in a quiet country village. The area is very peaceful, with no night time noise at all. Right by Marble Hill park and a stones throw to the river. The cottage is well equipped with everything you might need and helpful supply of basics like oil and seasoning, tea and coffee. The outside space was a great bonus. Freddie was an excellent host who helped with any questions promptly. Highlights were boating on the Thames at Richmond landings, a boat trip to Hampton Court Palace, hiring bikes to explore the river towpath, a short train ride into London to the museums (district line) and an evening swim at Hampton Lido.

My family and I had a lovely stay at the Richmond Retreat. It was just what we needed for our few days away. It would have been helpful to have a second shower as there were 9 of us staying, but we knew from the online details that the house only had 1, so I’m not complaining! We would definitely go again. Michael and Lara were very helpful and friendly.

Easy to locate and access. Neat, clean, and tidy. Walking distance to shops and public transport. Great kitchen with everything we needed.

We stayed for 3 days 2 nights with a few friends and their kids. We occupied the 5 rooms. The house had soul and felt cozy. Lots of quirky decorations and treasures that the kids were keen to explore. The house had everything we wanted for a nice get together in terms of kitchen equipment, space and facilities. David was extremely responsive when we asked question and everything was taken care of before our stay anyway. The house was squeaky clean, spacious and welcoming. It is 10 to 15 minute walk from the station. Hampton Court and Richmond Park are within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this house if you want to stay a bit outside Central London while still being close enough for a day trip.

Amazing place to stay. We have a young baby so it was great to find somewhere so homely where we could enjoy ourselves in the evening whilst the baby slept! Nicola was very helpful and responsive. We had a great time cooking there and watching the cinema screen.

This place is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures, I had a wonderful time here and I’m glad I chose it. The host is very kind, friendly and helpful. It is located in a nice and well-connected zone. I felt very welcome, would absolutely recommend it!
