Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Marengo

This was our 3rd (or 4th!) stay at the Cottesloe Beach Shack. Gorgeous stay as always, Rebecca super helpful and we just love this place. Super dog friendly with lots of space for everyone. The recent renovations and updates are gorgeous, including the new outdoor space - we can't wait to get back to use it in some warmer weather! Look forward to getting back again soon.

We had a great time here for the last three days good for family getaway

Simon and Mella’s home was absolutely perfect for our family wedding weekend. The house was ideal for three families and our grandchildren loved the games and trampoline. The house well equipped and had everything (and more) than we could have asked for. The views were magnificent and the surrounds were so very peaceful. Time in the hammock and looking out to the ocean is a must if you stay at 180 Vista! Simon and Mella responded immediately to any questions l had and were extremely accommodating with check in times. Thank you Simon and Mella!

Amazing property, spacious, clean, cosy even though very big. Felt very comfortable in this house, generous provisions by host, fabulous home close to everything Torquay had to offer. Highly recommend.

Wow - what a gorgeous home in a great location. We came together for a family gathering and the space was perfect for all. The view was stunning and the whole place was just so warm and inviting … particularly on a wet long weekend. Close to lots of things to do and places to eat. Home away from home. Highly recommend. We’ll be back!

Lucy’s place was absolutely perfect! The house was beautifully lit, spotless, and incredibly well-maintained — everything felt fresh, clean, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. It was also super dog-friendly, which made the stay even more enjoyable for our 2 furry family members. The host was fantastic — warm, responsive, and made sure everything we needed was provided, with clear instructions for check-in, appliances, and amenities. Every little detail was thought of. The location is unbeatable — just a short walk to the beach, making it ideal for both relaxation and daily adventures. Hands down, this is one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. I’d give it more than 5 stars if I could. Already looking forward to coming back!

Fantastic place for the Great Ocean Road Race - just a short walk down to the bus stop. The place itself was very spacious, very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend

Perfect place for a family get away, walking distance to beach and close to all amenities.

We enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing two-night stay at Glen View as a stopover during our Melbourne to Adelaide journey on the Great Ocean Road. Johanna is a truly beautiful section of the GOR where rolling green hills and farmlands meet the ocean. The cottage is delightfully laid out and well provisioned, with quality bedding and toiletries, a lovely fire-place and a shed full of wood (and reverse cycle a/c for the summer months and the impatient!) A visit to the chicken shed to collect farm fresh eggs and the orchard for some lemons was a nice treat for us suburbanites! The kitchen is fully functional with pretty much all equipment you could need, including a coffee machine. Absolutely loved it! Highly recommend!!!

Beautiful house to stay at! We all had the best time and felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Heaps of room for the kids to run around and burn their energy. Great place to stay for a family holiday we had 11 of us in the house and we al had our own space and heaps of room to have dinner and watch movies all together.

We had a great long weekend away at Chris’ property. The house had plenty of space for us all with amazing views despite the wet weather of the weekend. We were kept warm and dry with the wood fire and heaters in all bedrooms. Would highly recommend and stay again.

Yet another return stay at Cosy at Front Beach and Marnie was, as usual, accommodating, kind and amazing in helping at short-notice. Always a hit with our family and love that we are only walking distance to our fave eateries in Torquay! Looking forward to the next stay already!

Elite farm stay!! We had four families with lots of toddler aged kids. The farms animals were a real hit with the kids (and adults). Beautiful indoor fire and lots of space to spread out. The sauna was a nice touch too.

A great beach getaway in the perfect secluded location. Close to Anglesea but not too close to deal with the busy crowds. Amazing beach location and house has every amenity you could need and wish for. The spa and log fireplace was a special!

We had a great Easter weekend at Robyn's place. I was really surprised how big the place was, much bigger than the pictures showed I thought. We loved feeding the animals on the farm and my son really enjoyed the chickens. It was really nice to have our dogs too, they had a blast! Thank you for all the treats you supplied for us, it was such a nice touch. Thank you for everything.

I was in Apollo Bay for the Great ocean rd marathon and wanted to stay over a couple of days. Genevieve’s place is close to Apollo Bay and on the right side of the road closures so was perfect for me. I had a comfortable stay and was made to feel welcome. Thank you.

A very last minute booking (midnight the night before!) but exactly what we needed to give our brains a break. The house and surrounds are beautiful and our hosts were very responsive (confirmed by 7:30am the morning after we booked) and so helpful with requests for information about local dog walks and activities. Thank you. We will be back.

Wilhe’s place was perfect for a long cosy weekend away on a rainy weekend. Only a short drive into Apollo Bay but felt so peaceful in the mountains amongst the trees. We loved the wood fire, the comfy bed and just felt that the space had everything we needed - including umbrellas. Highly recommend!

Sharon’s place was peaceful private and had beautiful lush green surroundings. The house is cozy clean and comfortable. The beds and pillows were comfortable, clean linen and towels. The fireplace kept us warm and cozy with lots of firewood. The property feels remote even though it’s just 20 mins from Apollo bay. and having no Wi-Fi or phone reception made it feel like a really peaceful getaway. We had fun exploring the property playing board games by the fire swinging on the swing outside and making pizzas in the wood fired pizza oven.

Such a beautiful studio right near Marengo Beach! Everything was so easy to find - I was just popping down for one night for work and was so happy they were a pet friendly option along the Great Ocean Road (tricky to find!) Will definitely book again!

Samfire is a beautiful property, super close to two beaches and walkable to any part of Apollo Bay. The property is brand new, very well designed and well fitted, a rare find. Quiet surroundings and a super comfortable property makes it very hard to get out and explore Apollo Bay and surrounds. Will absolutely recommend.

Carol’s place was absolutely perfect for our needs! It was so cosy, the indoor fire was gorgeous and the location was great being only a few minutes walk to the general store and local pubs. The kitchen was very well stocked which made cooking for 6 easy. We would love to come back and stay again! Thanks again Carol
