Lake house holiday rentals in Madison

This was our second time at Ho Hum East and we had a great time! The new deck updates were super nice adding outdoor space to layout food and enjoy most meals on the deck. The outdoor kitchen wasn't completed yet but, will be a great addition to the new deck when it's done. The main bath was newly remodeled and was very nice and spacious. The lake front was well maintained and a great space for us to spend most of our time enjoying the water, sun, fishing, boating, nature and wildlife. The dock was a little wobbly although, we were told that was being replaced at some point but it worked for us. The airbnb owner provided a paddleboard, rubber raft, corn hole boards and other outdoor items to use. The proximity of the home was only a few minutes from amenities i.e. pool, golf course, beach and The Cove (restaurant). The only drawback is all the steps - it would be great if there was a pulley system or other system to take items up and down the steps from the house to the lake front.

Mary’s place was so nice. Right on the water & so relaxing and peaceful. It’s just a short drive to get to the downtown Dells & lots of things to do & see. Mary was quick to respond to any questions I had & was very friendly & helpful. We will definitely be back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful home, and I must say, it was amazing! The Lakeview was absolutely stunning, providing a breathtaking backdrop for a perfect getaway. Kelli went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for the weekend. There were plenty of towels and amenities available, which made our stay even more comfortable. I truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches and attention to detail. Thank you for an unforgettable experience! I can't wait to return!

Matthew's place is amazing everything is setup great. This is 2nd year we have rented the house. The location is peaceful and beach and lake is great for kids. We will rent again next year.

We loved the view of Little Green Lake from the dining area, and from the living room, and from right by water's edge on the small deck. Just so peaceful and beautiful! Enjoyed a few sunsets as well. Kitchen was well equipped, had everything you might need. House was located on a quiet road, so we were able to take several walks. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Lovely updated cabin among other cabins in resort on Lake Delton. Spent 3 days with my 2 sisters and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings as great getaway from, yet easy to reach Dells attractions. As summer fully starts next week I expect the place will be much busier as it seems a very good family resort with pool and playground for kids. Nice, sandy beach on lake a short walk away. There are stairs to access the cabin from the deck. Use key pad hidden behind upper deck screen/storm door. Lower level has nice extra family room to spread out guests. Bring Duraflame type logs if you’d like to use fireplace. We enjoyed that on a cooler night.

Beautiful house, super clean lake, excellent location, grocery store just a mile away. We used canoes and paddle boards, host generously provided table games as well. Pool table was a hit with the boys and they played multiple times a day. Two separate living spaces were great for adults and our teens. We also were so happy to be able to bring our dog with us. Will definitely rent the house again!

We enjoyed this house and its surroundings very much! I wish I had more time to try the restaurants that the host recommended to us.

Very clean and well maintained home. Kitchen was well stocked with pans and other utensils. Our grandkids didn’t want to leave the awesome basement!

Very nice place for family stay in Monona. Especially nice kitchen space and amenities. Our family really enjoyed the screened patio and backyard space, as well as adorable friendly cat.

We found a little nugget to come back to when we are in the area. We had a short stay but we want to come back. We discovered local restaurants, would like to try the one across the street next time. And I’m excited to try the wineries in the area. The home was clean, and I was able to get into the home easily. It’s quiet and peaceful. The home was big enough for the 3 of us. The boys loved the games in the den.

Brian and Jonny were very responsive and communicative from beginning to end. It was a last minute trip and we were lucky to find a pet friendly place during the start of the summer season. The house was clean, cozy and close to walking trails. Although we did not take advantage of the outdoor grill or hot tub (they have a wood burning fireplace for the winter), we enjoyed the screened in porch and open concept layout of the house, as pictured in the profile. The house is situated between two other houses blocked somewhat by the trees. I would describe as semi-private where we could see their back patio/hot tub/fire pit and vice versa. But whatever your personal comfort level, you can’t beat the proximity to trails, Owners Club, and easy access to Hwy 20 to Galena! We enjoyed our stay and exploring!

Tim’s place is a gem! It’s located on the river, and very close to the lake as well… So you can easily do all sorts of water sports, which is important to my family. Communication was very clear and he is easy to get ahold of. I would definitely rent here again!

We had the absolute best time at The Treehouse. It was truly one of the most spectacular places we’ve ever stayed! From the moment we arrived, it felt like the perfect home for a family getaway. The house had everything we could have possibly needed for comfort, fun, and quality time together. It was sparkling clean, beautifully maintained, and the views were just breathtaking. Our hosts were wonderful. They were so kind, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. We especially loved relaxing by the fire pit, unwinding in the hot tub, and enjoying the peaceful screened-in porch. It was the perfect balance of cozy and fun! Beyond the amazing home itself, Galena had so much to offer. We had a great time exploring the town, dining at local restaurants, shopping, and just soaking in the charm of the area. We’re so grateful for our stay at The Treehouse and can’t recommend it highly enough. We’re already hoping to return for another family gathering next year!

The place was a perfect for a big crew! Having the duplex connect on the inside was ideal. We were able to have one kitchen for food storage and prep and one for drinks. We used it for a bachlorette weekend, but it would have been great for two families as well.

We really enjoyed our stay and definitely would return. The home was clean and we felt right at home. Our dogs loved the yard and the view overlooking the lake was beautiful. The home was just as described, and check-in was easy. Nathan was responsive and communicated well throughout our stay. I would recommend staying at Nathan's, he is a great host, and we were grateful for our time there.

The location was beautiful and the lake views were unmatched. The space itself is well-utilized. We especially took advantage of the outdoor deck. The overall space was clean and well maintained. We did clean most of the kitchen ware (i.e. pots and pans) before using it because it didn't look entirely clean but that was no bother for us. Chris was communicative and checked in on us throughout our stay. Would recommend for anyone looking for a cozy place to use as a home base that's dog-friendly to explore the surrounding Devil's lake area!

the hot tub is great, and the house is bigger than it looks 👌. it's by the lake and the view to the lake is beautiful 😍

A perfect location for a family reunion - close to all the sights of Madison but also private and quiet. We stayed with a couple young kids and several families and generations and the house accommodated all for a lovely stay

Beautiful property with a lot of activities to keep the family busy. The sunsets over the lake were priceless. Doug purchased marshmallows roasters for us to use over the fire pit. Plenty of outdoor seating on the huge patio. The beds were amazing to sleep on. There was plenty of wild life to see and even had a groundhog that made appearances almost every day. Great place to relax and looking forward to staying there again.

Christopher’s place was perfect for our family meeting up from multiple locations. The backyard had a beautiful view and we were able to walk to a nearby park to let the kids run out some energy. The neighborhood was quiet, and although there was some road noise, it didn’t bother us. The house was close to lots of things to do in the Dells and surrounding area. We would stay there again!

Home is very accommodating inside and out, the lake was perfect for kayaking and we visited downtown shops and a short ride to House on the Rock. Great place to reconnect with family!

This home was the perfect spot for my family and I. The place was exactly as described & super clean. The beds were super comfortable which is a huge plus. Definitely will stay again.
