Tight space, but with the beautiful backyard setting & the multitude of activities to do in/around Cheticamp, you won’t be spending much time indoors. Despite being a tight space, it had everything one will need for a comfortable stay. I cannot mention enough how peaceful the backyard setting is!! Such an incredible sunset.

Wabo’s On The Water was the perfect place to stay for our visit to the hiking trails near Cheticamp! The sunsets were amazing and Wabo’s Pizza located on the floor above our AirBnB was delicious! We would definitely stay here again!

Le logement est fidèle à la description, petit studio super fonctionnel, parfait pour 2 personnes. La vue sur l’anse est exceptionnelle. L’insonnorisation avec le logement d’en haut est déficiente. La cohabitation pourrait être difficile. On entend les conversations, mouvements de meuble, les pas.

We had a wonderful time in Cheticamp. John was helpful for suggestions about hiking and restaurants. I would highly recommend his beautiful place.

Joeleens place was a great place to stay for the night. It was very clean, cozy and had everything you needed. It looked exactly like it does in the photos provided. The location was great and convenient. It was on the Main Street and was walking distance to a few restaurants. Just be mindful that it’s a shared building and being on the bottom floor you could hear foot traffic above. But overall we had a great stay ! Thanks for hosting us!!

Really enjoyed our one night at Joeleens. So nice to see the fishing boats and watch the sunset from the deck.

We had a wonderful stay! As other reviews said, there was a smell upon entering (mothballs perhaps?), but didn't bother us and didn't notice it after a while. Although it is dated (that's part of the charm), the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, the beds are comfortable, and the view was perfect. Overall we enjoyed our time there!

Great place, just as described, much bigger than the photos show. Had everything we needed. Fabulous view from the deck complete with sunset! Short walk to restaurants and shops. Met by Maurice and Valerie who were great hosts. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area

This is an absolutely brilliant Airbnb. The hosts are responsive, the house is gorgeous, the supplies for guests extensive. I fully understand why one previous reviewer wanted to buy the home! Cannot recommend highly enough - just superb in every way

Darling home on the edge of a small inlet, on the outskirts of Chéticamp. The house was just as described and had everything we could have needed during our stay. Great base if you’re looking for a place to stay along the Cabot Trail. Would recommend! (I would also recommend L’abri and Woodroad if you’re looking for excellent restaurants in the area :))

We just returned from 10 days at Ocean Hideaway in Pleasant Bay. This place is just magical. It sits on a cliff overlooking a vast bay of water where we often saw whales, seals, and dolphins. The sunsets were spectacular every evening! The house is just off the main road but completely secluded, quiet and inviting. Daniel provides all sorts of personal touches from a coffee bar complete with an assortment of syrups, caramels, mini marshmallows ,and chocolates; to extra thoughtful amenities like tooth brushes and tooth paste. The kitchen is a fun space to prepare anything from morning coffees to full blown dinners. We wish we never had to leave!

We loved our stay here. The house was very comfortable and the views were amazing! Close to excellent restaurants and right on the Cabot trail I would certainly recommend this house. The wine and chocolates waiting on arrival were much appreciated and a lovely touch, thank you.

Beautiful property and house. Loved sitting by the lake having coffee. We came to enjoy the colours of fall and they were amazing. Not a lot open this time of year but driving to find places was just more opportunity to see the incredible landscape. Nicola was an exceptional host. House had everything we needed. Thanks again for having us.

Had a great week! The unit was stocked with everything we needed, absolutely spotless. Loved the book, that had the history and things to do in Cheticamp. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you so much, we look forward to coming back again one day.
