Waddle Self Catering

The Waddle is a traditional Shetland croft house, refurbished to offer a homely and comfortable stay for guests. Situated in a peaceful, quiet, remote location just over a mile from the nearby village of Walls, tucked in under the hill overlooking a sea-loch, it's a perfect place to enjoy Shetlands wildlife, scenery, peace and freedom. The Waddle is situated on an active croft. We have approximately 250 sheep with lambing in the spring, silage baling in the summer and feeding in the winter.

Great for couples, business travellers and tourists. The property has a spacious living room with smart 65” TV and WIFI. The kitchen is well equipped with all mod cons. There is a double bed in the bedroom with SIMBA mattress. There is also a washing machine and a tumble dryer available for guest to use.

Sleeps up to 4 persons with power supplied via 240V battery power pack. Drinking water will be supplied and shower/sink supply will be topped up as required.

Comfortable two bedroom cottage, situated in the centre of Lerwick. The cottage has recently been refurbished, and is decorated with a modern feel. Located on King Harald Street, the cottage is within walking distance of Lerwick town centre, near various cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops. Please be aware that there are two sets of steps to get up to the cottage (27 in total), so it may not be suitable for people with mobility issues, or prams/buggies.
