The Baita dell'Est is much more than just a place to stay – it is a place full of peace, magic and loving details. The cottage is fantastically located, stylishly furnished and offers a real experience with the whirlpool and the view. We came for the 5th anniversary - and got much more than just a nice place to stay. We have collected memories that will remain. What made this stay so special was Nicola. His cordiality, reliability and tips complemented everything perfectly. You can tell right away: there's a real heart in it. We can especially recommend a breakfast at the Pasticceria Mastai in Chiavenna - heavenly! The surroundings also invite you to explore - nature, small alleys, good food. This place was perfect for our two nights in Lake Como! Could not beat that view and the hot tub was fantastic after a long day of exploring. Host was easy to reach and had good instructions for check in. Would highly recommend a visit to Orrido di Vezio for a small hike and visit to the castle not too far away. All in all you couldn’t ask for anything more

It was just right for a little getaway. I was able to refuel super; the surroundings and the house were a dream. I felt very comfortable right away. Andy was always very helpful and hospitable, thank you for everything. I can highly recommend the place. I would love to come back - next time with my family.

Exceptional host, exceptional place! We loved our stay in Wild Field Lodge and, as hosts ourselves, greatly appreciated the thoughtful amenities available throughout the property. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids under 5, and so it’s tricky to find accommodations that are actually relaxing, let alone loaded with toys and kid entertainment. This place is serene, fun, well equipped, and beautiful. The host’s communication and generosity were outstanding. You can feel the love invested in this property, and that makes for a very special life experience. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed the place very much. The nice thing was: Our dogs were also very welcome. The rooms were just sufficient from the square, but the garden is huge and the private swimming pool leaves nothing to be desired. The large outdoor kitchen is perfect for grilling, cooking and getting together. We would recommend the place right away and are already considering when we will go again:)

We had a wonderful time in Greta's accommodation. Even if the ascent was associated with effort, it was definitely worth it. The view is beautiful and you are in perfect peace and quiet. We would be happy to come back anytime 😊

Our stay at Alp Arami was fantastically beautiful! Exactly what we were looking for and booked. The accommodation was as described: quiet, clean, well equipped (except for frying pan and kitchen knife) and everything worked smoothly. The surroundings are simply magical! Forests, mountains and the soothing sound of cowbells. Perfect for hiking, switching off and letting your soul wander. The journey is a bit adventurous but absolutely feasible for experienced drivers. From the parking lot, a 500m footpath leads uphill to the Rusticco. If you're looking for peace and nature, this is the place to be. Jana was a wonderful host! Warm, attentive and helpful. You can feel how much joy and love she puts into this special place! We would have loved to stay longer and will definitely come back!

The accommodation is beautifully located in the Valle di Mello and for the children the surroundings are great for playing.

We felt very comfortable. Anna was always available for questions. Check-in and check-out were great through the hotel next door. Everything very clean, beautifully modern and with attention to detail... quiet surroundings, supermarket, bakery within 15 minutes' walk. Also 5 minutes away is a very delicious cheese factory. Excursion destinations such as Lugano, Locarno, Como, Ascona and even Milan are less than 2 hours away. Passageways were also easy to drive in winter.

We really enjoyed staying at the charming Rustico. Especially with our young dog, it was perfect with the garden. We'll be back. 😊

Baita Pierino is a jewel immersed in the woods, an oasis of tranquility in which to take refuge after walks, with a small veranda where you can drink a coffee while listening to the sounds of nature. We spent three days in Katia's accommodation with our dog and everything was as described, we lacked nothing. The area is well served, in fact, just a few kilometers away you can find bars, restaurants and shops. Katia is kind and helpful, she made us feel at home. We highly recommend it!

The stay with Devid and Fabio was wonderful. The cottage is tastefully and modernly decorated, the beds are comfortable. There is a nice rain shower and the kitchen contains everything you need. But, the best thing is the view of Lake Como. What a beautiful panorama that is a little different every day. In the red book, Devid and Fabio have collected a lot of practical information and ideas for excursions, we have visited a number of them: without exception, they were successful. In addition, Devid gave us all kinds of good advice and guided us well in the process of arrival and departure. We felt very welcome. Thank you very much for that.

Check the bus times before arrival! Busses stop running around 19:00 so if you arrive after that you are left to walk 30 minutes up a mountain with your luggage. Mathias was nice enough to pick us up so we didn’t have to walk all the way. Very responsive and an obvious amount of care is put into this place! Lovely quiet village outside of the tourist bubble. Highly recommend for those who want to hike and explore the Ticino valley! There is so much within an hour train ride away.

Charming, spacious and well-equipped house. Ideal for a few days of team climbing at Chironico.

The apartment is excellent! Very spacious, with all the utilities available. Very comfortable and in a great location especially for those who want to ski in Piani de Bobbio. Few steps from the shuttle to the station. We had a great stay and we wanted to extend our vacation but it was a shame that the apartment was already occupied. Extremely responsive host. Recommend!!!

If you are fit and looking for basic, off the beaten track, traditional & peaceful with stunning views this will surpass your expectations. Comfy bed, hot shower, forget the hairdryer, cook on the hob or bbq, buy groceries before you arrive, walk to the dairy amidst flower meadows to buy cheese & milk, enjoy cows with bells, marmots, deer, endless butterflies, the mountain views and walks. I loved the swing! Take walking boots, comfy slippers and a good book. I cried when we had to leave, it was just so beautiful.........a real gem. Gianni was kind and friendly and his place had a simple family warmth to it.

I don't want to say anything good about this place for fear of not having places for next year😁. As you can see, this is a great place to stay but especially great hosts. The setting is idyllic, located at an equal distance from Lago di Lugano and Lago di Como. A raised car is very useful for passing the cobblestone path. Claudia and Luca's place has everything you need to spend time with the family and decompress. Claudia and Luca are very thoughtful hosts who answer all our questions quickly. ( This was helpful due to a car issue.) The horses were a plus for my daughter who was delighted to be able to take care of them with Claudia. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for calm, beautiful scenery, great hosts, and located 20 minutes from the great Italian lakes. What more could you ask for? 😉

Really loved our stay for my husbands birthday. We wanted somewhere with great views, nice and secluded where our dog could have lots of lovely walks. We were an hour away from Lake Como and managed a lovely day trip. Interior of the property was very cosy and quintessential Swiss. Comfy beds, kitted-out kitchen, lovely shower and super quiet.

Cozy house, really nice and 10 minutes from the ski slopes. A welcoming and very kind host, highly recommended. We'll definitely be back 😊

A beautiful chalet close to the Swiss border, but in the best Italian mountain location. The view is amazing, and the house is perfect, both in size and location, to spend beautiful days there. Sara as a host is very quick to respond and friendly. When you arrive, you will be greeted by Carla and Stefano and taken to the chalet. Both are incredibly nice and helpful, and make you feel at home. The chalet itself is small and cozy, just the right size for two people, with all the comforts you could wish for, and you will be really surprised up there. We enjoyed the time there very much, and look forward to the next visit there.

Very tidy and clean apartment, equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay: coffee maker with pods, shower products and much more. The owner was extremely kind and friendly, with a welcome gift. The directions to get there were clear, the parking is conveniently located near the property, and the owner's availability was impeccable, with very useful suggestions about the area. Excellent location: close to the center, the mines, the Tibetan bridge and easily accessible. Great flexibility even on schedules. Highly recommended!
