Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lucerne

Even though we arrived later than the originally scheduled check-in time, the host was very worried that we might not be able to find the house and waited for us until check-in. The host is very kind and thoughtful. The condition of the accommodation is impeccable, and the scenery is even more beautiful than that.. (Actually, I talked about the scenery alone. It looks like a composite even though I'm looking at it with my own eyes. I was really satisfied with the sauna facilities. If the surroundings are too dark, it may be difficult to find, so please pay attention to the check-in time! If you are late like us, you will suffer a lot. We had the pleasure of staying at Theres' lovely home for three days, and what a peaceful little getaway it was! We had to make a few changes to our booking, and she was super kind and flexible about it—something we really appreciated. She even picked us up from the station, which was such a thoughtful gesture! Theres is truly a kind soul, and her home reflects that warmth. The place is serene, surrounded by beautiful views that instantly put you at ease. The rooms were spotless, the furniture cozy, and the kitchen had more utensils than we knew what to do with! We felt right at home and are already looking forward to coming back again.

Apart from our little mishaps with the luggage, which partially ruined our holiday, the place itself was nice — a welcome escape from the busy city to the peaceful quiet of the mountains with a view.

We just spent our third stay in Séverine and Fabien's house, and we don't get tired of his exceptional view of the lake and mountains. The layout is also very comfortable, in good weather and in bad weather, and the surrounding area offers various activities that are all more fantastic than each other (mountain walks, swimming in the lake, music festival in Lucerne in August...Paradise...). Thank you also to our hosts for their extreme availability, their responsiveness, and their flexibility on the times of arrival and departure. This stay has been, like the previous ones, an enchantment that we hope to be able to renew in the coming months or next year.

The location is totally idyllic. Viktor's directions were good, but our car-gps and google maps also led to the house, which was also great and everything worked. We could probably find a cabin with cheaper price, but the location is great, but also convenient to drive to Lucern, Zug, Zūrich and Chur, which were our holiday towns. Good communication from Viktor and co..

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin in Emmetten, Switzerland! The home was spotless, tastefully decorated, and located in a stunning area with incredible views. The owner was exceptionally helpful and responsive, providing us with detailed recommendations for things to do and places to explore. One note is the house has a 100L daily limit on hot water, which resets overnight. For our group of six, we managed just fine by limiting our shower times and getting shower early in morning while the water heater was still on. It’s something to keep in mind if you’re staying with more than four people. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience! The combination of the gorgeous home, perfect location, and excellent host made our trip unforgettable. We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Me and my boyfriend André spent 4 days here. The apartment location is amazing and the apartment itself had everything we needed! The check in process was easy and the communication with our host Martin was quick via the airbnb app. We are so pleased with our stay here! We highly recommend it to others.

The accommodation is neat, very clean and is fully equipped. One place from which you can make different excursions in the beautiful surroundings. Furthermore, in the area, nearby, sufficient facilities for shopping.

Great place great host

everything was perfect! Dan is a very good host. always proactively communicating, very friendly and cooperative and showing willingness to help even for matters not related to the room! the only downside is that the floor is squeaking making a big noise which made my friend downstairs wake up from his sleep. other than this everything was peefect!

It was the best aparment for upto 5 people. For us Cleaning kithchen was big task to do on Holidays. It ws first time to use AIR BNB. I will reconsider taking airbnb next time as lot of energy needed to do cleaning after coming home and making food. However the place was very nice to stay.

Kind and helpful hostess. Chalé Suiço located in a place, bucolic and beautiful place. From the balcony you can see snowy peaks bypassing a beautiful lake. You need to be in a car. There are many animals on the property. Tìpica Alpina landscape. I will miss the place.

Ray's has an amazing special hostel and it's truly great to stay here! I stayed for only one night, but when I came in, I was instantly greeted and given a tour of the house which is very luxurious! It was great meeting the other people staying there and the view in the morning is truly amazing! I will definitely come back next time I stay in Switzerland!

The cottage was beautiful! Ideal for the skiers who want to ski directly from home. House was very clean! Esther was very helpful and you can definitely count on her!

Our stay was truly beyond our expectations. We enjoyed our host and family and had all of the things we wanted and needed. We were able to get to local places easily, had a comfortable bed and room, and were able to use the kitchen to make a few of our meals. We felt right at home. The beautiful surroundings were so peaceful we enjoyed a rainy afternoon in the sunroom.

We absolutely loved our stay! The location right by the Rigi Cog station made it easy to get up and down the mountain. The wood-fired hot tub made for a perfect spot to soak up the view each evening. Our hosts provided wonderful information prior-to and during our stay. Highly recommend!

Great spot, nice view and people

Hosts are very helpful understanding and kind. You can ask anything with them. Maggie showed me the house and she is warm-hearted. Rainer is interesting and responsible. And the guests was all Americans, they invited me to play games, which is very fun and they were very nice and friendly. I recommend those want to make friends or travel pals to try this. And it is so worth it. Love you guys!

Priskus and Silvia were wonderful hosts - they were very friendly and welcoming to us. We availed of their Swiss breakfast and it was one of the best meals we had in Switzerland! The location was around an hour drive from larger cities like Lucerne, Zurich and St Gallen and we found the location to be convenient, but also quiet enough (away from the bustle of busier areas). It had a great mountain view and several good restaurants and bakeries nearby. A lovely place to stay at!

We had a short but wonderful stay at Rainier’s place!! Super clean and the bed was SO comfy! They even kindly upgraded us to a private room free of charge! Would highly recommend for a friendly place to stay, especially as a solo traveler looking to meet new people.
