We also rent BBQ grills and tent saunas, so you can enjoy an extraordinary experience while feeling at one with nature. * We may not be able to provide a tent sauna depending on availability. This is a private lodging [Kokoro in the middle of the lake]. It will be a private house for one group per day, where you can feel the rich nature of Shiga Prefecture and enjoy rural life. It can accommodate up to 10 people in a nice, calm, old-fashioned space. Please relax with your family and friends. About 1 hour by car from downtown Kyoto, about 20 minutes by bus from Azumikawa Station on the JR Kusai Line, about 10 minutes by taxi. It is popular with overseas customers, families, and groups. A BBQ set is also available for rent. BBQ equipment is available for a fee, so please let us know. Free parking on premises. Up to 3 regular cars can be parked. For large vehicles, it may be difficult to accommodate 3, so please contact us in advance. If you consult with us in advance, we can also lend it for a fee. There are also plenty of outdoor facilities in the surrounding area, so please use it as a base for activities. Please also use it as a base for cycling in Lake Biwa. Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. kyoto villa soso (Near Kyoto station)

《May 2019 TV can be watched.》 It is located 15 minutes on foot from Kyoto station. It will be lent to a Kyoto townhouse style building. I put the finest furniture and the finest bed. You can also use wifi. The bath is about the size of two adults and uses Japanese cypress. It will be a very beautiful room just opened in January. Please try and stay at once. The location of the hotel is in a place where you can walk to downtown area of Kyoto and famous temples. It is a very convenient place.

To ensure you enjoy the stay to the fullest, I set check-in and check-out time to both 12:00 Noon. So you can stay up for 24 hours with one night booking. YAMANOTE HOUSE is accessible from major Kansai stations with 37min from Kyoto Sta. or 65min from Osaka Sta. If you come by car from Kyoto it takes less than 1 hour. The area aournd the house is once small castle town. The house is located next to the Shrine, Hiyoshi-Jinja, where the Omizo Festival is held on May 3 and 4 every year.

As featured on the NYTimes T list, this property is a "Kyomachiya", a traditional Japanese home over 100 years old. It has been revamped from a "Nishijin-ori" (traditional Japanese textile) factory. It is located in the traditional Kamigyo Ward, minutes walk from the Imperial Palace. We collaborated with award winning architects at Ikken to renovate this space, which now accommodates the comforts of modern life, while retaining many of the original structure and elements from its past.
