The property is available on a self-catered or fully catered basis, and its six bedrooms can accommodate up to fourteen friends or family members.
A self-catered holiday at Chalet Valentine includes daily housekeeping; a fully catered stay includes six days of chef service; a host at breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner; a driver and two days of ski instruction. The villa has a range of amenities to both invigorate and soothe, from a barrel sauna and hot tub to an indoor hammam. Gather around the outdoor firepit for roasted marshmallows and hot cocoa, or around the foosball table in the games room for a little friendly competition. A home theater with satellite TV and a sound system throughout the villa will satisfy technophiles, while the stunning mountain views will more than please nature lovers.
This vacation rental may have been built recently, but it takes its inspiration from chalets of the past, featuring stone walls, peaked rooflines and pretty cutouts in its wooden railings. The living spaces are chic yet comfortable, filled with sofas and chairs in a warm mix of red, green and cream, all tucked around a fireplace. Both the living room and dining room look out toward the French Alps; the fully equipped kitchen can be closed off for guests’ privacy during a fully catered stay.
Each of the six bedrooms at Chalet Valentine has a double bed, and all but one have en-suite bathrooms. Beautiful details such as sloped ceilings, wood paneling and patterned fabrics give the suites an irresistible blend of sophisticated style and Alpine warmth. For larger parties or families traveling with children, there’s an additional bedroom with twin bunk beds that shares a bathroom with one of the double bedrooms.
With friendly villages, postcard-worthy forested scenery and one of the largest ski areas in Europe spread over the Trois Vallées, the Méribel area is a wonderful choice for a family trip, ski break with friends or even an active honeymoon. Chalet Valentine is just steps from the nearest slope and a short drive from the Parc Olympique and its ski lift, where you can try your skills on the trails used in the 1992 Winter Games. For shopping and dining, make the drive into the center of Méribel, which has bakeries and farmers’ markets alongside upscale boutiques.
