From this perfectly located home base, everything is within reach. The city center of Utrecht is a few kilometers away by bike. The Maarsseveense lakes are within walking distance and the nature reserve around Molenpolder is around the corner. Fantastic area for cycling or hiking or even swimming in open water. Fort de Klop and Fort Gagel are nearby. There are also a number of castles nearby that are more than worth visiting. The picturesque town of Maarssen is 4 km away.

De Boomgaard (The Orchard) is in the walled garden of an 18th-century house on the legendary Vecht River, where Dutch country life was born. The b&b is a complete cottage of great charm and comfort. Guests have their own entrance, with free parking a few steps from the door. They have their own entirely private bathroom and kitchen.

Eilandseind, translated as islands end, is an island with a beautiful round wooden cabin on it! ...well, it's the last stretch of a kilometer long peninsula in midst of nature. Only reachable by (electric) boat, which is provided. Pure freedom, tranquility, romance in the dutch wilderness. A good reason why dutchies like to have staycations. A hidden outside space with a generous inside to celebrate nature and each other.

The studio is entirely for the tenant and is separate from our family house. The studio is accessible from the garden and has its own entrance with a staircase to the first floor. The garden has space to park 1 car for free during your stay.

Our loft is located in the center of Maarssen village in the Utrecht region (middle of the country) and within walking distance of the Vecht, which is also easy to reach for people who come by boat.
