We absolutely loved staying at the Peacock Apartment. The place is even more beautiful than the pictures. All the reviews gushing about this place are true. The hostess was kind and understanding with our check-in, and it really was like a little Paradise in the middle of the city. The location is very easy to get to and close to a freeway. There are a lot of markets close by if you want to cook at home. We stayed in every morning and just enjoyed the gardens. There were also a lot of rocking chairs so it was so nice to just laze about. We will definitely be coming back here specifically the next time we come to Houston. Thank you so much Selia!!!

I really loved how central the location was. I could easily get to Midtown and surrounding neighborhoods in under 15–20 minutes. The studio itself was super cute and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The decor was lovely, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful, even recommending nearby stores when I needed something. Everything was seamless from start to finish. I’d definitely consider staying here again!

Had a wonderful stay at Jeff's place! Host's have gone the extra mile to make things super comfortable & convenient. Communication was great & they are extremely thoughtful in every way. Had everything I needed & then some - extra towels, laundry detergent, coffee creamer, a luggage rack, etc. Very clean & well stocked. Bed was comfortable. I felt safe in the neighborhood. I was able to park in front of their house with no issues. This is close to Texas Medical Center & MD Anderson - an easy, quick drive from the house. This host does an excellent job. I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation!

Awesome home!! We were so happy with our stay that we definitely plan on staying there again when visiting Houston. First of all, Kelly was a great host and was extremely responsive and clear. The home was in great shape with a very well equipped kitchen and plenty of comfortable seating in the living room. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were great too. Loved the counter space in the primary bath. Backyard was awesome with a nice shaded porch with furniture, a propane fire pit and a grill (we didn’t use the grill, but there were specific directions on how to). Neighborhood was nice and quiet and relatively close to stores and restaurants. Finally everything was very clean and the home smelled great. One of the best rentals we’ve had!

This was hands-down one of the best stays we’ve ever had as a family! My son and daughter absolutely loved it — from the private pool and mini golf to the cozy bunk beds and foosball table, they were entertained from start to finish. We followed the handbook and did everything it recommended — beach time, Galveston State Park, Waterman’s restaurant, and even ping pong tournament by the parking area. Everything was spot-on! The home is beautifully designed, super clean, and felt like a true home away from home. The views of the park from the deck were stunning, and the sunsets were magical. The hosts were thoughtful and responsive, and we appreciated all the small touches. Thank you for helping us create amazing memories. We’re already talking about coming back! We enjoyed the stay! The place was located near anything you needed. Friendly neighborhood and well maintained. A beautiful lake to walk around and the grand babies even caught some fish. Catch and release of course. Highly recommended.

We needed a place to stay last minute after our house was damaged being struck by lightning. We found this rental and were able to book the same day. They were very accommodating, always responsive, and very kind. My sons, husband, and I really enjoyed all of the amenities in the backyard, especially the pool and the hot tub. This is a home you can rent and never have to leave because there are so many things to do! Highly recommend to anyone considering this rental!

This is a perfect place to getaway for an extended stay or even a quick weekend. The home is very clean and well maintained. They provide all the basic essentials you could need during your stay. The location is phenomenal, right on the seawall with a relaxing and peaceful view. We really enjoyed this trip and felt very much at home. Terra and Darin’s place was absolutely perfect for our little girls getaway trip. The unit was exactly as described, very clean and had easy access to parking AND the beach. And it was VERY well stocked. Communication was fast and they even allowed us a little leeway on the arrival time. I’d definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a beachfront unit in the Galveston area.

The condo is well-stocked with dishes, cookware, and bathroom amenities. There is also a chest on the balcony containing a variety of recreational items for the beach. And there's a full-sized washer and dryer. I'll keep this on my list when I return.
