Waterfront holiday rentals in Margate Beach

Loved the beach access, straight out on to the sands and nice garden to sit in. Easy to use TV with helpful instructions. Lots of kitchen stuff to cook meals, not that we did. Found Chris extremely helpful and very comprehensive instructions for parking, checking in, and all the facilities including photographs.

If you want sea and beach views together with convenience of being close to town with its various pubs, local bakery and restaurants then this is the place to be. The balcony is great for people watching, sea views and sunsets: the weather was great. Thanks, Josie.

We had a wonderful weekend stay in Deal. Roger’s place is a perfect place, close to the beach, shops and pubs. Lovely and clean and everything we needed for our stay. We would highly recommend Roger as a host. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

Nicole’s space offers gorgeous views of the water and the city, and has everything to make your stay comfortable. I would recommend, beware of the 5 flights of narrow stairs, but it makes the view worth it.

The apartment is beautifully presented and so clean - we felt really comfortable straight away. The location is fantastic and perfect for a stay with a dog as the beach is just a few steps away. Would highly recommend this property for a chilled out break

It’s so lovely when a host provides a few necessities…Stephen goes above and provides a wealth of items!! We had more bread, cereal, jam, croissants etc than we could use. Plus a bottle of proseco 😊. A really nice place to stay. The throw rugs were appreciated on chilly nights. Great communication.

Fantastic flat in an amazing location right on Viking Beach. Host was easy to communicate with and flexible (I got an earlier check-in than the listed 4pm). And they leave a fantastic welcome basket that included stuff like locally produced lemonade and crisps, coffee/milk and essentials like loo roll. The flat is very clean (though the carpet could perhaps have a deep wash in a couple of spots) and quiet at night. You’ll just be listening to the waves as they roll in 😃. Bed is super comfy and the bedroom and lounge are very homely. Bathroom was top notch with a walk in rainfall shower. I was woken one morning by the pub down the bay loading/ unloading beer barrels 🤣. But I simply woke up and sat on the balcony. Flat felt very secure as there is a door to the building, a front door to the flat then a further internal door you can lock. Fantastic location for town, Margate, Ramsgate and beautiful coastal walks. I stayed in this flat in 2017 and 2025 and will book again.

The location of the house was perfect. Within easy walking distance of the town and the beach. The house was very comfortable and homely and had everything we needed as 6 adults for a long weekend. Breakfast on the balcony was the best.

Superb location overlooking the sea and with many and varied eating places in the vicinity. Lovely to have two lounges overlooking the sea and a large farmhouse table in the well resourced kitchen. Some superb historic and cultural places to visit nearby including: Margate (40 mins by train) to see Turners’ Contemporary Art Museum and also Tracey Emin’s Art Studios; Canterbury Cathedral (40 mins by bus) to see the historic and spectacular first cathedral in Engkand and St Augustine’s Abbey in such a beautiful city; Dover (20 mins s by car) to see the Historic Castle, Tunnels and White Cliffs; Ramsgate (bus/car 15 min drive) to see a classic Victorian Seaside with an unusual Wetherspoons built into the Pavillion; Broadstairs (10 mins drive further) to see Charles Dickens houses which inspired him to write - including Bleak House; Deal itself with its Saturday afternoon outdoor market and a 15 minute walk to the very significant Walker Castle. An amazing week with plenty of varied sigh

Jacqui's place is a hidden gem, the photos don't do it justice. Plenty of space for our group, and a very well equipped place for us to relax and cook. Beautiful views of the sea, super easy check-in and a very lovely host - highly recommend!

Jamie and Ricki were amazing at keeping in contact and giving us all the information needed for our stay. 10/10 hosts! Apartment is very well decorated, clean and tidy with all the essentials you’ll need. The arcade machine is a great addition! Three adults slept in the bedrooms up the steep steps and we had no issues! Apartment is so close to everything! If you’re bringing your furry friends, you can walk along the promenade right the way to Palm Bay Beach, which is a beautiful, all year round dog friendly beach. Whilst there are loads of bars and restaurants close by, we couldn’t get enough of the incredible view from the living room so spent our evenings with a bottle of wine and some games whilst we watched the sunset over the harbour! Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful apartment! We’re already discussing when we can get the family altogether again to return! I will also be highly recommending this place to anyone looking for a sea-side get away!

Booked this for my Husbands 70th. 5 couples so, having a bedroom with en-suite for everyone was a real find. The location was superb, everything in walking distance. Sally provided recommendations for a dinner on the Saturday evening. We went to the Royal Hotel (across the road). It was a perfect w/e and the weather helped. We had sea views and right on the front. Cinema room in the basement was fab and we couldn’t fault a thing. Thanks Sally

Honestly, words can’t describe how grateful I am for Sheila and to be able to stay here to celebrate my birthday. Absolutely amazing communication!! So kind and friendly. The house was amazing and THE VIEW was incredible. I cannot recommend this place enough. I would more than come back here again. But if you’re looking for a sign to book this place, this is it!! My wife and I had a fantastic stay at Nic’s beautiful place! Check-in was easy, the booklet provided had very concise, easy to follow instructions on how to operate the various things throughout. The property was beautifully decorated and close to the sea, providing stunning scenery, sounds and smells. Thank you Nic for hosting us and we look forward to returning in the future!

We've had such a lovely time at the flat, the panoramic sea views are stunning and the beds are very comfortable. Ella very kindly let us check in early and sent very clear instructions of how to check in as well as a great list of things to do nearby. It's up two flights of stairs but didn't feel too steep and the view was more than worth it. It was great being so close to Walpole pool plus the beautiful seafront walk into Margate. We hope to return!

Sue was terrific. She could not have been more accommodating when our party of 3 became 4 (to include a young grandson) and she provided us with cereals and goodies for him and a bed guard rail. Her lovely apartment is beautiful, light, airy and comfortably furnished with excellent quality appliances and fixtures/fittings. The beds were wonderfully comfortable. A superbly designed and appointed apartment. Thank you Sue. Our stay was short but perfect.

Great property. Pics don’t do it justice. We really felt at home. Super close to the beach and park for the dogs. So many amenities, even a spare toothbrush - which i had forgotten at home. Thank you for having us.

The flat was in a great location and easy to walk to wherever we needed. Aside from having a beautiful interior, the views over the sea were also stunning. Edward also very kindly let us check in early which ended up being a big help, so thank you!

Michelle was super helpful. The view from the kitchen was amazing, there are lots of cutlery and glasses available and she even has games like Jenga, Operation and Uno which are great for evenings in.

We were greeted by Phil and Jenny who made us very welcome and they went through a few things with us. The accommodation was first class with a view outstanding. Everything was of good quality and the bed was comfortable. The walk in shower was great and hot. What more could anyone possibly require We will go again. Many thanks Phil and Jenny
