Marcus, Evans & North Gorge ..all of which are part of the beautiful 123 mile Lake Roosevelt. We are w/in one hour or less of Deer, Loon, and Waitts Lake. Only 30 miles from the ski mountain 49 degrees North. If you want to hike or ride horses, we are w/in minutes of the Kettle Crest trail…some of the most scenic trails around.

The cabin was handcrafted by the owner to include log beds, dining table, and other accents. Enjoy modern amenities in a cozy atmosphere. This is the perfect place to get away from it all and enjoy a quiet weekend with endless night skies. There isn’t anywhere quite like Cougar Creek.

Big Rock Ranch at French Rock Estates

Wonderful place to stay and makes a great base camp for exploring the area. The site itself is very private with the owners house is further up the hill. It’s far enough away that you feel like they are a neighbor. Speaking of Thomas, he is good people and I very much enjoyed talking with him. Back to the site itself. It’s right in the middle of the area. 30 mins west is the well maintained and beautiful Kettle Crest Trail. 20 mins east is the nearest grocery store. The place is a luxurious RV that is well maintained and has a fully stocked kitchen. The best part is the front porch that overlooks the water and wildlife. Bring a camera!

We loved staying at the house in Metaline. It was cozy and rustic but also had some nice modern amenities. The dogs loved the big back yard, and we'd love to come back in the spring to take advantage of the river. Highly recommend American Pie down the street, we ate dinner there twice. Thank you!

Great place. Exceptionally clean and the old carpet did not smell at all. Mattress was on the softer side which we love but maybe not for everyone. Very steep ladder to go upstairs. Make sure to screenshot directions/ house code before you arrive as no service! Had a great time kayaking and fishing. Would come again for a quiet weekend getaway! Shawn was quick to respond and accommodating to all needs.

Tammy’s ranch is a wonderful place to stay! The Hunter’s Cabin is a great little getaway next to a little pond with horses roaming nearby. It was a nice relief to hear the chatter out in nature, from the birds to the frogs, it was like a wildlife’s symphony :) Even though the little cabin itself has no power or water, it is a great and affordable choice instead of a tent! All the amenities you’d need are within walking distance, including a clean bathroom facility with a large shower, an outdoor kitchen, laundry room, and even a cell boosting area to help with cell coverage and recharge your phone! Tammy is a gracious and thoughtful host who stopped by to make sure I made it in okay and took the time to patiently show me around after checking out to see the upper bunkhouses. These looked cozy and wonderful, with a kitchenette inside. I would most likely book one of these bunkhouses next time, only because I’m better with the cozy heat over cold nights :) But if someone is prepared with a warm sleeping bag, a lantern, and a lighter to enjoy the firepit at the Hunter’s Cabin, this is such a great idea! I would definitely stay here again!
