Family-friendly holiday rentals in Magog

A real gem hidden in the middle of the woods! Large spaces, the jacuzzi was very well maintained and the chalet pleasant to live in. No noise, no view of any neighbors, just the mountain. The access path will require at least an SUV in summer and is not accessible by car in snowy weather, this is to be taken into consideration to reach this haven of peace.

Very nice accommodation and spa appreciated in winter! Not needing a key is great. The rooms are comfortable and the open areas allow you to have a good time in a group. (There is no Chinese fondue stove.)

Close to the United States so fresh if they have made For the Milky Way chalet, I was expecting this theme inside too. But too much decoration that has no relation, rooster, wolf, butterfly, etc. On the other hand in the spas, the view, the sky that really represented the name of the cottage. Would I go back? Yes, without hesitation. For the price it's worth it. The beach not far away is a plus;-). I loved my stay;-)

We had a wonderful stay at Michel's place. It's beautifully situated and such a wonderful part of the Estrie. The home was cosy, clean and very tastefully decorated. I loved the shower and the hot tub! Thanks again Michel, I highly recommend this place for nature lovers and bicycle and hiking enthusiasts! Heath and Caron

We will definitely be returning to Darren and Lynne’s BnB! Our room was very comfortable and homey, with great personal touches. We greatly enjoyed the delicious breakfast during our stay, and warming up in the hot tub at the end of our day skiing. Thank you for hosting us!

Super warm welcome. Alain took the time to tell us the history of the house (centenary), as well as inform us about things to do and see in Waterloo (QC). Nearby is a craft brewery (ROBIN), a seven-minute walk away. We have been a restriction in our activities by heavy rains. But we watched horror movies on the giant screen. What put spice in our experience... Definitely a memorable and reworked experience. Thank you

If it was for sale, we would ask to buy it, but it wouldn’t come with our wonderful hosts so we’ll continue to rent it! What a wonderful experience we had enjoying ourselves and beautiful Ayer’s Cliff, Quebec. We visit Quebec quite often from the states where we live and we have stayed in several places over many years and this is one of our favorites. very nice experience at the cottage - kids liked it and we had lots of games and puzzles to do on a rainy day. interior stair will be remebered :) saw lots of deer and two wild turkeys every day on the gravel road to keep in mind when driving. ski is few minutes alway with a car. most of the close by restaurants (30min away) open after thursdays, so we were goint at the owls head hotel restaurant- not bad but need reservation on a busy days. overall excelent 5 day ski vacation. kuddos to the owner.

Sara and her mom are very easy-going hosts. I traveled with a friend and two dogs, and we all felt very welcomed. There's a small fenced in area on the roadside of the house, and tons of open farmland in the back -- both were great for letting the dogs out. Sara's parents are very quiet neighbors, but it was also nice to know they were nearby if anything came up. A 26-mile rail trail starts out of Richford, which is a five minute drive from the house.

We had a lovely time at this quaint mountainous home. The neighbor nearby had some horses that grazed near the home every morning and the vistas in the distance were incredible to see. We would love to come back again next year, maybe during the more peak foliage season. Thank you all so much for your hospitality, especially for providing us an extra night!

This place is as advertised. We immediately felt at ease upon entering the place. It is a cozy European style chalet that is close to skiing and the village. We are already planning a return next winter.

The space is cozy and perfect for a nature retreat. Communication was clear and I was easily able to contact Jean-Thomas when I had trouble finding the place (in the middle of a snowstorm, I must say!). The surrounding trails are beautiful and well maintained!

Our family absolutely loved Louise & Michel's chalet - it is charming and cozy. We had a lovely stay and hope to visit again.

What a gorgeous location! So pretty, beautiful trail along the property with lovely pool and hot tub. It felt like being in a home and not an Airbnb. Highly recommend!

Just awesome. Slopeside access, close to Tram Side and right on Grammy Jay which was easy for the littles to get the day started on the way to the double. When it was cold (once) we used the fireplace and the condo warms up quickly. Plenty of hot water. A near perfect stay. Fantastic!

Very beautiful cottage. The kitchen is very well equipped. Very clean, lots of wood to make many fires in the 2 fireplaces (1 inside and 1 in the heated outdoor living room). The village of Ayer's Cliff is 4 minutes from cars (restaurants, bakery, grocery store, small shops...). We stayed during the March break and went skiing in Orford which is less than 25 minutes away.

Stayed at Mike’s place for 3 nights while skiing at Jay Peak. Ideal location and was just the perfect layout and space for my party of 6. Even with 3 adults and 3 kids there was still plenty of extra space for additional guests. Some nice restaurants just down the street towards Montgomery. The space was also ideal for cooking in and enjoying time with everyone. Have been to Jay Peak often and would certainly be interested in renting again.

Great house and responsive host. Kitchen was very well stocked for cooking and there were plenty of books/games to keep you occupied.

We had a lovely stay at Ricardo's! Honestly, it looks even nicer than the pictures! It is a basement apartment but is very clean and well-supplied: lots of kitchen utensils, a full-sized fridge and microwave, a high chair, LARGE washer and dryer, a fan, AC, outdoor seating to relax in, plenty of towels, two roll-away cots, a large closet, and more! The above ground pool is just shared with the apartment above and was very refreshing. The neighborhood was quiet and seemed very family-friendly...we saw a lot of kids walking and riding their bikes on the street, and the park is right around the corner and very easy to walk to. The apartment is just a block away from a main road that runs between Sherbrooke and Magog which made it very easy to access what these towns had to offer. Lakes were just a short drive away. Ricardo was also a very friendly and responsive host. This was a great value and quality for the price and I would definitely be interested in coming back!

The cottage was very large and met our needs well. There were 15 of us and it was perfect as a place. The environment is quiet and intimate. The cottage includes interesting amenities for a stay with friends. Would highly recommend! We'll go back for sure!
