The Les Bois Ba Vi villa is a terrific place for family to gather around a fabulous pool amid beautiful nature. It's a wonderful get away from Hanoi. The pool is quite large and collects rain water from the mountains which is very clean and very refreshing to swim in. It is the best asset of the villa. The maid and estate keeper are nice and resourceful. The place has a lot of silverware but only a very simple electric warmer, not great for cooking, but they have a BBQ. We let the owner know that there are mosquitos hiding behind the curtains inside the bedrooms, and that the mattresses are too hard to sleep in, so be sure to ask whether these issues have been addressed before you book. There are 3 restaurant options within walking distance to the villa which is nice. We tried the Suoi Cai home cook restaurant and would not recommend. The place has a nice pond view and karaoke but foods are quite bland.

This place is awesome and Bach was great. It’s perfect for big groups and they were happy to help us with anything we needed like storing our luggage after we checked out and laundry. Would recommend

Very charming house in a lovely area. Beautiful garden around, modest but spacious interior, perfect for us. Great view and nice walks around, the neighbor was super helpful and cooked us some delicious lunch. We will definitely remember our stay here.

Really loved this place! I was initially a bit confused about the listing being two houses but it made sense when I saw it in person. Cannot fault the Kieu. Impeccable service, we rented bicycles and attended a nearby music festival. It was absolute perfection. 10000% recommend y out stay here. Hot water, clean, view right into mountains and rice paddies.

If I could give 6 stars, I would! Thai Homestay was the absolute highlight of our trip to Vietnam.Staying here was so much more than just finding a place to sleep — it was about connecting deeply with the Thai minority culture in a way we never expected. The homestay itself is exactly like the pictures — beautiful, peaceful, and full of charm. But what really made the experience unforgettable was the people. Tam prepared amazing meals every day — full of local flavors, fresh ingredients, and love. Even though the family speaks little English, communication was never a barrier. We’ll never forget the grandmother weaving traditional scarves in the evening, her calm rhythm matching the serenity of the village. Or being offered fresh jackfruit and grilled bananas as we sat on the porch. Mr. Tunc took us hiking through the most breathtaking scenery — green rice fields, banana plants, bamboo water mills.. Yen helped us arrange a private driver from Hanoi to Pu Luong and back! Thanks a lot!

Really friendly and helpful.

We loved our stay in the bungalow here. the view was incredible looking over terraced rice fields and mountains. It is very close to Hui Waterfall down a steep path. it was refreshing to go down for a swim in the waterfall pools. the family living on site hosting us were incredibly warm and welcoming. the food was delicious and it was so nice being amongst them playing with the children and watching the grandmother weave on her loom. Yén was very proactive in ensuring we were well looked after and happy on the lead up and throughout our stay. she gave great local tips and timings of local markets to visit. I was unfortunately quite unwell during our stay so had to stay at the bungalow one of the days but yen and the family checked in and even offered several times to bring me medicine. it was very appreciated. we slept very peacefully here to the sounds of the ricefields and frogs. Thank you for having us!!

Great and beautiful location! Beautiful interior and exterior design! Very responsive, friendly and helpful host. The people in Hoa Binh are among the friendliest people we’ve come across! We did miss some basic kitchen amenities like (wooden) spatulas, spices, good functioning scissors and bigger drying rack for dish washing(a big dish washer would be even better😉) and kitchen towels(which were provided when we requested them). Overall had a great time here with my friends and definitely will come back!
