We absolutely loved our stay in Castè — it was a magical place. Peaceful, beautiful views, an inviting courtyard with fairy lights and fireflies. The apartment was clean and filled with antique furniture and lovely details. Gianni and Antonella were very accommodating, meeting us at check in and showing us everything to ensure we were comfortable. They also spent the first 30 minutes, explaining sites to see in Cinque Terre, where to eat, park the car, and some insider tips. We felt right at home and can't wait to go back!

Siamo stati felicissimi di soggiornare nella casa di Massimo! La casa è accogliente, curata nei minimi dettagli, pulitissima e arredata con grande gusto. Si respira un’atmosfera di tranquillità e positività, perfetta per rilassarsi. Massimo è un host eccezionale: gentilissimo, sempre disponibile e molto attento. È stato un vero piacere conoscerlo e sentirsi così ben accolti. Grazie di cuore per questa meravigliosa esperienza — non vediamo l’ora di tornare!

Absolutely stunning bijou property. Breathtaking views (almost feel you are in the sea) - you are so close to it. The terrace garden was perfect for watching the sun go down. There is an abundance of shrubbery around the edges with the beautiful scent of jasmine everywhere. The property was spotlessly clean equipped with everything we needed. Exceptionally welcoming and friendly host(s). Cristine and her husband were so proactive in assisting with getting to the property from the car park. Overall 11 out of 10.

Hier ist die überarbeitete Version mit dem Zusatz zur Umgebung und dem Wunsch, wiederzukommen: ⸻ Die Unterkunft liegt in einer ruhigen, idyllischen Gegend und ist perfekt, um abzuschalten und zu entspannen. Das Haus war sauber und die Küche mit allem ausgestattet, was man im Alltag braucht. Die Kommunikation mit Ilaria war jederzeit freundlich und unkompliziert – alles hat super geklappt. Das Highlight ist der große, sehr gepflegte Garten mit vielen verschiedenen Pflanzen – ein richtig schönes, grünes Paradies. Der Pool macht das Ganze noch besser. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder!

Alloggio splendido! ci è piaciuto molto come è arredato l'interno e l'esterno. Il giardino mi è piaciuto particolarmente. tanti angoli suggestivi da scoprire, con statue nascoste nel verde e piccoli tavolini. Location ideale per passare un weekend nel verde in relax lontano dalla città.

Maria Victoria ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin. Sie war immer erreichbar und gleichzeitig sehr diskret. Die Unterkunft liegt wunderschön, schon die Anfahrt ist es wert. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll und hochwertig, man hat alles was man braucht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Unser Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen, das Haus entspricht exakt der Beschreibung und den Bildern. Die Lage ist etwas abgelegen, was wir sehr schön fanden. Per Bus ist man auch in 20 min in der Innenstadt/Bahnhof von La Spezia, die Bushaltestelle ist fast direkt vor dem Haus und Anna hat uns 2 Fahrkarten geschenkt. Anna war super hilfsbereit, hat uns alles erklärt und war bei Fragen immer sofort erreichbar. Sie hat uns außerdem gute Tipps für Unternehmungen, Restaurants, etc. gegeben. Beim Check-In und Check-Out haben sie unser Gepäck zum Auto transportiert, sodass wir nichts tragen mussten. Auto steht auf einem öffentlichen Parkplatz ca. 200m vom Haus entfernt, hier hat Anna uns vor der Ankunft extra einen Parkplatz reserviert. Bei Ankunft stand ein Verpflegungskorb mit Gebäck und Honig und Kaffee bereit. Da Anna kein deutsch oder englisch spricht haben wir uns über Übersetzer-Apps unterhalten, was sehr gut funktioniert hat. Unser Hund war auch sehr willkommen.

Das Haus hat mehrere Terrassen mit sensationellem Blick, neu gebaut und schöne Einrichtung, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Ausstattung ist sehr komfortabel und das Haus ist beheizbar.

the house was really nice, located on a quiet hillside with no neighbors around, so you had a lot of privacy. It had three clean and beautiful bedrooms, and the house stayed cool during hot weather, which was really refreshing. We even had a friendly cat as a neighbor, and the host, Elisa, was super responsive and helpful. Everything in the kitchen was well-equipped, so cooking was easy and convenient.

Cristina is the perfect host and the house is beautiful. The surroundings are amazing and the views......wow! All through the booking and our stay there Cristina was swift to answer any questions we had and also was happy to offer suggestions on places to go and where to eat. We had a perfect week there and I wouldn't hesitate to go back or to recommend her place to anyone else. Cristina and her sister met us at the house and showed us round, clearly pointing out all the relevant bits that we would need to know. Thank you so much for making our week in Italy so special and enjoyable......we are already looking to come back!

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe von Freunden dort und hatten einen super schönen Urlaub! Der Gastgeber Juri war sehr freundlich und hat sofort auf Fragen geantwortet. Das Haus war groß und bestens ausgestattet. Im Haupthaus und im kleineren Haus am Pool gab es jeweils eine Küche. Man kann auf der Terrasse sehr schön mit allen zusammen essen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Zum nächsten Supermarkt fährt man knappe 10min, nach Lucca ins Stadtzentrum 15min und ca. 30min nach Pisa. Für uns war die Lage perfekt. Vor Ort ist es ruhig und wir hatten keine direkten Nachbarn.

What an amazing stay! The views from the villa are spectacular, and the villa itself was immaculate. It felt so private & peaceful. We had Chef Niki come for a private dinner and a cooking class, and he was fantastic. Brunella and Giacomo were very helpful and responsive before our stay and throughout our time there. I’m already dreaming about coming back!

Francesca is als een peettante waar je altijd liefdevol door verwend wordt. En dat kan zij als de beste! Zij heeft het, samen met haar kippetjes en hondjes Rio en Cucqui, heel goed voor elkaar in haar paradijsje boven Barga. We dronken vers geplukte thee, aten de meest smeuïge eieren en lieten ons verwonderen aan de glitterende heuvels van de vuurvliegjes. Wauw! De ochtenden begonnen al mega vrolijk met een schattige karakteristieke bakker die aan huis kwam & de avonden brachten wij door onder de geweldige overkapping; voetjes omhoog, wijntje erbij en Italiaanse dinertjes. Grazie mille Francesca voor deze heerlijke gastvrije en relaxte vakantie!

Wir hatten eine sehr entspannten und wunderschönen Aufenthalt bei Zivile und Dante. Inmitten traumhafter Natur liegt dieses kleine Paradies, das v.a. noch durch die besondere Energie seiner Bewohner*innen zu einem Ort für tiefe Erholung und Verbindung wird. Wir haben die Zeit in unserem Häuschen, die Erfrischung am Pool, die Natur, die liebenswerten Haustiere und auch jede Begegnung mit Zivile sehr genossen. Ein besonderes Erlebnis war die Vollmondzeremonie und eine energetische Behandlung. Für Menschen mit spirituellem Sinn und Sehnsucht nach Ruhe und Erdung ist dies genau der richtige Platz.

Simply unbelievable – a secluded haven with everything you'd want from a holiday home in the Italian countryside. We spent 6 days with our two young kids at Monica's place, and had one of the best holidays ever. The house is beautiful, well-equipped and charming, and the views are out of this world. Sunset out of the bedroom window will stay with me forever! Then there's the gardens - lots of room for kids to run around in complete safety, with a large infinity pool (cold in May, but still enjoyed every day by us and the kids… the view was so beautiful I proposed to my fiancee there 🥳), and also a playground and outdoor bowls lane. There's an excellent restaurant within 5 minutes walk, but Sillico is a quiet, beautiful medieval hamlet and not much more – be aware that to get anywhere you'll need to drive 12 minutes down quite a narrow twisty road. It didn't bother me, but just something to be aware of for less confident drivers. Overall: one of the best places I've ever stayed!

Anna’s apartment was absolutely dreamy it felt like stepping back in time. She paid attention to even the tiniest details, carefully preserving original paints and walls, which gave the space a truly unique glamour. Anna herself was so friendly, flexible, and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and welcoming. It was the perfect weekend getaway to detox and unwind from busy city life. Highly recommend!

Der Aufenthalt bei Alessandro und Diego war sehr schön. Es war alles sauber, die Küche gut ausgestattet (auch mit Salz, Pfeffer, Öl, etc.), im Bad gab es Shampoo und Duschgel, generell viel Platzangebot,…. Zur Lage: zu Fuß kann man eher nicht viel erreichen, das stört uns aber nicht, da wir immer mit dem Auto unterwegs sind. Supermarkt ist ca 5 min mit dem Auto entfernt, der nächste Strand ca 15-20 min, … Es ist zu erwähnen, dass von 11 Nächten 2-3 Abende (20-23 Uhr vielleicht) Militärübungen auf dem nahegelegenen millitärgelände gemacht worden sind, was schon sehr laut war (Hubschrauber). Ansonsten gab es nichts zu beanstanden. Ringsum sieht man zahlreiche Hügel, im Garten kann man den Sonnenuntergang genießen und durch den tollen Grill und Backofen draußen richtig toll kochen / grillen. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt!

Ci siamo sentiti veramente a casa. Caterina è sempre stata presente e ci ha dato indicazioni precise e con talmente tanta cura che pensiamo veramente sia uno dei migliori host incontrati fino a questo momento. La casa è deliziosa, arredata con gusto e con tutto ciò che occorre dal dormire al mangiare. Infine la doccia è veramente bella: ampia e comoda, ci si sente in un resort più che in una casa. I dintorni sono pieni di vita e si è appena fuori dalla folla che inizia a 5 minuti a piedi da casa. Per riposarsi è veramente ciò che ci vuole. Consigliato veramente tanto!

ottima esperienza per gli amanti di marina di massa. l'alloggio è molto carino e vicinissimo al centro e al mare. corrisponde esattamente alle foto pubblicate. il posto auto interno è un valore aggiunto. peccato sia sempre pieno, altrimenti sarei venuto più spesso..

Wir waren mit unserem Ferienhaus von Stefania sehr zufrieden. Toller, weitläufiger, uneinsehbarer Garten mit vielen Olivenbäumen. Pergola mit Sitzecke lädt zum verweilen ein. Auch die Sauberkeit der Unterkunft war ausgesprochen gut. Die Betten bzw. Matratzen waren sehr bequem und die Schlafzimmer schön eingerichtet. Stefania hat uns mit vielen Tipps und Empfehlungen versorgt. Sie hat für uns auch zweimal einen Tisch in der nahe gelegenen Osteria di Valgiano gebucht. Tolles Essen zu einem günstigen Preis mit tollem Blick über Lucca. Auf Fragen hat Stefania schnell und freundlich reagiert. Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben und kommen bestimmt wieder!

Francesca and her kind family have created a once-in-a-lifetime, soul-grounding experience in this beautifully restored 14th-century hillside retreat in Portovenere. We loved every minute of our six-night stay. From the mind-blowing views and steep, invigorating hikes to romantic evenings sipping homemade, earthy concoctions thoughtfully left for us—it was pure magic. We were welcomed with fragrant bundles of fresh lemons, rosemary, sage, and thyme, a gesture that set the tone for the care and warmth we felt throughout. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making our rest as memorable as our adventures. We especially loved our daily rocky hike down to the charming village, and one day we even rented a dinghy to explore the surrounding islands—an unforgettable way to soak in the coastal beauty. This place is beyond gorgeous—truly a slice of heaven.

Quel beau séjour nous avons eu. L’endroit était merveilleux. De beaux jardins fleuris, une vue époustouflante sur la mer. il y avait deux cuisines très fonctionnelles dont une extérieure très pratique pour assister aux coucher de soleil. Le quartier était paisible. Nous avons enfin pu décrocher et se reposer. Non loin d’un petit village Lerici. Selon nous encore mieux que Cinque Terre. Ne cherchez pas ailleurs! Si vous souhaitez vous reposer dans un endroit paradisiaque entre amoureux, ce fut un vrai coup de cœur!! Nous reviendrons certainement!! C’est la première fois que nous trouvons que l’endroit est encore mieux que sur les photos!! Merci à nos hôtes qui nous ont assistés tout au long de notre séjour.

This is my third visit to the Lucca area, but my first time to stay inside the city walls. Fabrizio’s apartment is perfect with respect to location, style, and quality. The terrace is such a haven. Any meals we cooked were eaten out there, and a glass of wine in the evening is a must while you listen to the lively vibe of Lucca.
