Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lyme

This place was a great find. The check in was smooth., and the place had amazing character and old world charm. I cant wait to go back when the renovations are complete.

Joseph was a great host and was very responsive. The house was as described. They have very clear instructions on how to handle the house and where things are located. That alone made things easier. Overall, we all enjoyed our stay and would stay again if ever in the area. Definitely worth the stop!

This is a lovely home on a quiet street. Four of us stayed here for a long-weekend birthday celebration and found it charming. We had hot weather one day and enjoyed using the large barbecue and eating in the screened pavilion. Another day was chilly, so the gas-lit woodstove was enjoyed. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and the furnishings were very comfy. We enjoyed the view from the sunporch, even when it was rainy. Thanks, Susan for a cozy stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The three-bedroom, two-bathroom house was clean, spacious, and incredibly well-stocked with everything we needed. The bathrooms were thoughtfully supplied with plenty of toiletries, towels, and even hairdryers, which was a really nice touch. The kitchen had everything we could want—including a Keurig with coffee pods. The location on the water was absolutely stunning, providing peaceful views and a great spot to unwind. There was a shed full of games like cornhole, which added to the fun, and while we didn’t get a chance to use the pedal boat or kayaks, it was great knowing they (and life preservers) were available for us. Overall, a perfect getaway spot—we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this adorable lake house on Ontario Lake. The location is truly exceptional—situated right on the water, it offered breathtaking views and picture-perfect sunsets each evening. The setting was peaceful, private, and ideal for a relaxing escape. The home itself had a unique charm, with a few characterful quirks typical of a lakeside cottage, none of which detracted from the comfort or tranquility of our stay. The host provided a well-organized and helpful guidebook, which included clear instructions for the house and thoughtful recommendations for local attractions and dining. Overall, this was a delightful and restorative retreat, and we would gladly return. Highly recommended for those seeking serenity and natural beauty in a cozy lakeside setting.

We had such a great stay!! the flat is so cozy, you feel like you’re at a cottage in the country - but downtown is a quick and lovely walk away. Would definitely stay here again. You can’t go wrong staying at this lovely Bnb! So comfortable and had everything we needed. Super quiet and smack dab right in the middle of everything! Waking up to see City Hall out of our bedroom window was awesome. Beside all of that? Sid is an awesome, warm and kind man! We opened a new store in Kingston and he dropped in and supported us by buying a gift certificate. Can’t say enough about the whole experience! Fantastic!

This is a wonderful little rental on an absolutely stunning property. Top of the line amenities- everything you could ever need to live comfortably:washer/dryer, dishwasher, modern kitchen, really strong wifi, and two smart TVs with all the streaming options- but it still manages to feel like you are staying in a secluded cabin in the mountains. Gorgeous acreage with beautiful views and deer who visit every day. Quick drive into Watertown on well maintained roads. My dog was in heaven here! By far the best thing about this Airbnb is the host- Andrea. She is amazing. You would be hard pressed to find a lovelier, more helpful, more proactive host anywhere on this site. I am so glad to have found this place and met her! I travel for work and have stayed in many airbnbs all across the country and this is one of my top 3 bookings of all time.

I had the pleasure of staying at Stephanie's place for several weeks. As a host, Steph is warm, welcoming, and kind. She's an excellent communicator and seems to anticipate your needs. The air bnb is attractive, clean, and well laid out. It has everything you need for a short or long-term stay. The space looks and feels larger than the pictures portray. I had my dog with me, and we enjoyed daily walks around the pretty neighborhood. The grocery store is a 5 minute drive. Restaurants and shops are 15 minutes away in downtown Kingston. Steph's place is on the bus line if you want to skip the metered parking in town. I highly recommend this air bnb and hope to return.

We really appreciated a number of things about our stay: the dog-friendly aspect, including a fenced yard; the residential location within walking distance of parks and waterfront, as well as downtown restaurants and museum; the well-equipped kitchen; parking on site; and Andrew’s kind extension of checkout time when unseasonable weather made waiting for the other outside with our dog less comfortable than hoped for.

Kristine is a nice host and the place looks exactly as in the photos. The bed is very comfortable and it is best to accommodate a couple. The sofa bed however is not recommend to use for sleeping as its rather small. Besides I found that there were some bed sheets which were not totally dry left in the dryer and probably due to the cleaner not fully aware of. Access to the house is super easy though. All in all, a super host and Cozy place that I would recommend.

It was perfect for us. It is small, but truly cozy and comfortable, perfect for 2 adults. As it was mid to late March in the north country we loved the fireplace and used it almost every night! The apartment was neat, clean, orderly and had everything we needed! If we go back to that area we will definitely look to rent there again!!
