Since Dec 4, 2023, we have been the proud owners of our vacation home at Beach Resort in Makkum. The house can accommodate up to 6 people, and is very complete. The house is beautifully centrally located on a quiet park. With a sunny terrace and views over the nature reserve and the water. You can fish from the jetty! Within a few minutes' walk you are on the beach and the cozy boulevard with catering facilities . Beach Resort Makkum is celebrating holidays on a beautiful resort on the IJsselmeer!

Dike villa with infinity view

This beautiful house right on the dike can accommodate up to 4 people. The centerpiece is the spacious terrace with its breathtaking view of the IJsselmeer. Whether spending time in the sun or watching the numerous surfers, sailing boats or water birds. Everyone really gets their money's worth here. The house was furnished with a lot of love to a high standard. Appliances such as a Bora hob and a Quooker hot water tap were installed in the kitchen. We look forward to seeing you.

Studio 't Achterdijkje

't Achterdijkje is a centrally located studio in the authentic fishing village of "Makkum". The studio is small but nice, and has everything you need to get away from it all. The views of the sea dyke and the masts of the ships in the harbor make it the perfect location for tranquility and relaxation. From the front door you can walk up the dike and have a view of the IJsselmeer and the port of Makkum. The center of Makkum is around the corner and also the beach is close!

The luxurious spacious suite is furnished with a cozy sitting area, flat screen TV, minibar, double box spring, double sink, jacuzzi, hairdryer, a bathroom with spacious rain shower and a toilet. Every morning, the regional bakery delivers a luxury breakfast. From the suite you have a unique view of the largest tidal area in the world: the Unesco world heritage "De Waddenzee". We will do everything we can so that you will have an unforgettable stay in the Funnel!

Cozy loft with rural views!

The apartment is located in a very idyllic, quiet place in the beautiful Frisian Landscape near the IJsselmeer. Originally, the loft was a cooking studio, where delicious dishes were cooked. The loft is spacious and has been completely converted since June 2020. It offers a lot of privacy, tranquility, a private terrace (with rural views) and free parking. In the beautiful surroundings, close to Hindeloopen and Stavoren, you can go hiking, cycling and sailing.

This cozy apartment is right on Makkum Beach. From the sunny balcony you have a view of the lake and the cozy boulevard. Downtown Makkum is a 5-minute drive/30-minute walk away. Really everything is at hand for the perfect holiday: surfing/sailing schools, the touring boat, cycling and hiking routes, beach pavilions, the charming center of Makkum and of course the beautiful sunset! The apartment has a private parking space and storage for bicycles.

Rural stay on Frisian Elfstedenroute

Within walking distance of the city center of Bolsward, on the Workumertrekvaart, the original Frisian Elfstedenroute, is our rural farm. We offer you a spacious room in this rural and watery area, which is equipped with a large double bed, (2x0.90), TV/sitting area and a completely new bathroom with Jacuzzi. Extra sleeping space is possible. We have recently built this new space in our former cowshed, which is adjacent to our private home.

Complete house near to the beach with 6 beds in Scandinavian style (lots of white and wood). Just 75 meters from the beach. Rebuilt in januari 2016. Complete new kitchen and bathroom. The interior is very modern. The house is fully equipped, is very shelterd and offers a lot of privacy. Great terrace in front of the house.

Atmospheric overnight stay in 't Bakhuske

Our beautiful comfortable Bakhuske is a small cozy apartment and equipped with all the comforts. You have access to a small terrace and you can also use the garden. Where you can enjoy the sun or, for example, make a fire. You can cycle and walk in the area. There are bicycle routes available.
