Medieval Fort, Sud Ardèche stunning loft with pool

Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . There is full access to the large garden including an 10mx4m in-ground heated swimming pool .

Towels, sheets and breakfast products provided - Not suitable for children under 5 years old. Quiet, surrounded by nature. Starting point for walks; On foot: 500 m from the small village (bakery, grocery store, bar); River 5 minutes away - By car: Mont Gerbier/Sources de la Loire 0h30; Chauvet Cave/Pont d'Arc 1h15.

The yurt of the two rivers

It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to our yurt located in the heart of nature. Built with ecological materials, furnished with care, it is located 100m from the river and its large sandy beach, in one of the most beautiful valleys of Ardèche ! The 20m2 yurt can easily accommodate two adults and two children. A wooden house of 15m2 is also dedicated to you with kitchen, bathroom, toilet and, as a bonus, a view of the river!

Cabane perchée "Coconou-labahia"

With a superb view of the river, charming cabin composed of a large room with a sleeping area and kitchen, perched, surrounded by nature, sun and rest, close to farm animals. Cleaning is done by guests, bed linen and towels are not provided. (From the Loriol exit on the A7 motorway, allow 1 hour 20 minutes). You have access to the La Fontaulière River (fishing, swimmable).

L'oustaou

Small cocoon of love, with magnificent views, 6 km from Aubenas. This shelter was self-built with eco-friendly materials. The walls are made of straw, wood and earthen coating. Beautiful wooden terrace, where it's nice to rest. A dirt road starts from the Oustaou for a short walk, and many other walks all around. Descriptions of hikes possible inside.

Le Montadou

Atypical, view of the fortress of Saint Montan. Classified as a Village of Character. 20 minutes to the Ardèche gorges. Apartment, in our house, terrace. Possibility of loaning a baby bed or extra bed in the room. You also have a children's playground 50 meters away. Free Wi-Fi, Bouygues box and Netflix

Nature eco-lodge

Wooden cottage, fully equipped (TV, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave) very quiet, magnificent views of the Ardèche mountains. We have fitted a green roof and we have just installed a solar water heater as well as 9KWc of solar panels (on our house) to be self-sufficient.
