What more can I say than a great stay. Rebecca was responsive as needed, the hospitality was warming, the house was beautiful, literally no complaints. For the second time being here, I will definitely be coming back!!

We had a great time at Kelly’s Lake Michigan home. Beautiful view from the back deck great for watching sunsets. We brought our pup and she had a blast lounging by the fire place. Kelly even provided dog waste bags and food and water bowls. Our 2 year old nephew was also excited to find children’s books and toys to play with. One of the best equipped Airbnb kitchens I have experienced in a while allowed us to good up family dinners without having to drive into town to eat. We will definitely stay again next time we are in Silver Lake!

The place was a perfect stay for our day of golf at Arcadia. Hosts were great and responded quickly with anything we need. Including checking on things we potentially left behind. They could not have been more spot on referring us to Grille 44 for drinks and dinner, walkable if you’re up for it. 10/10 would stay here again!

We loved our stay at the Hoxie Homestead. The location was central to all of northern Michigan’s cute towns and beaches. The property was clean and well laid-out. Loved the decor, and the master bed was super comfy and soft. The hot tub and sauna were perfect. We would certainly stay again.

We had a very short stay here but it was great! The cabin was very clean and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area!

My husband and I, along with our 3 Siberian huskies stayed for 2 nights. We wished it was for longer! Jenna granted us an extra hr for check out which we really appreciated! Also, this house is incredibly clean. We were both impressed. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. Something to note: there’s about 3-5 ft of water before you get into “muck” and the lake is full of seaweed. We brought our paddle board and floated around. The water is very clear and it was actually quite beautiful to look at the fish and even the seaweed looked beautiful. There are some deeper parts that you could definitely avoid touching any weeds. But just something to note if you plan on swimming. Also, we didn’t explore the entire lake so not sure what the far half is like. SUNRISES ARE GORGEOUS HERE! I would book this place just to watch the sunrise. And lots of wildlife. I would think kids would really enjoy it! Turtles, geese, tons of fish, loons. Again, overall highly recommend

We were impressed by the comfort and welcome of the little red cabin. The hosts were wonderful, amenities plentiful and the cabin was cozy. We very much enjoyed the fire pit and the rocking Adirondack chairs. The outdoor space allowed us to soak up the sun and gain a quiet break from the city life. Easy to drive around this area + we really enjoyed our time spent at the cabin cooking meals and spending time with our dog (it was so amazing that there were bowls there for him). The location was perfect for us. We look forward to returning for another future visit.

We had a wonderful stay. This house was well equipped in the kitchen, baths and bedrooms with quality, newer, matching pans/utensils, towels and bedding. Plenty of paper products as well. Lots of space for 7 adults, including a very comfortable living room (2nd on lower level) and beautiful deck with plenty of seating and even a Solo wood stove!

From the moment we walked in we felt comfortable and right at home. The home was super clean. Loved that with 2 couples staying here you can have some privacy with rooms on either side of the house. The host was super responsive to any questions I had. We'd definitely stay again.

Mathew’s place was wonderful and it was so close to the lifts… we loved his cozy slope side chalet! We will definitely book again in the future!

We loved our stay at Wildwood Lodge! The property is on a barely traveled road and feels secluded (only one neighbor is visible but it does not impede on enjoying any of the hang out areas). The house was really well appointed with amenities (towels, kitchen gadgets/utensils) and was kept very clean. Loved the oversized couch to hang out on and then front porch for morning coffee. The small front fenced in area was perfect for our pups. We will definitely be back!

Loved our stay here, peaceful & relaxing. Beautiful little patio to grill & enjoy the hot tub. We visited a local donut shop & Amish farm while staying here and got some delicious sweet treats, plus plenty of state parks & lakes near the area to see! Overall would highly recommend the host/location, thank you for having us!

My 4 kids, husband and I have been coming to Shanty creek resorts for over 10 years. This is the first time we stayed somewhere other than the resort hotels. We enjoyed we were able to bring our dog on this trip, we had a kitchenette, and we did more in the area because we had to drive ourselves. This gave us a chance to explore and save more money. By staying in a place more reasonable than the hotel and we were able to cook ourselves and didn't have the added expense of a dog sitter. 4girls sharing one bathroom worked out better than I thought. The cottage was beautiful! With the lake outside the back door, and several outdoor spaces to relax in, this home would be a blast in the summer. We enjoyed the fireplace, hot tub, and the cozy spots inside during a snow storm. It was perfect getaway, and look forward to coming back!

Ruth goes out of her way to make sure her guests have everything they need. She’s created a binder that includes a ton of information about the area, her listing is one of the most well stocked we’ve stayed in, and she went out of her way to make sure she was home to greet us in person. However, we did notice a bit of dust on some of the dishes, wasps in the pool house, and a snake while on a walk on the property which we weren’t really expecting.

Collin's place was perfect for our family's stay. We had a 16 month old and he had plenty of room to play. The location was perfect, only a 2 minute drive to park and go skiing. I loved that there were fans for the bedrooms lol! We went to a local bar and grill called Geno's Sports Bar and the food was Excellent! There is plenty to do at Crystal Mountain and Collin's place is a perfect spot to enjoy all the outdoor activities!!

We loved staying here! The place was cozy and peaceful and we felt at home right away. The area was quiet with very few neighbors. Sarah thought of everything, including food/water bowls and treats for our pup! The highlight was the fully stocked kitchen - we cooked most meals during our stay and whenever we realized we forgot something, it seemed to magically appear in a kitchen drawer. We would love to return next time we take a trip to the area!

If you're looking for a peaceful escape with all the comforts of home, this cute little cottage is absolute perfection. Tucked away in a quiet rural setting, it’s the kind of place that immediately makes you feel welcome and at ease. Everything about it is homey—from the cute nautical theme to the thoughtfully stocked kitchen. The large deck is perfect for a cup of coffee with birds serenading, views of wildlife, and fresh air. The fire pit is perfect for roasting marshmallows, stargazing ( northern lights), or just relaxing with a glass of wine and good conversation Highly recommended for a restful, charming getaway.

Eric was extremely responsive from start to finish. My daughter and I stayed in the mini cabin for a peaceful and private getaway while we were in the area to visit a local zoo. The cabin was elegantly simple, modern, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and cozy stay. We were truly saddened to leave this beautiful and tranquil environment. I look forward to returning in the fall and winter. The view is stunning and we really enjoyed the hiking trails on the property. Our stay was a special experience with memories to last us a lifetime. Thank you, Eric, for creating such an amazingly beautiful space for us to stay and explore!

Colleen’s house was perfect! Very spacious, everything just as it was described. It was so nice being able to bring our dog with us too. He even loved it! Colleen was very friendly and helpful through the whole process. Would definitely stay again while in the area.

Great location for access to Tippy Dam and Manistee National golf course. Very comfortable and clean. Especially loved the DVD collection and record player!

Fine family home with amenities. Great location close to beach and downtown. Room for big family including cooking and dining. We enjoyed hot tub and fire pit in back. House is posted with helpful tips and stocked with staples and condiments in fridge. Bedrooms and decor were enjoyed by the family.

This house is a perfect place for a weekend escape and has great cozy vibes to help make you feel refreshed after your stay. We have always wanted to visit Manistee in the winter and this house made our weekend getaway very special. It is close enough to downtown to walk and get coffee and visit the many restaurants and shops Manistee has to offer. It is also very close to Chopo’s Northside Bar which had live music on Saturday night and is always a welcoming space. Would love to come back and spend more time here.

This was am extremely charming place to stay. The camper had the perfect amount of space, surrounded by nature and a lot of thoughtful touches. We also used plenty of hot water with no issues at all. It seemed there was not a limited amount of heated water in the way most campers are set up, which was great. Sue was a very thoughtful host and this place exceeded our expectations in every way. I'd highly recommend it to anyone in search of the perfect glamping experience.
