A lovely clean place, spacious and awesome for large groups. Host was fantastic with communication and very helpful with local advice. We went in a group of 17 people (rented 2 apartments).. it was fantastic

Place was well maintained. Dion has been a great host though virtually but was always available if we needed him. Place was worth the price and did easily accommodate four families with children. The balcony view was another level to enjoy nature. Heating was perfect. We look forward to booking again with him.

A really great home for our group of 11 It fit everyone perfectly The bathrooms were nice and spacious We got to enjoy the fireplace and the view of the stars at night were really clear! The town is just a few minutes away with the things you need and we were just a quick drive to Turoa ski fields. I highly recommend this for big groups

A great spot. The accommodation was warm, clean and had everything we needed. Central to great restaurants and easy to Main Street.

We had a big group (19) doing the Tongariro Crossing. Dion's place was the perfect fit for us. Close to eateries, the main street, hot tubs next door and only a short drive to National Park/Crossing. Dion was incredible to deal with. So patient and helpful. We will definitely make this an annual, if not biannual event using Dion's accommodation. Thanks Dion!

We had a great time in Taupo using this as a base for our adventures.

The host (Ruapehu Chalet Rentals) was helpful and gave us clear instructions right away. It was a lovely private home with good-sized rooms. We BBQ'd both nights – loved it! The kitchen and rooms were clean and tidy. It was really close to the market, too. We'll definitely stay again. Thanks!

I was traveling with a friend from the UK, exploring parts of the North Island. Really enjoyed staying at Hans' place. Beautiful old cottage, very clean & cosy. Were treated with homemade bread & fruit from their trees. The house is close to town. Gorgeous weather & had fun wandering through the market by the river.

We had a great stay here. The house was beautifully built with extra special touches - like the underfloor heating. The house was presented beautifully, and had everything we required. We appreciated the extra lengths Olivia went to, to accomodate our dog as well. Check in and out was super easy. I would definitely look at staying here again and recommend this place to anyone looking to travel to Palmerston North 😊

Great location on the water, with kayaks available next door. Close enough to town for convenience, but still has nice privacy. House had everything we needed, great bbq setup and outdoor space. Highly recommend for any stay in the area.

Nigel and Fiona were wonderful hosts. Kind, patient and friendly. The house is exactly as described. The guest space was actually more private than expected, with my own bathroom and everything I needed. There are countless thoughtful touches that show they really want to make the stay as positive as possible for the guests. Small things like the fridge in the bedroom being a special silent type so you wont hear it click on and hum at night. The key safe has built in LED lighting, making it easy to access in the dark. Lots of small, thoughtful touches like this that just made the whole visit feel cosy :) Their cat, Tango, is just as calm and friendly as they are too. And their wonderful art collection tops it all off. I would definitely recommend, and would stay again :) Thanks guys!

Sarah is an awesome host, very well at communicating and always responsive. We reached after office hours but she had already arranged key and map for as as well as turned heater on which was so helpful after long drive and with cold weather.

Stunning!! Wow this place really took our breath away! We couldn't believe that all this space was for us! The lake view was mesmerising! There was everything we could possibly need and then some! Jonathan was really a super host! Great communication before, during and after our stay. We can't wait to plan our next trip and hopefully we can book this place again. We just loved it!!

Absolutely beautiful location in Ohakune! The house was well maintained and equipped with amazing things as well. Definitely recommend staying here, especially for a ski holiday!

We spent 1 night at Ana's home wish we could of stayed longer. Her home had lots of room for our big group, it was well equipped, warm and clean, within easy driving distance to town. Absolutely loved the view of the lake & Mt ruapehu.

A beautiful house - quiet and off the road. Close to lots of food places too. Andrea has a lovely host and I would recommend this place to others.
