The space
As you enter the grounds of Stone Manor and edge up the immense driveway, tiled in bright natural stone, and passing leafy lemon trees, just one glimpse of the home will reveal that you’re in for something special. This classic California mansion, composed of elegant stone and masonry sits on 3 acres of land where carefully landscaped gardens and forest present comfort and tranquility throughout.
A peaceful pergola patio shelters an al fresco dining set under a rustic chandelier. Follow a lovely waterfall feature that descends between a picturesque double set of steps and ends in the crisp blue water of the pool. Take walks along the tiled paths through rolling lawns and terraced gardens, where the inspiring view of Paradise Cove is always in sight. A back deck holds an additional al fresco dining area and lounge set, perfect for gathering your guests for sunset cocktails. Sizzle up something special on the outdoor grill or practice your hole-in-ones on the five hole putting green.
The natural world follows you inside, where quartzite floors, fireplaces, flower displays and oceanic artifacts adorn the house. Carefully selected rattan chairs, antique furnishings and custom-made cabinetry and shelves further add to Stone Manor’s charm. French doors allow air to circulate freely as you make your way through the open concept kitchen and dining area. Create memorable meals on high-end appliances in the gourmet kitchen and serve it at the dining table that seats up to ten. The main living room features plush sofas flanked by a grand piano and imposing fireplace. A second living area serves as the media room where you can relax with a movie or connect to the home’s Wi-Fi.
Up to ten guests will sleep comfortably in Stone Manor’s five bedrooms, each one individually decorated with soft linens, a flatscreen television and timeless antique touches. The Master suite features a California King size bed, plus its own living room, fireplace, private terrace and en-suite bathroom with jetted tub and shower. The remaining rooms have access to the home’s five bathrooms.
You’ll be close to the best of Malibu. Paradise Cove Beach Café, ideal for people watching, is just five minutes away. Other restaurants and shops, as well as an excellent selection of beaches can also be reached quickly by car. When it’s time to explore the glamour and glitz of Los Angeles, just hop on the highway; Rodeo Drive, Hollywood and downtown L.A. are all about 40 miles away.
