Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Los Sueños Resort and Marina, Playa Herradura

This place was perfect for us. Close enough to walk to the Main Street area to eat but far enough away for peace and quiet. It was nice eating breakfast on the porch, listening to the waves crash on the beach. Antonio was always quick to respond to any questions and to give his opinion on stuff to do locally. I would stay here again if we ever get back to CR. Thanks again for letting us stay at your place.

We had a great stay! The house is located in a private gated community and felt very safe. The house plus casita was large enough that our group of 9 all had their own space. The pool was sparking and even had some floats. Outside was lush and beautiful with some iguanas and we even saw some macaws! Reasonably close to a lot of activities but you will need a car or to Uber. (Ubers were very cheap compared to the states.) A/C worked great and kept the house COLD (unusual for a lot of houses in Central America) especially at night. The highlight of the trip for us though was Melissa. She checked in several times prior to our arrival, met us at the house to show us around and let us in. She arranged a chef that was excellent, reasonably priced, and left us with tons of leftovers. She helped with other excursions and recommendations too. They even decorated the house and got us a cake for my daughter’s 18th birthday! Definitely recommend!

Jose’s home was absolutely beautiful! 10/10 recommend! The place is very secure and easy to go and get too! 100% will be coming back! Super clean and just perfect home. Thank you Jose!

Roger’s place is a gem in Herradura. The backyard is a tropical paradise, so many beautiful birds and wildlife. The pool is beautiful and Roger’s Casa was perfect for me. Very close to the beach and great birding spots. It is a very safe place, nice neighbors, very clean and I enjoyed my stay immensely. Roger is very responsive and proactive. I highly recommend this beautiful house in Herradura.

We had an amazing stay at Sergio’s place! The house was perfect for our family — spacious, comfortable, and with a breathtaking view that honestly felt like a hidden gem. So many people came by the area just to take pictures, and we ended up having our own little photo session with over 100 shots — it was a blast! The minipool/jacuzzi quickly became our favorite hangout spot to cool off after a day at the beach. The bedrooms were roomy and well-equipped with A/C, which made for great nights of sleep. The kitchen had everything we needed (minus an ice cream scoop!), and the large fridge was super convenient for our groceries. Sergio was an exceptional host — responsive, kind, and on top of everything. The wristbands for the beach and club were a great bonus, and we really enjoyed having access to those amenities. Everything was well-coordinated and hassle-free. My family is already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommend Sergio’s place!

Our family stayed for ten nights as a home base to explore the Pacific side of Costa Rica. The pool was fantastic! I especially enjoyed the bottom pool that doubles as hot tub (when my kids weren't in the upper half splashing the cold water into it). The pool is very large with lots of space for splashing, and there is so much wildlife and bird-watching off of the amazing porch and decks. We were mesmerized by the scarlet macaws that flew by and sometimes roosted nearby. Being in the mountains, you are literally in the clouds. It was other-worldly when they rolled in most afternoons. So cool! Indoors: we utilized the kitchen quite frequently, making dinner every night. Kitchen was well stocked with supplies for cooking. The living area was very comfortable and great for watching TV together in the evening. Bathrooms and bedrooms were well-appointed with what we needed, and the washer/dryer was great to have, as we are light packers and did get muddy some days. Overall a wonderful stay!

I had a great time and my girlfriend had a great Birthday Experience in Costa Rica and we will surely be back again.

Everything is as described. The location is perfect, very peaceful and the neighbors are friendly. The villa is in pristine condition, with very few signs of wear. The kitchen is well equipped, everything is super clean. My son enjoyed the big pool and having multiple beaches close by is a great plus.

The photos just can’t capture how beautiful this home is. The property manager, Edgard, and his lovely wife, Maria, met us personally the night we got in to show us around. We could have just stayed in the home and would have been perfectly happy with the scarlet macaws flying by the pool, but Edgard set up top notch tours! 15 min away beautiful beaches with the monkeys RIGHT there! This trip by far surpassed all expectations! Ohmygoodness the chef Jose!!! So freaking good! I literally cannot recommend this home with lovely hosts and above expectations property manager Edgard enough. Safe beautiful lovely people… I miss it already.

The house was beautiful and the area was safe and just gorgeous. The vies from the house were the best I have seen and we have stayed at alot of houses in different countries. The one downfall I felt was that not all the patio doors were allowed to open. I am not sure if that is a safety risk for families with young kids, but we didn't have any young kids. The majority of them did but some of the bedrooms were no allowed to be open. Robert was great, he helped me set up some excursions and was always quick answering my questions. He was there to greet us and help us maneuver the driveway the first time ( that was an adventure). By the second day we had it all figured out and the challenging driveway is what got us up to the house to have those amazing views. The pool was great to come home to after sight seeing all day. Its gorgeous at night with all the lights, We saw lots of macaws and even the wild pigs came down by the pool desk one night. So all in all I would go back !!

Rebecca was an amazing host, super helpful and kind. The house was beautiful, super clean and looked just like the pictures.

This is a professionally managed property in a gated condo community. The staff and management are friendly and communicate well. I stayed for about a month and found the property vey well maintained, and any little problems were immediately addressed. The security guards knew me after the first day and made me feel welcome, as well as safe. The wifi was fast and reliable, I was able to continue working for my company in Canada without a hiccup. Quite a few expats have permanent residences in this condo, so it feels like a community. They were warm and friendly as well. I stayed in #9: the furnishings and finishings are newer, modern, and the kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need to feel at home. The beach and the town are nearby, I did not have a car for most of my stay and did not take a taxi once. If you are looking for a home away from home, with the ability to work remotely while enjoying Playa Jaco, this is a great option.

A highly recommended place for families. The kitchen was super well equipped and we found everything we needed to be comfortable. Communication with the host and manager was very good at all times. I would definitely stay again.

I just wanna start off by saying that the pictures did not do this place justice. The environment is absolutely breathtaking and it was a much needed place to relax. I really enjoyed and appreciated how well the host communicated with me prior to our stay and during our stay. There was never a moment when they didn’t respond and they worked very hard to meet our needs. I would definitely love to stay in this location again. If you’d love to relax, look at beautiful scenery, and enjoy being around wildlife, I would highly recommend this spot. We were able to watch the monkeys in their natural environment, macaws, toucans, vultures, and iguanas. Definitely a vacation I would never forget!

Very very beautiful home , we felt very safe with the gate , there was more than enough room and everything we needed was there ‼️‼️

There were 15 of us, and the kids had a great time. It is a quiet, comfortable, very nice place and in contact with nature. A little haven of peace😊.

We specifically chose to stay here for the view..it was spectacular. It's a very peaceful place located in a small, town. If you only want to relax this is a great spot. The home was clean, had everything you would need. There are insects here and there in the home, but that's a given due to the location. It didn't bother us. Getting there for us was a bit challenging, especially if you plan to visit other surrounding areas. We visited La Fortuna one night and it took us about 2.5hrs to drive 38 miles, to give you an idea of how the roads are there. I would recommend a 4x4. Beware of the occasional fog, another element that made it difficult for us at times to drive in. Driving around there is not for the weak. I enjoyed our time there and the view was worth it. Everyone we encountered there was very gracious and helpful. whenever we needed anything or had any questions! We appreciated the hospitality!

The location was very nice, close to San José but absolutely in the green. You have a great view, a large bathroom and a small kitchen that has everything you need. Due to our flight delay, we arrived later than expected and were very happy about the fast communication and the flexibility that made this possible :). We especially liked the natural pool! We would come back, highly recommended!

The place is beautiful,very quiet and away from the noise of the city. Everything was very clean and the owner was quick to answer any questions.... I definitely plan to return

The space is beautiful, full of nature, dragonflies, butterflies and birds. Although the hot water for the jacuzzi stopped for a moment and became cold, the experience was beautiful.

Great get away place to stay at and surrounded by nature.

Loved this spot for a night on the road. Very dog friendly and peaceful- we’ll be back for sure.
