Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Mangawhai

The house was comfortable and clean- just like the pictures. Sarah's instructions answered all our questions, and we had everything we needed for a lovely stay. Thanks again!

What stood out from the start, is how well equipped, how clean and how well maintained it is, inside and out. The outdoor areas are awesome, the covered seating area, with heater, sit up bar table and of course the spa pool… if you like the indoor outdoor flow for the whole family, you’re going to love this place. 2 Smart TV’s (2 lounges= ideal for teens😃), easy to operate, with soundbars and subs, every detail’s been thought of (like it was your own place).! Every room has a fan.. yes, every room..! It’s like they want you to enjoy your stay.! A leisurely 3 minute drive to the heads or wood st shops and restaurants makes it a great location, in a nice quiet part of town. We’ll be back, as long as we can book in time..!!😬🤣 Awesome comms all round and YES the spa pool is spotless..👌🏽 Cheers

We had a wonderful weekend and created some truly beautiful memories in this stunning home. The fireplace was a lovely touch, especially during the chilly mornings and evenings. The kitchen was modern, stylish and very practical, with a massive island bench that worked perfectly for our group. It made cooking and sharing meals together so easy and enjoyable. The hosts were readily available through the Airbnb app whenever we had questions, and they graciously allowed us a slightly later check-out as we were having such a beautiful weekend. The instructions for using the house facilities and checking out were clear and really helpful. The spa pool was amazing and added an extra layer of relaxation to an already perfect weekend. I will definitely be coming back again. Thank you for such a memorable stay.

A spectacular experience for my partner and I. We wished we could have booked more nights! The scenery, the spa pool and just everything about this place was perfect. A nice getaway from the noise back in Auckland. The host was very accommodating. We definitely will be coming back! 5+ Star rating from us.

It was a great stay and the hosts were very friendly and helpful to make sure we had everything we needed. Despite a couple of widespread power outages, the hosts still made sure our stay was as undisturbed as possible. And made sure we had power and a warm stay through bad weather. And they even offered for us to move or cancel before hand knowing the weather and the risks that we due.

We had a truly magical time staying at Karl’s hidden gem on the beach front, we were blessed with stunning sunrises and sunsets from one mountain to another over the sea, we felt right at home here, the beachfront was truly spectacular, private and the home was so cozy and so special to be in, we are very grateful for the experience, we had the best time with lots to do and explore in the area, we were constantly blown away by how beautiful and special it was

Was in desperate need of an R&R away from the city bustle and Alison’s place was perfect. The retreat is cosy with a beautiful view. I enjoyed sitting on the deck with my tea, listening to birdsong. I was lucky to get clear night skies to look up at the stars from the outdoor hot tub. Such a lovely haven and would definitely want to come back. Alison also gave great local recommendations to visit the street marker in Waipu.

We really enjoyed our stay. Carina went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Enjoyed the little touches, well stocked kitchen, games. Highlight was watching the stars whilst enjoying the warmth of the spa pool. Thank you Carina for letting us into your home. Whangamateau is a beautiful area, with many little walks to enjoy.

This house is absolutely stunning. It sits on a private beach with magnificent sea views and a big deck looking out over the ocean. It’s surrounded by native bush, loads of birds and a feeling of privacy & serenity. The ocean-facing doors and windows all open up so it has a wonderful indoor/outdoor flow. There’s a lovely hot tub with a sea view too! Downstairs, there are the living spaces and upstairs, the bedrooms. The bedrooms are lovely - three large rooms with double (maybe queen or king??) beds, as well as two ‘kids rooms’ with twin beds and/or bunks. Two of the larger double rooms have private balconies & ensuites. It’s a beautiful & delightful house. Very well appointed. Perfect for a larger group, close to Matakana, Omaha and all of the lovely things to do there. We’ll be back! Thank you very much Rosie ❤️ The kitchen is large and well appointed, with a big gas stove & oven.

Five adults and six children had a wonderful weekend in Mangawhai, using Carolynn's house as our base. There was plenty of space for everyone to find their own corner, both inside and out. The kitchen was big enough for several cooks to work in at once and the dining table was big enough for us to all sit around so mealtimes were a treat, not a chore. Amazing view to the east, including sunrise across water and moonscape sand dunes. The spa at the end of the day was a special treat for our family, as was the large TV screen in the lounge. We missed a few books and board games but everything else was in good supply. Thank you for a special long weekend with my family Carolynn.

I cannot say enough about how beautiful Gill's home is. The surroundings are so beautiful, short drive into town where you can find everything your looking for. Gill is such a wonderful and kind host, if you have a chance to visit her home, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for making my son's wedding so special, so lucky to have met such a amazing woman.

The house is situated on top of a hill with a breathtaking view. Our families of 10 adults and 4 children spent four nights at the lodge. The house is like maze. Plenty of space for everyone. It's clean, fresh linen and towels and reliable wifi. The kitchen is very well equipped to cater for large groups. The outdoor BBQ and pizza oven were a bonus. Plenty of things for the kids too i.e. trampoline, table tennis, throwing darts and toys. Great communication from the host Daniel. He sent clear and easy to follow instructions a few days before our arrival. We want to go back again and would definitely recommend this place.

The most amazing wee getaway with absolutely incredible views. A great place to unwind and recharge in the quiet. Would absolutely recommend a hot bath under the most incredible night sky of stars.

I had the most incredible weekend stay at Mahina Treehouse in Mangawhai. The space is absolutely stunning and surrounded by nature. It was the perfect escape to explore Mangawhai. The entire space felt so peaceful and private also great to have the Pizza Oven and Spa. Kiki was a wonderful host — clear communication and made sure everything was perfect for my stay. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Linda was friendly, helpful & a great host, allowing us to arrive early on short notice & kindly offering a few extra hours on our last day. We enjoyed the stay very much w the serene private backyard & outdoor bath. Great access to the township & local pub just a stroll out the backgate! Highly recommend!

Amazing stay, pictures do not do justice to this place. Great host with very clear instructions. Will definitely be coming back for stargazing and the Jacuzzi.

We had a wonderful two days staying in Kapia Lodge. Manu's communication, brilliant booklet and photos really heightened our anticipation and everything more than lived up to our expectations. Every detail has been considered for relaxation, calm, and to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The shower and robes were amazing (where can we get our own?), the spa overlooking the water was ideal at the end of a day walking to the lighthouse. The stars were beautiful. We hope this will not be the last time we come to enjoy this gorgeous part of New Zealand, and any future getaways elsewhere will be compared to this one! Thank you so much.

I am beyond grateful for the extraordinarily beautiful home and the extra mile the hosts go to ensure a comfortable and safe stay. A weather event tried to hinder our setting but we were so safe and very secure. They gave us use of a vehicle to access the property safely. Breakfast was supplied for us and it was better than a continental buffet. With everything coming from local sources. Cant say enough to express our gratitude. That spa though.....OMG 😍 so good. Could have slept in there. Highly recommend. Im definitely booking again.

Sheryl and Ian were very warm and friendly hosts with good recommendations for local coffee and places of interest. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and loved the cute cabin details, books and artwork. The outdoor kitchen was adequate for cooking meals and the spa added a nice touch of relaxing luxury.
