Lake house holiday rentals in Loon Lake

Katharine went above and beyond, making our family’s Christmas stay a wonderful experience. She furnished the home beautifully with tasteful Christmas decorations and comfortable furniture. She had also put up a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. She personally greeted us with a basket of cookies, and she showed us the important details about the house to make our stay pleasant. The house had just about everything we needed for a wonderfully memorable trip. There’s room inside the house and outside on the grounds to spread out. Lots of places to explore for kids. We very much appreciated the serenity and quiet, which we have at our own home. We loved seeing a bald eagle fly by several times daily, beside the geese, ducks, and loons. If we are ever this way again, we would stay here in a heartbeat.

Beautiful place, we enjoyed kayaking on the lake beside the cabin and traveled 1 hr over to the Hiawatha for a biking adventure. Beds were comfy and Eva was a great host, very accommodating with changing dates and an early check-in. Very steep driveway but it didn't cause us any issues in the summer. The road it's on is not very busy.

This home was everything promised and more! Spent a lot of time relaxing and catching fish off the dock. If you love bird watching it was amazing watching the swallows skim over the water to the Osprey catching fish in the lake and the afternoon bald eagle that would hang out in the area. Loved the canoe and paddle boards to cruise the lake. Silverwood theme park is just a short drive away for some fun with the kids too! Plenty to do outside of the house but also tons to do if you want to stay and just relax at the house. Very homey!

This lake house was amazing and comfortable for our group. There were plenty of beds and the location a hard to beat. Quiet, serene, and amazing views this house is great for large groups and family reunions.

Beautiful views and a nice place for events. Not many places are so accommodating with hosting events.

Our family had a fabulous time staying at this residence. We kept busy with all of the amenities, and there was so much to do! The house is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need to hang at the house, fix meals, and just enjoy the scenery. The dock was well situated and we were able to rent Sea Doos and a boat from a local place in Sandpoint. Loved the fact that coffee was there on hand - never know if it's going to be a Keurig or a regular pot! The communication with the management company was very easy. We would highly recommend staying here. The only negative was our trip just wasn't long enough!

Have stayed at this Airbnb SEVERAL times now - almost like an annual tradition at this point - and it’s because of location and the incredible hospitality that they show EVERY SINGLE TIME to us. We are so grateful for our northern Idaho friends and the memorable highlight they provide every year! Can’t say enough good things.

Our stay was absolutely lovely. The lake and views are breath taking. The home was well equipped with everything you need for your home away from home stay. Kitchen products, board games, linens and more. The master bed was so soft, like a big hug. So cozy. The fresh air breeze from the lake at night that came through the windows, was so nice. We did not need to use the AC. The house was big enough for two families. We had a total of 8 people, lots of room. Just perfect. Michele was very friendly and easy to communicate with. The neighbours on both sides, were very nice. Everyone was respectful of the quiet hours. We would love to stay here again. Thank you for having us!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake home. The kitchen is well stocked for all cooking, plenty of games for the family, and the most incredible patio area. The home was extremely clean and tidy but felt so comfortable for our family. The lake is quite a walk away and we chose to drive down to the walking path each time we wanted to access the dock. We hope to be back again to create many more family memories.

By far one of the best places we had stayed in, peaceful, relaxing, tons of space for all of us and the host is VERY kind. Definitely appreciate the approval to be able to rent out the home when we had given a short notice.

After staying at Vince’s place next door and having a fantastic experience, we decided to try this one out and it did not disappoint. This home has a totally different vibe: super cozy, peaceful, and perfect for a laid-back family weekend or group getaway. You can tell Vince put the same care into creating a relaxing space that balances comfort, privacy, and fun. The backyard setup is amazing, a hot tub, a cold plunge, a large sauna, and a private patio that’s great for meals or just hanging out under the stars. Then a second hot tub off the primary suite balcony! We loved how quiet it felt, even being so close to all the CDA action. Plus, the detached room with the pool and ping pong tables was a fun bonus space, great for late night games. Everything was clean, well-stocked, and easy to use. The layout worked great for our group, especially with the extra privacy in the detached space. Vince was, once again, an awesome host. If you’re considering this spot, book it!

This house was perfect for our stay! It was spacious, immaculately clean, and very close to town, making it super convenient for exploring. The fenced backyard was a huge plus, especially for our pup, who had plenty of space to run around. The home was presented beautifully, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

This house was fantastic! There were so many things available to use (games, paddle boards, canoes, etc) and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. Brian was great to work with. I would love to stay here again!

This is a beautiful home in a beautiful location. We used the landscaping for wedding pictures, (with Cassi’s permission) and they were gorgeous! This home is perfect for an extended family gathering! The hot tub kept the younger members happy, the firepit kept the rest of us relaxed and happy! The interior of the home is open and gracious. It was very easy to entertain in! A truly wonderful weekend!

Can’t say enough about this place. Cabin was very cozy and had everything we could need. Very friendly neighbors and a great group of kiddos that mine enjoyed playing by with. Stunning view and access to the water. I will definately stay here again.

It is not to often you get to stay at a place that feels like home. This is one of those places though. was comfortable and relaxing and quite for most part.

We had two families stay for a ski trip to 49 Degrees North. It was a great place to stay for that, about 45 minutes away. The house is beautiful, with a lovely view over Loon Lake. It felt very private. It is a fantastic rental with a well-stocked kitchen (supplies for most things, some spices and condiments, knives could be sharper). The only issue we had was with the heating. The electric heaters in the bedrooms upstairs didn't seem to work after the first day. We tried contacting host and it took a while to connect so that it wouldn't get fixed until after we left. There was a very nice fireplace that provided good heat to the rest of the house. The driveway was dicey in snowy weather. I would recommend this place, especially for larger groups. There are good communal spaces.

Very beautiful property. We are familiar with the area. Water access and toys are great; the extra gas fire table by the water is awesome for evenings. Clean, large enough for everyone to find personal space, and have fun gatherings with everyone. Owners were very communicative when we had questions. Will definitely stay there again for one of @liveatandres concerts next year! We really appreciated it!

What a wonderful place to stay. Our family enjoyed the MANY amenities included in this home. The entertainment options for the kids were endless and even included a scavenger hunt around the home with a prize at the end! The treehouse and the game room were very popular, and we loved having a barbecue AND a firepit to fix meals with. The kitchen was very generously stocked with many small appliances (like air fryer, crockpot, blender, hand mixer) that you don't normally find at most AirBnB locations. We utilized the extra pads for the kids sleeping on the floor, and the port-a-crib and high chair. We enjoyed the generous dining seating for 12 and the extra tables outdoors on the patio and deck. We wished we'd booked a few more days!

We rented this family getaway for our family, and it was absolutely beautiful. It was quiet and serene and the cabin “hardly can say cabin” because it was big and spacious was so perfectly decorated! It had a dock and anything we needed! Our bonus was Jeff next door was so amazing, he let the kids be kids and offered his paddle board and paddle boat and anything we needed or asked for he was great! He went out of his way to make us feel at home.

We had a magnificent time! We found the hone and property in perfect condition and the host to be helpful and friendly. We’ll stay here when we visit Long Lake every time in the future. Very very special place!
