Monthly Rentals in Luchera

You know when you feel as comfortable as if you were at home? Here, even better, the house is wonderful, located in a beautiful village, in the heart of Garfagnana, not far from the sea, but with the tranquility of the half mountain. Nothing to complain about, Riccardo was very kind and helpful. I would gladly go back, this time for trekking in the surroundings, where there is no shortage of ideas.

My husband, four kids & I all stayed at Mara’s as a base to see Florence, Pisa and other surrounding areas. On top of being a picturesque location, their home was tidy, welcoming and charming. We got to their home later than anticipated, yet they waited on & welcomed us warmly, with understanding and patience. The internet and porch light were out when we got there, but were fixed in a timely manner. I would highly recommend their beautiful home in the mountains to anyone looking for a lovely stay in Italy.

A beautiful traditional village home. Incredible views of the surrounding mountains. A fantastic base if your are a walker looking to explore this region. Very quiet at night. Had a great nights sleep.

We enjoyed a brief stay here at the start of August. The house is full of Italian charm, it's traditional and a little rustic but it was really nice. There are tiles on the floor and some nice pieces of furniture. It was spacious enough for our family of four. The stairs are a little steep but okay for us, there was a stair gate at the top if needed but we didn't use it. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of storage for our clothes. It was really nice to have some oil, salt, sugar, coffee, jams and biscuits for us to use. It is annoying having to buy all the basics so that was a nice touch from the host. The place was clean and we had everything we needed although a fan might have been nice. The view of the stream out the back is lovely. There were a few mosquitoes but not many. It is remote, you do need a car to get around but that was fine for us. It's a nice location of you want to explore by car. Parking was closed by.
