Peaceful stay for a week. Beautiful elevated location with panoramic views. Rocabella restaurant at the bottom of the track was great if you dont feel like venturing out far, with a varied menu from light bites to main dishes with burgers, steaks and fish.. My advice would would be to grab some basic groceries from a supermarket prior to going up to the house i.e coffee, bread eggs , drinks etc. I travelled with my ederly mother and the accomodation was suitable for our needs as she is unable to manage steps. There is one twin room downstairs with a bathroom and walk in shower which is next to the kitchen , lounge and outside patio so easy access for her with limited mobility. its would not be suitable for a wheelchair however. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with doors opening onto a patio with table and chairs, perfect for your morning coffee to relish the sun rise and sunsets, and also affording privacy if travelling with others in your group. I throughly enjoyed my stay. 😊

We went to the country house with friends and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. The idea that the bedrooms are downstairs and the rest of the rooms in the house are upstairs seemed very good to us for those who wanted to rest. Everything was very clean and the house is as shown in the listing. Alejandro is very friendly and gave us perfect directions to get there and to the parking area, since it's a small town and not all the streets are suitable for parking. Besides, the village is beautiful. We will definitely be back !!!

This villa is like heaven on earth! I have never been to a more beautiful place in my life.. the surroundings are paradise.. large cypress trees surround the villa and large extensive grounds.. there is a beautiful large celebrity worthy pool and stunning log table with Greek style tiled gazebo! The villa was clean and comfortable and had everything you could possibly need! There are fabulous tennis courts and plenty of seating in the grounds over looking the acres of land! Every corner had something more fabulous! We also had visits from a gorgeous little dog which made our trip! I cannot praise this beautiful place enough! Heaven on earth!!!!

A wonderful holiday in a fantastic Casa Rural that will remain unforgettable for us. With the warm welcome of Reyes and Luis (who were always there for us), we immediately felt at home. In the house with the pretty patio, the nicely tiled bathrooms etc. also really like in Andalucía. The two jacuzzis are then the absolute cherry on the cake. We visited the train station from the 3-minute walk away by train Cordoba and Seville as well as explore the nearby area (Carmona!) by car. In the afternoon, we looked forward to returning to our relaxing oasis. Restaurants in the village itself difficult, supermarkets but 2 minutes walking distance and butcher's shop next door. It was great and we would be happy to come back...just longer!

The nice house with the beautiful garden is in a beautiful location. There is also a nice swimming pool. Juana and Andrés always responded to apps or calls right away. Glad we could stay another extra night. Recommended!

We had a wonderful 2-week stay at Casas de Almajar in July of 2024. My 7yo daughter and I were there along with friends, for a total of two adults and 2-3 kids at any given moment, ages 6-10. This accommodation was perfect for us. The house was cozy and stayed relatively cool during the very hot daytime hours (plus there was an A/C unit we could use when needed). We prepared most of our meals at the house and found that easy to manage with the supplies on hand. The pool was definitely the highlight of the location: it was pristine and extremely pleasant during the hot days. We spent hours there every day. The house is located uphill from most of Prado del Rey so you need to be prepared for some steep, hilly walking when you stay here, but it was only a <5 min walk to the main pedestrian walkway (lined with bars and cafes) or the town square. Juana was very helpful with local information and suggestions, from supermarkets and restaurants to nearby hiking trails. A great place!

It is a fantastic country house with all the comforts of a normal house. The children had a great time in the pool and everything is very well equipped. He also let us leave in the afternoon to take advantage of the day, which we greatly appreciate. We'll be back for sure!

Spotless home in a quiet location with beautiful views. Helpful host who left provisions for us on arrival. Would recommend to anyone looking to explore nearby Pueblas Blancas and the nearby Sierra de la Grazalema.

The house was great - very spacious for four of us. The location is about 10 min from the end of the Caminito del Rey - we parked in El Chorro and appreciated not getting back on a shuttle bus to get to our car. The views are amazing and 360 around the house. It was hot weather while er were there but the AC works great, and plenty of shade by the pool. Groceries are not close by so stock up before you arrive! Juan was a great host!

My girlfriend and I stayed at Jarandalus for 5 days, looking for a peaceful home in beautiful surroundings, and we got exactly that. The house and gardens are amazing, and the views are breath taking. The home feels luxurious, and Salvador and Isabel were warm and welcoming when we arrived, and Salvador was available and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The barbecue was excellent, the pool was lovely, and we greatly enjoyed being in the grounds of the house. The location has fantastic views and is close to several small towns, and only 30 minutes from Ronda, so is convenient but is at enough distance to give a peaceful and quiet stay. This was well worth the money, we loved our stay, and hope to return some day in the future.

A gem in the middle of the hills surrounded by nature. The location of the house is simply wonderful. You have a 360-degree panoramic view. The pool is flat at the front and 2 meters deep at the back so you can jump in easily. The area offers many seating and lounging areas to relax. The house is charmingly built in the Spanish style and very clean. There is nothing missing, whether electric orange juicer, coffee machine, etc. Everything necessary is available. About spices, aluminum foil, shampoo, shower gel, garbage bags, toilet paper, towels everything was available in sufficient numbers we did not have to buy anything. We felt completely comfortable. The city of Colin is 5 km away. There you will find a variety of restaurants and supermarkets, which we also appreciated. Jesus is a very nice, accommodating landlord who is immediately available for any problems or questions and provides remedies. Thank you Jesus for such a beautiful time in your house.

Paqui and Jose Antonio were wonderful hosts and met us on arrival in a nearby restaurant to handover keys and direct us to the villa. The villa is superb and perfect for a quiet getaway which is exactly what we were after. It is just a short drive to the town of Coín which has an array of shops and restaurants. We ventured out for some great day trips including Ronda (hour drive west), Nerja (hour drive east), Malaga (30min drive) and a nice quiet beach (Playa del Peñón del Cuervo). The villa felt very spacious for the three of us and could easy accommodate more people. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need as well as an outdoor bbq and great seating. The three of us enjoyed returning to the villa after trips and relaxing round the pool each day. Would certainly recommend for anyone wanting to visit Malaga or the nearby areas and for those looking for a quiet getaway. We would write even more positive feedback if this section did not have a word limit!

My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at Maria's place. The house is very cozy with all you need to prepare meals at home if you wish. The views over the Ronda countryside were stunning, and the garden surrounding the house was also delightful. Ronda city is just a 15-minute drive away.

This was one of the best holidays we have had. The mountains are incredibly beautiful, the town is not too far away, Malaga is great for beaches, town, restaurants, shopping and history! Juan is very friendly and happy to help and manager Jenni is always on hand to answer questions and visit to make sure that everything is going smoothly. The pool is compact but still wonderful for a dip at any time. It is clean and very well maintained. The terrace is beautiful to sit at all times. This is a wonderful place. Thank you for our stay!

The house is great, it has everything you could need for a large group, such as a barbecue, oven, several refrigerators. Everything was very clean and beautiful, and the pool area is spectacular. We were a group of friends with children for a weekend and we had a great time. Jose Luis was very kind, and answered all our questions quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

A great place to spend time with family, surrounded by mountains. Parents will find peace, while kids can have fun in the pool. Everyone enjoyed playing ping pong in the terrace. Inside the house, there’s enough space for two families. There are air conditioners in every room, although we didn’t use them at all – even when it was +30°C outside, the house stayed pleasantly cool. Arriving at the villa at night felt a bit extreme, so it’s important not to rely solely on navigation – pay attention to the signs as well, especially when you’re close to the villa. Jose is a very warm and friendly host 👌

We enjoyed the accommodation very much. The location to some tourist points such as Ronda or the Caminito del Rey was great, the terraces of the property and the pool great. Also inside the house is equipped with attention to detail, only the kitchen could be a little better equipped. Thank you so much for the great time!

Of you like peace and quiet, don't mind a kitchen with a low sink (from 1910 I think) and other authentic things this may be your place. Pedro is helpfull, flexible and friendly. loved the pool, the spacious garden where even a large company can find a place to split up, the beds (with just the pillow I can sleep on) are good. We had cleaning service halfway which was great. The only thing for me was the entrance which has a rather tight turn where I would not be able to drive a larger car through. The surroundings are just beautiful with quite a few places to go to within 30 minutes drive. I'd consider going here again if we didn't have the "policy" of going new places every time.
