Guesthouse on private tennis court, near nature reserve.

We have a detached guesthouse in the back of our property, 50 meters behind our house and our private tennis court. Perfect location for visiting Utrecht and Amsterdam (10 and 40 minutes by train, and station is within walking distance). Also ideal for cycling and hiking tours because we are at the National Park “Utrechtse Heuvelrug”. The rental is incl. max. 2 hours (per day) use of our tennis court. Please indicate in advance if you want to play tennis. Bicycles can be safely stored here.

This pleasantly equipped holiday bungalow is situated in Maarn on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park. The house is situated in a quiet location and has a terrace and a large woodland garden. This pretty natural environment offers several possibilities such as uwalks, bike rides and visits to various cities and villages, castles, gardens and museums. Near to the apartment is the Henschotermeer, a natural pond in the middle of hills surrounded by white sandy beaches and green sunbathing area.

Around the corner you walk into the forest and also you can find within a walking distance the park, supermarkets, shops and restaurants. Busses to Utrecht, Vianen, trainstaton Driebergen-zeist, Amersfoort, Wijk bij Duurstede and Wageningen are within 2 to 5 min walking distance. It's a 20 min bus ride to Utrecht center ('t Neude). Also close to the central highway (A12).

The recently renovated "Guesthouse De Hucht " is a great place to really relax....with a large veranda and spacious views of the garden. To relax, there is also a private wellness. Our beautiful cottage is located in the old village near Castle Amerongen. Ideal for hikers, cyclists, motorcyclists and mountain bikers! It is a detached cottage, in the style of the tobacco barns of the area, with a private entrance, lovely bed, kitchen, luxury NEW bathroom with rain shower and cozy porch (with wood stove!) and views of the green of our backyard. Windmill Maurik Betuwe Gelderland

Our beautiful windmill was built on the remains of a medieval castle in 1873. In 2006 the mill was fully renovated. You will have a comfortable stay in the mill which is surrounded by a beautiful garden. Maurik is a charming village, very centrally located between larger cities like Utrecht, Den Bosch, Arnhem and Nijmegen. The area is very suitable for cycling, hiking and swimming.
