We stayed for a friends wedding. The apartment was very nice and host was super helpful. We went to shops, takeaways and for coffee and everyone we met was very friendly.

Very good stay. Beautiful view. We'll be back at the end of the month.

we spent a long weekend at Karens apartment and would highly recommend it. The apartment was lovely really airy and spacious, it was spotless clean and had everything you could need for your stay. The balcony was lovely to sit out in the evening watching the boats go by. It's really well situated with everything within a few minutes walk. Karen was great to deal with , responding within a few minutes. The bottle of wine was appreciated and enjoyed. We definitely will return .

My family of 5 can’t say enough great things about our stay here! The place was really cute, comfortable and most importantly CLEAN. The rooftop balcony was really nice for having morning coffee outdoors. Rosemary had a few breakfast items ready for our arrival. The bonus for us was her restaurant/bar. The food was incredible and the drinks were just as lovely. We were welcomed and shown unbelievable small town Irish hospitality from the staff and locals. We felt right at home. It was an ideal location for our last 3 nights in Ireland!

We had a great stay. Everything is like in the pictures. Well located. Maeve left delicious goodies for us. It's very well equipped for all kinds of guests. Totally recommended!

Kevin is a fantastic host—warm, communicative, and very accommodating. The location is superb; we had our boat with us, and Kevin kindly arranged a parking spot for it. The house itself is cosy, well-equipped, and made for a comfortable stay. Just a tip: it's best to do your shopping on the way, as the nearest village is Belturbet. We’re already looking forward to returning!

Our family of 5 adults enjoyed our stay at Mary and Ray's home. Each of our 4 rooms had an ensuite bathroom, and the home was equipped with heated floors on the lower level, as well as a wood stove, gas fireplace, and dimmable lights for a cozy evening ambiance. The home has many personal touches like motion sensor night lights in the entrance, staircase, and bedrooms, as well as a display of various family members' drawings and paintings. The view of the lake is amazing. There are many lovely restaurants in the area, including a reservation-only prix-fixe restaurant serving venison and partridge. This is a European home, and we were surprised to see a few added luxuries like a few screened windows as well as a tumble dryer (to soften line-dried clothes). Mary and Ray were incredibly responsive and hospitable to us throughout our stay.

We spent a beautiful week at Driney house. The children enjoyed the swimming pool, going out on the boats on the lake, paddle boarding as well as fishing on the lake. We played many other games (French billiards,tennis, badminton, darts, ping pong) all provided for us by the very welcoming hosts- Patrick and Caroline. All 11 of us (3 families) felt very comfortable in their cosy home, we explored the area and there was so much to do. It rained every day on our holiday (on and off) but this didn’t stop us to visit beautiful places and for all our children (10yrs-16yrs) to find something fun to do. It is such an idilic place and we would love to return one day.

Breda was lovely and helpful. Our kids loved the use of lake and canoe, down every evening. Would definitely stay here again if going down, lovely big spacious house.

Adam's property is in a fantastic location with a beautiful and soothing view over the lake below. A gated estate makes it so peaceful and private. All the amenities in the house that we needed were present and they were of a high standard. We found the property warm and comfortable, and we stayed in winter so that was great. The instructions to the property and how to enter were clear and easy to follow. Adam was very responsive and quick when we asked questions and provided all the information we asked for. He was flexible with our arrival and leaving times which really helped our logistics. We would definitely recommend the property and if we are looking for somewhere in this area again this would be top of our list. Watching the the sun come up on a frosty morning was so lovely!!.

Fabulous stay. House was beautiful and had everything we wanted for our trip. Hot tub was a definite highlight. Very comfortable with spectacular views. House is down a narrow country lane so just be aware of that. Would recommend highly for a lovely relaxing stay.

Philips house is a perfect location in Carrick. I stayed twice- once for a hen party and then for a family event. It was ideal for both! For the family event we had the small kids (3 months and 3 years) upstairs and they were not disturbed by the noise of the rest of us. It is short walk into the town, SuperValu is very close too. Communication with Philip was easy- he is very responsive to messages. There is no WiFi in the house, so we used hotspots for one family member from abroad. Recommend!

What a find. this apartment is very central and you can walk everywhere in the town from it. the apartment is really big and well laid out. everything was spotless. there were lots of nice touches like lots of cold bottled water in the fridge, some snacks on the counter, and nice furnishings. we were a big group but it was a great size for the 7 of us. I highly recommend this place and I'd love to come back again.

Fabulous place to stay for a weekend away. Gorgeous views. Very short walk to town and other amenities. Treats, tea, coffee and other items were lovely to find on arrival.

Beautifully furnished and presented spacious apartment, in quiet location while still being a just short walk to the centre of town

Paula was very friendly and helpful, we had our two dogs on their first trip and it was ideal. Large garden to run around and the walks along the canal were fabulous. Paula left us bread, milk and cereal which was very convenient. There was music upstairs in the bar which was busy but not too noisy.

Lovely property, especially the shower room. Nice and cosy, would ideally suit a couple but we had 4 adults and there wasn’t an issue. Cormac was a great host, even when I had to ring him at 7:30 on a Saturday morning after locking a phone in the property

Fiona was a very responsive host and very quick to answer any queries. The apartment was amazing with stunning views out over the water. Was so well equipped with everything you would need for a stay. Very peaceful location yet close to carrick on shannon. So much to do in the area too. highly recommend for a stay

We were in Knockvicar to research our family roots so Anne's place was perfect because we could access all the local graveyards/Leitrim Heritage Centre, Ballinamore, Drumshabo music festival etc. Anne was super-helpful but also respected our privacy. She was there if needed. Loved her spacious kitchen, comfortable beds, extras left in the fridge for us on a very late arrival from Cork, esp milk and tea. Plenty of supplies in the bathroom and the place was spotless. We had two very peaceful/quiet nights of sleep and really enjoyed our stay in Knockvicar. Thank u Anne
