Holiday rentals with a patio in Lucerne

THIS IS A HIDDEN GEM…. PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!!!! You cannot find a more beautiful place, a more respectful, responsive and hospitable hosts and staff, a cleaner apartment and a more stunning sunset in anywhere else ! The location is great and very peaceful with walking and hiking paths all around, and about 20 minutes away from Luzern ! I can not thank Nathalie and her dad, Mr. Hoffman enough for making our one month stay at their place comfortable, enjoyable and memorable! Our dog was also warmly welcomed and had an amazing time ! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AND WOULD LOVE TO GO BACK TO IT AGAIN!

We had a great stay here for 4 days. The place is very nice, spacious, clean and comfortable. It was also nice having the extra half bathroom. On a different note, a washing machine and dryer is listed in the amenities, but you have to pay to use them. This was not mentioned. Quiet time starts at 10 pm and with that the hot water is shut off. If this was listed in the description, I would rate this a 10/10 place. I still highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

The place was great. We love being near the shopping center and all the information that was provided in the apartment. It was perfect for two moms going on a hiking trip with college age sons we were able to cook our breakfast and have coffee. It was perfect.

Amazing views, nice apartment, close to the town. About 30 min drive to Lucerne. Would stay here again.

Una has a very beautiful apartment. Well equipped with all essential items. The location was around 15 mins bus ride from Luzern center. There were many restaurants and supermarkets just opposite to the apartment. Una was also a great host. Very proactive and takes good care of the guests. In terms of improvements, we felt a bit difficult to locate the apartment initially as Google maps showed the backside of the apartment. Perhaps a detailed instruction guide of accessing the apartment and the keys can help. Also, some hotels provide a Luzern guest card on overnight stay that makes the public transport free. It will be of great help to guests if Una can make arrangements for similar guest cards. Nevertheless, it was a great experience and we definitely recommend booking Una's place to all visitors coming to Luzern!

Perfect location - only a few steps away from the bus stop. Nestled among beautiful fields with amazing views. Roger is a great host, very responsive and extremely personable. We really enjoyed our stay!

The stay at Martina’s place was wonderful. Right from check-in where she allowed us to drop off our luggage early to giving us a ride back to the ferry terminal after checkout, everything was perfect. The space is well equipped and had more than necessary things that made our stay comfortable. The kitchen has a really nice coffee machine that was perfect to wake up to and sip it while enjoying the views from the balcony. Martina’s hospitality is exceptional and she made sure we were well taken care of throughout our stay. Weggis is such a charming town and I’m glad to have found the perfect place to spend a few days here.

A wonderful cottage with magnificent panoramic views of Lake Lucerne and the mountains. It was very quiet and relaxing. The terrace and bedroom windows all have lake views. The cottage was sparkling clean and practically and comfortably furnished. We felt right at home. We cooked a lot and everything worked. Denise has always communicated very kindly and clearly and responded quickly. A car is strongly recommended, as the house is at the top of the slope and public transport does not run often. We can highly recommend this cottage.

Loved our stay, truly beautiful home and perfect for our family (2 adult couples couples and a family of 3 with 6 year old). Child friendly with safe bedding and available books and toys to play with. Great location 5 minutes from train station and 2 blocks walk from COOP grocery store. A few things to get used to as being from USA appliances are slightly different, but we knew that ahead of time. Also thankful for the previous review that mentioned needing to buy additional toilet paper if staying more than a few days, it was easy to pick up with our groceries. Hosts were very responsive and kind with the questions we had. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will remember our trip fondly and our stay here.

We had an amazing stay! The view was unbelievably beautiful! The home had all of the amenities we needed and comfortable beds! It was walkable to the bus stop. Yi-Tai and her husband were very responsive and helpful to us!

I stayed here with my wife and 2 young children for 6 nights. We had a lovely stay and found it to be a great location to explore Luzern and central Switzerland via public transport. We bought a Swiss travel pass and went out on excursions every day. The house is about a 10 minute walk from the nearest trains station and about the same to the supermarket. There a play parks nearby and a small shopping centre. Check-in was easy and communication great from Julia and Daniel. The kids loved playing with the cats and chickens in the lovely garden when we were in and they enjoyed checking for eggs every day (they were delicious!).

Adrian's place is stunning. It's a perfect spot for our family vacation- central to all that we wanted to accomplish. Off the beaten path in a very secluded quiet location. Great walks right out the door. Watched a brilliant sunset over Lucerne as we settled in for a fire along the hillside one evening. Enjoyed watching the local Shepard move sheep from one field to another. Adrian was a great host with excellent recommendations and even took the time to show us around the property. We would love to come back again. As commented before- the approach road to the community is very narrow but with a small car you get used to it after a few passes. I came to appreciate it as part of what makes this property extra ordinary and beautiful. Thank you Adrian for opening your home to visitors from Seattle.

This place was beautiful! It’s such a peaceful spot with amazing views of the lake and quite accessible to lots to do (assuming you have a car). Everything was very clean and it felt brand new. The amenities were great, there was even a washer/dryer! Everything is automated - lights, AC, blinds. For Europe, having AC in the summer is a must and was really important to us, so we were glad that it worked seamlessly. Riad was also a great host, communicated very well and responded promptly.

A cozy place to stay with wonderful views in the mountains. The kitchen is well equipped, living room very spacious. The balcony lets you linger, the seating area also has a barbecue area. We found everything in very clean condition. The explanations were supportive and easy to understand, the contact very friendly and uncomplicated. We will be happy to come back.

A special appreciation goes to his wife for going the extra mile to make us feel so welcome — her kindness truly stood out and made a lasting impression. The house was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, which made our stay incredibly pleasant and convenient. We truly felt at home and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

What a view! This was such a peaceful home to stay in. It was perfect for our family. We cooked a few dinners at the house and had a few dinners. Our host recommended renting a car as local bus doesn’t always run when you need it. I would recommend renting a car for this location as uber isn’t always available and it’s a hike up the mountain with luggage. We would definitely stay here again.

They stay at Simon's was wonderful. Simon was very helpful and we really liked the flat with the terrace and the view. The kitchen was very well equipped, even with some food that we could take. We would recommend Simon's place to anyone.

We had an amazing time at Maya’s. It was spacious and well equipped. The deck was amazing for breakfast and/or dinner. Such a nice location as well. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone and would stay again anytime!

Malgorzata is an extremely prompt and clear communicator! It was a pleasure to deal with her. She was upfront about potential minor noise, and even offered a last minute discount. We spent a happy week in her well furnished apartment in the mountains. At the discounted rate, we felt the apartment offered great value as well. Malgorzata was quick to resolve any minor issues. Overall, a great stay. 4.5/5
