It is always a pleasure staying at Abdulrahman's accommodations in Lamu. His flats are beautifully designed and centrally located in Shela. Only a few minutes to the beach and restaurant. The beach cottage was absolutely amazing. My mum and I had an amazing three nights and we loved every second of it. The cottage is right next to the beach but the best beaches are about 10mins walk and another is about 10mins with the uber boats. Julius and Fondo made us delicious Swahili meals and their hospitality was top notch. Lamu is nothing like any other beaches in Kenya…it’s a must visit!

Abdillah’s place is amazing, really beautiful views and i guess you don’t realize how beautiful it is until you stay there. I had a really nice sleep, a nice view and the local recommendations provided by Abdillah, who was really patience and also flexible with the check in.

Our quick stay at Chris' was fantastic. He's so responsive and helpful and the place is beautiful - just what you need. Chris also gave us a great recommendation for a daytime dhow ride with Ahmed which we thoroughly enjoyed and was a much better deal than we were finding online. Highly recommend!
