Holiday houses in Maritsa

We went for my honeymoon, with my extended family from New Zealand and we had the most amazing time. They were so kind and had left us gifts and stocked the fridge for us. It was unbelievable how much they had done. They were so helpful, gave us recommendations and always responded quickly when I messaged. Would for sure stay again!

This was an ideal place to stay when arriving late at night and leaving the next morning for onward flight. We had everything we needed and communication was very clear and helpful.

If I could give my stay more than 5* I could - the host was very accommodating and clearly put a lot of effort in making the property nice for us. The property itself was stunning, with a pool overlooking the oceans, and a few different areas to relax in. Located in a slightly more rural part of Rhodes, staying here is an excellent way to access nature and a less touristy experience of the island.

Wir waren Ende April bis Anfang Mai für 5 Nächte in Johns Unterkunft. Es hat uns wirklich sehr gefallen. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, liegt ruhig und bietet alles was wir benötigt haben. John lebt nebenan und ist ein super Gastgeber. Da wir spät abends an einem Sonntag ankamen hatte er für uns ein Hefegebäck, Aufstrich, Getränke und verschiedene Knabbereien, aber auch Nudeln und Soße in der Wohnung platziert. Das fanden wir natürlich spitze. Zudem gibt es einen TV und schnelles WLAN in der Wohnung, wir dürften sogar netflix mit nutzen. In der Umgebung gibt es mit dem Auto jede Menge zu erleben und anzusehen. Auch in der Hauptstadt ist man sehr schnell. Vom Flughafen sind es nur knappe 15min, Fluglärm sucht man hier aber vergebens. Was auch super ist, dass ein Schild "Thalia's House" oben neben der Straße an einem Pfosten befestigt ist, sodass man hier die richtige einfährt findet. (leider wollte uns Google maps auf die falsche Seite des Grundstücks navigieren)

Vi havde et fantastisk ophold i Theos vidunderlige hus. Huset var rummeligt og med gode faciliteter. Rengøringen var helt i top. Poolområdet var lækkert og indbød til afslapning. Vi var spændte på poolens størrelse, men det var en god størrelse med rigeligt plads til tre legesyge børn samt forældre. Theo var en exceptionel god vært, som bl.a. uden at tøve tilbød at køre os til biludlejningen ved lufthavnen, hvor vi skulle hente vores udlejningsbil dagen efter ankomst. Han kom tilmed forbi med lokale specialiteter, som smagte fantastisk. Alt i alt kan vi på det varmeste anbefale et ophold hos Theo i hans dejlige hus.

Maja asub imeilusas Maritsa külas, mis on suurepärane asukoht kogu Rhodose vaatamisväärsustega tutvumiseks. Imearmas maja on mõne minuti jalutuskäigu kaugusel toidupoodidest, tavernitest ja meie lemmikust kondiitripoest. Väga sõbralikud naabrid. Looduskaunis koht vaatega mägedele. Eriti nauditav on suur aed, kiiged, terrass. Kõik vajalik ka lastega puhkuseks. Vannituba täiesti uus. Michael oli igas mõttes super majutaja, jagas kohalikke soovitusi, vastas kiiresti kõikidele küsimustele ja jättis meile saabumisel isegi süüa mõnusa lõuna valmistamiseks, puuvilju ja veini. Meil oli pärast 10päevast puhkust selles paradiisis väga raske lahkuda. Eriti mu naisel, kellele meeldis hommikuti päikesekümbluses rippkiiges kohvi nautida. Oleme tõeliselt laetud ja igatseme tagasi. Südamest tänulikud Michael ile.

התארחנו זוג והיה מתאים. דירה מקסימה, בעיצוב יווני מודרני, יותר יפה מבתמונות! נעים ונקי. אוירה טובה ביתית ואיכותית. וקשר מצוין עם המארח. מספר דקות משדה התעופה.

What an AMAZING place to stay! I spent a month at this lovely place and from the moment I arrived, I felt like I was at home. The hosts, Vicky and Popi, looked after me so well. They showed so much kindness and were unbelievably helpful. I can't thank them enough for the wonderful experience I had. The villa is beautiful and the views over the mountains and sea are breathtaking. If you want accommodation away from the crowds, but only a short drive from all the action, this is the place for you! I can't recommend it enough. Useful info and benefits: *Very quiet at night for a perfect sleep *Beds are super comfortable *Load of towels and extra bedding *Everything you need for cooking, along with base ingredients and little treats *The hosts have thought of everything so it's not one of those places where you turn up to empty cupboards *The swimming pool is lovely and sun loungers very comfortable *The sun rises at the back of the property from the mountains and sets on the otherside for lovely sea view sunsets. There's lots of places to enjoy the sun and shade around the property *There's a great outdoor cooking area *5 mins drive to local shops and restaurants of Pastida or Kremesti *20 mins drive into Rhodos town, 25 to Faliraki and about 50ish to Lindos *I didn't have a car for a lots of my time there and was happy to walk everywhere but if you're not happy for long walks, it's best to get a car. It would also be super easy to hire bikes, it's not very hilly all around the coastal area. This place is SO much better than booking a resort / hotel. I will definitely be back :)
