This is a private lodging [Kokoro in the middle of the lake]. It will be a private house for one group per day, where you can feel the rich nature of Shiga Prefecture and enjoy rural life. It can accommodate up to 10 people in a nice, calm, old-fashioned space. Please relax with your family and friends. About 1 hour by car from downtown Kyoto, about 20 minutes by bus from Azumikawa Station on the JR Kusai Line, about 10 minutes by taxi. It is popular with overseas customers, families, and groups. A BBQ set is also available for rent. BBQ equipment is available for a fee, so please let us know. Free parking on premises. Up to 3 regular cars can be parked. For large vehicles, it may be difficult to accommodate 3, so please contact us in advance. If you consult with us in advance, we can also lend it for a fee. There are also plenty of outdoor facilities in the surrounding area, so please use it as a base for activities. Please also use it as a base for cycling in Lake Biwa. To ensure you enjoy the stay to the fullest, I set check-in and check-out time to both 12:00 Noon. So you can stay up for 24 hours with one night booking. YAMANOTE HOUSE is accessible from major Kansai stations with 37min from Kyoto Sta. or 65min from Osaka Sta. If you come by car from Kyoto it takes less than 1 hour. The area aournd the house is once small castle town. The house is located next to the Shrine, Hiyoshi-Jinja, where the Omizo Festival is held on May 3 and 4 every year.
