Beachfront holiday rental in Manitoulin Island

Great spot to stay to explore Manitoulin. The location is very central so it's quick to drive to the top spots. Fire pit and beach access at the location is a great perk. Nano is a very friendly and responsive host, helped us with some small issues during our stay.

Our family was here for a few days on our road trip. It’s definitely a more rustic cabin. But has amazing views and we definitely enjoyed kayaking and the beach. One thing that I didn’t realize before booking is this house is on land where other family is. We didn’t run into anyone (other than the step dad showing us around when we got there) but I feel it’s worth noting. The beach is on their property too. The house also had a lot of family photos and personal belongings. Which made it almost feel like you were staying in someone’s house. All and all, it was a good stay, just feel like these would be things that people may want to know.

Our stay was lovely. So private and so beautiful. It was a grounding experience to be so close to nature. Decks with seating surround the entire cabin giving a tremendous opportunity to enjoy the outdoors.

This Airbnb is perfect. The cabin was beautiful and the view from the deck was awe inspiring. We loved going for dips everyday and the outdoor shower, was a cherry on top to the beauty. There was so much to explore and we loved being able to take the kayaks out on the water with the loons, in the early hours and night. The cabin on lake Jambo had everything that we could ever need and leaving felt like waking up from a dream. We highly recommend this incredible place and really appreciated our host Cheri. She was very responsive and thoughtful and was quick to make us feel welcome. She was a very kind and warm person which really emanated itself in the beautiful place that they have created. We enjoyed our stay at Rene’s house very much. The living area is spacious, making it the perfect space for my family reunion of 6 to hang out, play games and cook (BBQ grill, well stocked kitchen utensils and appliances, table for 6 on the porch looking out to the water, etc). The private waterfront is gorgeous - the house is located down a private and quiet road, making it a very relaxing and peaceful setting. The pre-teens also loved the badminton net and trampoline! We had no issues with the house, but Rene was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, Rene’s house and all it provided allowed us to make many lasting memories.

Very welcoming host. Space was comfortable and had everything we needed. The sauna was an awesome addition. View was beautiful. Very peaceful area. Other guests in the area but everyone is very peaceful and respectful. Will stay again!!! Bed was super comfortable!

Spent a few days here and loved every minute of it. Place is comfortable. Woodstove for chilly nights and crystal clear lake for hot days to swim in. Thanks Jay and Christine for being fabulous hosts!

We loved our time in the Loon's Nest at Limberlost Lodge! Wendy and Kenny were great hosts! The cabin was perfect for our needs and just the right size. We loved the woodburning furnace for couple of chilly days we were there. We especially loved the location right on Chub Lake, and the view from our cabin. We saw loons almost every day and canoed the beautiful lake. And the scenery in that part of Ontario was amazing. It was a peaceful and wonderful week!

Catherine was an amazing host for this location, the place was more then what we had expected. Super private location with an amazing view of the lake and sunsets. I totally recommend this location to anyone. Our host even had a welcome box of snacks and such for us as well. The location we found was also very central to anywhere on the island as well. We had an awesome time and we were very appreciative of all the amenities available for us as well.

Glenn and Judy have created an oasis for complete relaxation. You awaken to the sound of the waves lapping the shore, there is always a breeze off the water, and the vistas are beautiful. Their home is completely off grid, and rustic, with ample space to relax and four generous bedrooms so everyone has their own space. The only downside was the compost toilet, but it was a mere inconvenience compared to the pristine beauty of the surroundings. Glenn and Judy are friendly, very religious, and make you feel completely at home. Would recommend without hesitation.

Lovely well-appointed cottage with beautiful views of the lake and stunning sunrises. Would stay again in the future!

I felt at home from the time we entered the property. The cottage was very spacious and had a lot of natural light coming in. The sunroom/ living room was my favorite. You felt even when you were inside, you were still connected to the outside with all the windows. Outside it had a large deck, with a covered portion, and step down you could sunbath. The lake side was amazing, having crystal clear water and paddle boards, kayaks and a canoe. If that wasn’t enough, there was an amazing sauna that also had windows that allowed you to see the kids swimming in the lake. Bridal veil falls and the cup and saucer trails are really close by, which makes this property amazing. I will definitely book this property again.

What a beautiful place. This cottage sits on a beautiful waterfront looking over a stunning lake. We really enjoyed our stay with our kids and their grandparents. The water trampoline, kayaks, paddleboard and beach made for lots of fun. The sandy beach and flat lot with convenient fire pit make it easy to watch younger kids. The beds are very comfortable and the hosts were great.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the guest cabin. The cabin is exactly as pictured. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals, lake was beautiful and very quiet. I would definitely recommend to a friend or family member. Sanda was very kind and helpful. She knew we were coming with a baby and she purchased a pack and play as well as a waterproof cover and sheets to go with it. We appreciated that so much!There is also a baby gate and toddler toys if needed. My son and I also had some fun working on a puzzle in between playing at the lake. The game and puzzle shelf were stocked with well. Sanda also had a guest book where she has recommendations for hiking, restaurants, and other sight seeing. We will definitely be back! Thank you Sanda and family for sharing your beautiful cabin with us :)

If you are looking for 5 star luxury this is not for you....but if you are looking for 5 star super clean, quiet, amazing beach and hosts then this is for you!!!! Thank you Elaine and Gary.
