In the canoe, boat or Stand Up Paddle on the fish-rich lake (70 km² and 150 islands). Late breakfast on the jetty. Swim privately from the jetty or by the small sandy beach after the sauna. Close to Högbo Bruk with mountain bike trails, canoe trails, paddle tennis, cross-country trails and large forests. 28km to Kungsberget's ski resort for slalom & cross country skiing, hiking, bear safari. Here, you can stay in a house directly at the sea's edge in Stockholm's Archipelago. Only 30 minutes by car from central Stockholm. The house consists of a double bedroom with sea views, sleep with the window open and hear the waves. Social room with fully-equipped kitchen, sofa and armchairs. Patio in two directions with both morning and evening sun. There is a small pebble beach directly adjacent to the house, 20 meters from the house there is also a wood-fired sauna that you can borrow. Swimming dock available 100 meters from the house.

Sörängen

Relax with the family in this peaceful space. Sörängen is a charming old 19th century cottage with a modern kitchen and bathroom. Other rooms have been renovated but have preserved their old charm. Open fireplace and also wood stove. The house is located in connection to another property where there are sheep and chickens. Otherwise, the house is surrounded by forest and green areas. A smaller river to fish in is a couple of hundred meters. Swimming area within 5 km. Access to simpler outdoor gym, wood sauna, two nice bikes to borrow.

Simple overnight stay in scenic surroundings - close to the E4

Are you heading north or south in the land and needs a place to stay overnight? Just 10 minutes away from the E4 you will find this peaceful place in nature, at our retreat center. In our large hall, we rent out two simple rooms with place for a total of five people. An outdoor toilet is located 10 meters from the rooms. Bathroom with shower is available during the summer, from mid-May to September. Kitchen is not available. If you wish breakfast or dinner we can arrange it. No smokers please. Most welcome to us!

Small cozy guesthouse near lake.

Small cozy guest house on a leafy plot. 400 meters from the cottage is Lake Mälaren. Here you can swim at a jetty or small beach in the summer and ice skate in the winter. Close to a beautiful nature reserve with barbecue areas and nice forest. The cottage has a room and bathroom. It has a small, but fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. There is a bed (140 cm) as well as a folding guest bed (70 cm). In the bathroom, there is a washing machine, shower and toilet. Sheets and towels included.

Privat small apartment with a separate entrance in a house from 1969. Nice, quiet and comfortable -perfect for one person and to stay longer. Full equipped smaller kitchen and a bathroom with shower, washing machine,comfortable bed, armchair, lots of wardrobes. You live by yourself and you don’t share anything. Gamla Uppsala is 4 km north of Uppsala city, nice, quiet and very close to the nature. The highway E4 is close and you can go by bus, bike or walk to city, it’s 100m to the busstop.

Lakefront house with jetty, boat and great fishing

Charming lakeside house for 2–4 people, 20 km north of Uppsala and 90 km from Stockholm. One bedroom with two 80 cm beds (joinable to 160 cm), plus a 90 cm sofa bed and floor mattress in the kitchen/living room. Just 10 m from the water, with private beach, jetty, and a peaceful end-of-road location. Lake Långsjön is popular for fishing, with no card needed in about half the lake (up to the only island). Rowing boat included.

Cozy cottage by Källsjö – sauna, boat & close to nature

This cottage offers a peaceful and natural accommodation by a spring lake with fresh water, which is well suited for washing and hygiene. The cabin is of a simpler standard and lacks high voltage and hot shower. The power supply is via a 12-volt system, which is sufficient for simpler lighting. However, the capacity is limited. There is the possibility to charge mobile phones via sockets, as well as access to TV with DVD.
