Barn accommodation in Lorraine

We had a lovely stay for the weekend. Jocelyne was a great host, even though there was a language barrier, there was lots of hand gestures and Jocelyne’s translation on her phone. Very relaxing and beautiful surroundings. We all fell in love with her 3 dogs. Lovely little pizza restaurant not far away and Intermarché 5 minute drive. The sauna was amazing, which is an extra €30 ph. Will definitely return again. Thank you for having us 😍

Our stay in Birkenwald was a lovely experience. The cottage, located in a very quiet environment, is comfortable, extremely clean and very well arranged. Everything is decorated with taste. My family and I can only recommend staying with Matthieu who is an ideal host: friendly, helpful, welcoming, attentive, responsive. We'll be happy to come back to Birkenwald for a stay at La Grange.

We had a great time at Martine's cottage. The accommodation is extremely well-equipped (for adults and children). The terrace allows a breathtaking view of the valley. Located about thirty minutes from La Bresse and 20 minutes from Gerardmer, we were able to enjoy the ski areas. Martine and Dominique are very available and responsive hosts. We recommend this place where we were able to enjoy the calm and warm atmosphere that prevailed there.

The location of the accommodation is beautiful and quiet. The garden is fantastic for sitting outside, grilling and relaxing

The lock house of Urs is a true insider tip for all those who seek peace, nature and warm hospitality. The location is fantastic: surrounded by forest and canal and with the sound of the lock in the background, you immediately feel like you have arrived and slowed down. Urs is a very friendly and helpful host. Thanks to his many tips, we were able to discover the region in a special way. In his small boutique, we were also able to get to know some regional specialties. The accommodation is ideal for switching off and recharging. At the same time, the area offers numerous excursion possibilities. We enjoyed the days very much and can recommend the lock house without reservation. Thank you, Urs – we'd love to come back!

We had a great stay in Nathalie’s place. It was well appointed with a very comfortable bed, fast internet and the best shower. Nathalie and her husband were so friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to provide us with lunch when we were caught out by a public holiday.

Having enjoyed our first stay 3 years ago, we returned to La Grange à Hay and found everything we liked: warm welcome, comfortable cottage with swimming pool and large garden, ideal location to reach the Wine Route, Mulhouse or the Route des Crêtes... We highly recommend it!

Excellent stay. Friendly and available host. Careful and carefully decorated place. Access to the jaccuzi that allowed you to relax at the end of the day.

We were there in June 2025 with a larger group and our stay was very great! The house is a dream and equipped with great extras! Whether whirlpool sauna, billiards or cinema room! Everything is great! The kitchen is super equipped and you can feel very comfortable in this great house! We will be happy to come back :)

We immediately felt at home in Laurence's beautiful and cosy Gîte. We were warmly welcomed by Laurence himself on arrival. Everything was well taken care of and we also enjoyed the attentions such as fresh fruit, a few fresh eggs from Laurence's chickens and a bottle of bubbly! The beautiful surroundings are awesome. The Gîte itself is spacious, clean and really equipped with all the comforts. Laurence herself is super sweet and always helpful in everything! A week was actually too short but more than worth it! We enjoyed everything very much and it is repeatable!! Thank you so much dear Laurence for everything!

A remarkable barn for a family appointment for 11 people - the renovation of the place is remarkable / the beautiful furniture/ nothing is missing / you feel at home immediately / and Andy's welcome is really great - thank you again for this beautiful stay

We had a lovely stay at Ariane's, which was very welcoming. The common areas and the bedroom have a lot of charm and are very neat. We're enchanted by details and decor. The Water room is convenient for a family or friends. The village has a lot of charm and allows you to rest in peace. While staying very close to Dijon for a visit.

The six of us spent a long weekend at the Eyerhof and were thrilled with the lovingly designed house. The mixture of modern amenities and old half-timbered house was a great fit. Old charm with modern comfort. The kitchen is super extensively equipped. The two bathrooms are definitely necessary for the number of people and are also practically designed. We enjoyed the time out. Thank you

Beautiful place, not easy to find despite the full description because hidden from two other houses. We had a good stay.

We had a great stay at Celine's! The house is very lovely and made us feel very comfortable there. An ideal home for families or groups of friends. Kids loved this multi-level home to play cache 😁 Celine welcomed us warmly and remained available throughout the stay to accommodate our requests. The house is ideally located for all nature lovers and hikes.

Very cozy and very warm cottage. A cordial welcome from Aurore with a fire in the stove! In short, a beautiful place at the foot of the mountains and always attentive hosts. We would recommend it without restriction.

The place was simply fantastic! Very stylish and furnished with a lot of love for detail – cozy, modern and absolutely comfortable. Nestled in beautiful nature, it is a true oasis of relaxation, perfect for switching off and relaxing. Everything was immaculately clean, especially the bathroom – well maintained. The bed was extremely comfortable, you sleep there like on clouds. I would recommend the place anytime – ideal for a quiet break, whether for two or alone.

the house was well equiped and a great mix of modern comfort and traditional style. We've been here with two families incl. 5 kids. There was enough space for everybody and the kids and adults liked to play Kicker, to cook and BBQing. Can recommend!

The Vaasili cottage is perfect. There were 5 of us and everyone had their place. Clean, very well equipped, quiet, with a lovely view of the garden. We also recommend our host 100%.
