Away from the hustle bustle, enjoy this quiet serene spot. The property is well off the highway and the neighbouring orchards screen us from traffic noise. The cottage is nestled between small avocado and mixed fruit orchards, with a view out to the small pond and post’n’rail fenced paddocks beyond. Last minute bookings are usually no problem - we respond quickly. Relax with the family (with up to 3 children) in this organic permaculture lifestyle block with animals that love being fed.

There is access to a large property with sun, fruit trees, native bush, birds, a salt water pool, and a natural estuary at the end of the driveway (kayak and paddle board available). There is an outdoor private outdoor table and bbq. A 2 minute drive to Pataua South and Frogtown beaches. It is 10 minutes to Parua Bay town, with cafe and 4 square for provisions.

We are only 75mins drive north of Auckland, 10 mins off the number one highway. The cottage is built from beautiful untreated hardwoods set in a tranquil private spot, nestled on the edge of a regenerating native forest. The cottage is only a 2min walk down to the beautiful Kaipara Harbour. Our place is part of a 25 year old 300 acre organic permaculture farm, which we were instrumental in setting up as a working farm and village style subdivision.

Only 7-10 minutes from both Mangawhai Heads surf beach & the Mangawhai Village, cafes, vineyards, bush walks and coastal tracks. Our home is perfectly set up for families. 2 bedrooms have king beds, 1 bedroom has bunks (Queen below & single above) & 1 rumpus (converted garage) has bunks (2 x single). Our home is modern, compact and functional. Dogs allowed with prior approval- pet bond required. 1 dog max.

Relax on the Kaipara Harbour

A lovely fully equipped modern cottage in a rural setting on the beautiful Kaipara Harbour (only 90 mins north of Auckland). Peaceful and private, you can lounge on the bean bags on the deck, or watch the tui as you soak in the bath. Native bush runs down to an estuary outside your floor to ceiling windows. Sheep, dogs, ducks and birdlife share the property with you as well as the occassional peacock harem.
