The space
Villa High Hopes is an extraordinary luxury home on the Split Riviera of Croatia, situated within minutes of the town and beach of Makaraska. Perched on a lofty hillside at the foot of Biokovo Mountain, the villa gazes out on breathtaking, panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea. Superb amenities for relaxation and dining include a swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, fitness room, billiard room, alfresco dining, and a gourmet kitchen. The 300-square meter home features four ample bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, ideal for families and groups of friends up to eight in size.

The two-story home includes ample outdoor living areas on both levels, inspiring long days and evenings in the open air. On the main terrace, an elevated hot tub and voluminous swimming pool welcome soothing soaks under the sun or moon. The shaded veranda, beside the hot tub, features a rustic barbecue grill and alfresco dining table for eight. A lofty terrace off the master suite boasts a comfortable lounge and sublime views of the coastline and sea.

The modern interiors enjoy the spectacular views through ample windows and wide glass doors, which infuse the entire home with natural light and sea-kissed air. A gorgeous dining table for eight is perched beside the alfresco table, forming a lovely venue for dinner parties. The living room features a comfy sectional sofa and high-end TV, while the separate billiard room includes a pool table amid an evocative, saloon-style ambiance.

The bedrooms offer enchanting private havens for downtime and slumber, ideal for couples or individual travelers. There are three suites with king beds and one with a queen. All four rooms enjoy direct access to an outdoor living area, and all have ensuite bathrooms. There is also a satellite TV in each room.

The villa is minutes from several enchanting beaches, while the vast Nature Park Biokovo extends inland from the shore, with wonderful hiking trails. You're also just a few minutes from route 8, leadin up and down the Split Riviera and Adriatic Coast. The city of Split is about 60 kilometers away.
