This is a beautiful and quiet place. The house was spacious and comfortable and I could feel the host's touches everywhere. Above all, during a large power outage, Lydia said that she was worried about our safety and came to us. Even though we couldn't meet because we were out and about, that alone was a great comfort for us who were embarrassed. Thanks to you, I had a good stay.

Vladimirs place was exactly as described. The location was perfect - close to the main square in town and the beach. It was extremely clean and spacious for the three of us who were visiting. Would recommend and return.

We had a gorgeous stay here with our toddler. The house had everything we needed for traveling with a child and was complete with toys, beach going needs like towels, umbrellas, and beach toys, as well as a crib and high chair. We borrowed their bikes and explored town and loved visiting the gelato place that’s around the corner. At night, we listened to the frogs in the rice paddies behind the house and loved watching the bird life during the day. Getting to the beach was quick and easy and we spent two days there. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Wonderful family stay, Carolina was attentive and helpful, going out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed for our baby too. We felt right at home, we didn’t want to leave!

We loved our month’s stay at Arlinda’s place - a house full of art and history - especially appreciated Arlinda’s creative use of driftwood and branches that made for functional and interesting spaces - 3 outdoor spaces! Her home is right outside the castle walls, easy to walk into the center -

It was a wonderful place with a magnificent view of the sea. A place that invites you to linger and unwind. The house was in top condition and clean. We felt completely comfortable and José was a great host.

Christina was extremely helpful and an excellent host. As a superhost myself, I would absolutely rate this place a 5 star. Her level of communication was excellent providing us with a driver and great local recommendations. I highly recommend having a hired driver while visiting the area if you want to travel outside the square.

Beautifully renovated and decorated house in a very traditional village/small town. The garden with its cooling pool and dining/chilling area was equally beautifully presented as per listing. Although a car is needed to visit the area and for restaurants etc, Casa Arnaldo is in a great location for exploring the area including fantastic beaches, vineyards and historical sites, which Cristina informed us about providing plenty of useful information to make the most of our stay.

We had such a lovely stay over the month we stayed here. Felt completely at home. The house was so clean, comfortable and had everything one could need. The backyard, pool, and pool room made our stay extra luxurious. Working remotely was easy with a strong wifi connection and a proper office to work from. Lina was so kind, welcoming, and responsive. Any questions we had, she was quick to respond. The house is in a beautiful area, close to some great towns, epic surf, and beautiful vineyards. A great place to stay whether family, friends, or couples.

This is a magical place and we are very thankfull that we could make it our home for a long weekend. It was beautiful from the inside and the outside. With cosy corners to sit and read by yourself, or nice bigger tables to eat or chat with the whole group together. The pool, the view, it is even more breath taking then on the pictures. Excellent week spent in a dream location. The place, the setting, the access, everything was there and especially without forgetting Joanna and Ronny who are admirable and available hosts. We recommend it and we will return without hesitation.

Great little studio, convenient for Sao lourenco beach. Really quiet and pretty surroundings and nice neighbours. Shops etc are not walkable so best with a car

An unforgettable week in your holiday home Our week in your holiday home was truly a dream. The panoramic view over the ocean and the beach was breathtaking , waking up to that view every morning was pure magic. What made the stay extra special were the small observations that coloured local life. It was fascinating to see how people enthusiastically took selfies at the most beautiful places. It was also impressive to see how suppliers brought their products down the steep stairs – a true art in itself. The balcony was a true paradise: spacious, comfortable and with a view that invited us to enjoy the surroundings for hours. Although we noticed the musty air in the bedroom, we accepted this. With the tips we received to regulate the humidity, we were able to further optimise our stay. A fan for the night would be a welcome addition to improve the air circulation. We had a perfect stay with Carlos. The apartment was even better than described. Well equipped and nicely furnished. Also suitable for longer stays. The cleaning service is great! When a small problem with the hot water boiler occured, Carlos was immediately available and took great care of it. We would definitely book again.

Great location in the city center, meters away from the cliffs and beaches. Clean and nicely decorated apartment. Nice rooftop terrace with a seaview. As the apartment is over busy bars, one of the room on that side gets really noisy during the night. Earplugs might not be enough for light sleepers.

Indigo Windmill delivered exactly what we’d hoped for - a beautiful location with great outdoor space to relax in. The outdoor kitchen and hot tub are real highlights!
