The Birdhouse

MaiteRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Ricky-Ann's cottage. The cottage is extremely cozy, and very nicely decorated. Everything you can need is here. It's wonderful to sit by the pellet stove. From the bed under the roof you look through the Velux to a roof of trees. The cottage is directly against the forest, so you can fully enjoy birds and squirrels. The seating area is very nice. You will be in beautiful nature reserves, and also the village with a shop, station... is close by. Top location. Ricky-Ann is very hospitable, she creates a very warm nest for her guests. Thank you Ricky-Ann, we'd love to come back!

Entire Canal apartment at historic CityCenter

Mandy was such an accomodating host and was very responsive to our communication. We really enjoyed our stay at her quaint abode which was promixal to everything you will need (Grocery, Bars, Restaurants, Bike Hire etc). It was fully equipped for our nearly week long stay and Mandy had really nice recommendations for places we might require. Definitely would recommend staying at Mandy’s and looking forward to staying again when I’m next in town.

Cozy barn

AnnemarieRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Hilde's blue barn is a wonderful place to stay. Very cozy, comfortable, excellently equipped kitchen, beautiful garden, wonderful beds, nice shower and so on. Hilde is very hospitable and you immediately feel completely at home. You slept wonderfully while slowly waking up in the morning to the whistling birds. We came for a long weekend, but you want to live here. Great place to discover the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Maarn is a good base. The barn is super quiet at the end of the road and within walking distance of the bakery and other shops. Hilde is a great host. Responds quickly and is very flexible. This allowed us to check out later than 11:00 a.m. so we could still have a nice walk. We will definitely come back!!

Nice cabin in a quiet place under the trees

TijmenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had 3 wonderful nights in Elsbeth's cottage. Located at the back of a campsite and surrounded by greenery. Very peaceful and quiet. Excellent base for visiting Amersfoort and Utrecht. Nice sitting area, excellent complete kitchen, lounge furniture for outside, wifi, etc is all present. Very nice! Good to know: - The bed is (as advertised) a bit small, please keep this in mind. - I am 1.90m tall and in the shower my head hit the ceiling. For even taller people, it can be difficult - Bring your own bedding and towels

Cottage

We, Hennie, the dogs and I had a wonderful Ascension weekend at the sheepfold. The sheepfold is surrounded by lots of greenery and animals, and there is a seat by the pond, a wonderful place to relax. The sheepfold is a cozy cottage and equipped with all comforts. We were very surprised by a well-stocked fridge with lots of fresh fruit, tasty cheese and even a glass of wine. The WiFi works perfectly. Our four-legged friends were very welcome and enjoyed all the greenery and animals. Anthonie provided a warm welcome and we can look back on a few fantastic days. Thank you.

B&B De Bosrand

AlejandroRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Frank’s cottage is exactly as pictured—cozy, serene, and just a two-minute stroll from the sprawling Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park. Frank’s genuine warmth shines through every interaction from the very first encounter, he’s available if you need anything, and up for a friendly chat that turns ordinary stays into golden moments. The space itself is peaceful and uncluttered, giving you the freedom to unwind fully after a day on your bike or exploring the forest trails. If you find yourself in Driebergen-Rijsenburg, this is a stop you won’t want to miss.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay in the really tasteful & furnished with great attention to detail accommodation. Everything was super clean, in the kitchen we lacked nothing. The bed was very comfortable and the view of nature was very calming. A special highlight for us was the sauna and the spacious bathtub.

We were 6 people for two nights in this fantastically beautiful accommodation. The space is completely sufficient, with a large living area and 2 extra separate sleeping berths with double beds. The house is very special and an absolute highlight. In addition, the landlords are extremely helpful and nice. Thank you for the wonderful time we were able to spend with you :) we will definitely come back again
