Farmhouse quick easy access to the D-Day beaches

This is not a luxury home but comfortable. There are 2 ensuite bathrooms and another bathroom accessible to all on the second floor. All 3 bathrooms have shower stalls with no bath tub. One will find an additional restroom with toilet and sink on the ground floor. Kitchen is small, situated on a corner with large windows facing 2 directions where one can look out to left at a small court yard, with a large round table, available to guests and to the right a large public access court yard.

Located in the heart of the Normandy countryside, it is still surrounded by small villages where you will find everything you need and larger cities within a radius of about fifteen kilometers. Two nights minimum. No possibility to charge an electric vehicle.

The house, "la Roselierre", is a cocoon of greenery and flowers located 10 minutes walk from the historic center of Bayeux and 15 minutes from the landing beaches. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden filled with shrubs, roses and an aromatic garden. The house has just been tastefully renovated, the interior is cozy and the decoration is neat. It is located near Trévières (all shops), 9 km from the landing beaches (Omaha Beach) and 12 km from Bayeux (Tapestry, cathedral...) Bed linen and towels are provided.

The barn room near Omaha Beach/Bayeux

We restored and arranged this large room in an old barn. It is located on the first floor of our house and is accessed by a private entrance. We wanted to keep its old features, part of the ceiling is dirt and straw. The exposed stone walls have been restored with old-fashioned lime.
