The home is gorgeous. So tranquil and peaceful -- my family took a week-long vacation on Vashon and Brita's was the perfect jumping-off point. The location is super private, the home architecture is extraordinary, and the backyard garden is expansive. If you're looking for a great place to rest and recharge, this is it. There is a lot of great dishware, artistic elements in the home, and incredible views throughout the home, especially in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom.

Beautiful home in a nice neighborhood. Everything was neat and clean. Beds were comfortable. Our kids loved the ping-pong table and lower hangout area. This place was perfect for our family to spread out and relax.

My buddies and I stayed here for a weekend for a bachelor trip. The house was very tucked away and you had all the privacy you needed. We had such a great time! The hot tub was definitely a highlight. The house was also spotless and seemed brand new. Ryan was super easy to communicate with and made things much simpler for us. I would suggest this place for anybody just trying to get away and have a great time with either friends or a significant other.

Peaceful, warm atmosphere with lots of space. Love the view out the living room window of the beautiful, green, forest-like backyard. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Lovely house with water views right within a quick drive of many Seattle area attractions. We had a great stay for a May wedding in the area. Allison has put a lot of thought into the house, with fun games, comfortable beds, and clear instructions for everything. Nearby Poulsbo is high on our list of recommendations.

We absolutely loved our short time here! The home is exactly as described, one of the cleanest Airbnbs I've stayed in, and has an unbelievable view. We saw a family orcas, porpoises, and a seal from the deck! Rose is very responsive and sent all information we needed to use and access the home and amenities! The community hall is also terrific and a great place to meet other visitors/residents of the island. We will definitely be coming back! :)

This was one of the best air bnb stays I’ve ever had! It perfectly suited my needs as a musician on tour coming through Seattle. I loved all the details of the space…the wallpaper, the bathroom hooks, the laundry basket, and the kitchen supplies. Given that I was there for four nights, It was so nice to really feel at home. The bed was super comfy, the neighborhood was quiet and located close to Seahurst park and the charming town of Burien, and just a short drive into the city and even shorter drive to the airport. The host Alison was so friendly, which made me feel safe to be there. Would recommend and would stay again!

Having stayed at dozens of rental homes around the country, its easy for me when I come across a standout like this property. The home is possibly the best appointed rental I have ever stayed in. If you intend to hang out at the house and enjoy the scenery, the back yard and kitchen are perfectly set up to entertain your guests. My family and I did not notice a single thing that we wanted or needed that was not on hand. Anyone looking to rent a property in this area of Washington, I would highly recommend this home! Im sure I will be back one day.

The house was spacious and new. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were crisp and white. The bathrooms were very clean. All in all, beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood even though it’s on a main road. Ryan was very communicative. We had some issues but they were taken care of ASAP. Highly recommend

We enjoyed our stay at the groovy lagoon very much! The hosts thought of everything from spices to having a big bottle or olive oil on hand, umbrellas, lots of beach towels. The kayaks were great but one doesn’t have a back rest which makes for a tougher time relaxing on it. The deck is lovely and we spent a lot of time out there, it could use an outdoor sofa but I understand it rains and might get moldy. The living room was a little smaller than the pictures and just has a small seat and the couch. If our whole family was there we wouldn’t all fit in the couch. Overall we loved our stay here and even when it was windy out the deck is super protected and calm. The heated floor in the bathroom was nice as well. The bedding was nice. It’s actually a 10 min drive to gig harbor but we liked being away from the hustle of the harbor to be honest.

We had a great stay at Miles's place. It was everything we hoped it would be. Just like a home away from home. The house was clean and cozy and perfect for a couple who want to spend time in Tacoma. We picked this location because it was close to where our family lives, so we could visit them frequently, go for walks at Point Ruston and Point Defiance Park and visit Proctor and the other fun neighborhoods in the area. Excellent Supermarkets, too.

2nd visit to this wonderful house. Great for families with teens or young adults - between the pool table, the kayaks and the space itself. We'll be back!

We had a wonderful 4 nights at Margaret’s place. It was so magical. There were so many great trees around the property and it just felt so peaceful and inviting. I felt right at home and we really enjoyed being outside in the coolness of mid-May, and the forest smell from all the trees. All the beds were comfortable. Margaret was a great host and the house is exactly like the pictures. 10/10 would stay here again!

Our stay at Laura and Stanton's place was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we booked, they were incredibly responsive, making sure every detail was taken care of. Their home is not only beautiful but also perfectly located—just a short walk to the beach, in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood that made for a truly relaxing getaway. One of the most delightful aspects of our stay was spending time on the deck, where we had frequent visits from birds throughout the day, adding to the serene atmosphere. It was such a joy to soak in nature while enjoying the comfort of this lovely space. We were very fortunate that Renee’s property was available for the 4 days we needed. This was the end of a very busy 3 weeks in the US, and the peaceful house with a deck on the water with seals and otters playing was just what we needed to unwind before the long journey home to Australia. Renee is a lovely host who kept in contact to ensure our stay was as pleasant as possible. So thankful for the opportunity.

We spent our christmas holiday for 10 days at Sam's property with my two grandkids and my daughter and her husband. It was absolutely magical. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks and cold plunged! The kids loved the house and literally cried when we had to leave. The backyard is perfect for kids. We really gave the fireplace a workout. It is a really beautiful wood burning (can't find that too often) fireplace that added to the coziness of the home. The layout of the home is perfect for families. It has a great room that allows you to see everything going on which is very relaxing when travelling with a 3 and 4 year old. The kitchen has spacious countertops and top end appliances. The home has 3 - yes 3 - bathrooms that are all full bathrooms with showers or tub. The view from the house is outstanding. I will miss waking up to that view with my coffee. I would highly recommend. Sam - thank you for helping make this stay perfect!

Marjorie’s place was perfect for our needs & very accessible to I-5 & the surrounding area as well as our son & his family who live in Lacey. We had a minor issue with the back door smart lock, but Marjorie was very responsive to resolve the issue. Marjorie’s place was beautiful & very well maintained. Would definitely recommend this property. Just keep in mind that there are no grocery stores in DuPont, so you will need to get groceries in neighboring cities close by.
